A perfect evening at PASSIOPETUA!
We had the pleasure of having family dinner at PASSIOPETUA and the experience was entirely positive. The highlight of the evening for me was definitely the grilled ribeye steak, which I would, without exaggeration, describe as one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. The stone oven pizzas were equally delicious – perfectly crispy and wonderfully seasoned. A real insider tip for pizza lovers!
Our 4 year old son loved the LOK spaghetti with tomato sauce and declared it to be the best spaghetti he has ever had. When asked if they tasted better than mom's, he unfortunately said "yes" to his mother's chagrin. My wife bravely accepted it and later asked for the recipe for the tomato sauce :)
Not only was the food excellent, but the atmosphere in the restaurant was inviting and truly unique for Marburg.
Also worth mentioning is the excellent service: fast, very friendly and courteous. We felt completely comfortable and well looked after.
We can recommend PASSIOPETUA to everyone who values high-quality food at a fair price. A must for every visitor and resident of Marburg!
Normally I would overlook small things, but I have now experienced a similar story on my last 3 visits and would like to share today's story:
I was standing in front of the store at 10:30 a.m. (also known as opening time). The employee stormed past me and ran into the Rewe again. A few minutes later he walks past me with a sack of carrots, greets me and goes back into his shop. I thought, since it was already 10:40 a.m., that it would definitely open soon. After about 10 minutes I knocked on the blind, which was still closed. He opens and I tell him that my break isn't that long and when he would open, it's already 20 minutes after the official opening time. He said the meat wasn't ready yet. I replied that it didn't matter to me in that case because I only wanted to order vegetarian. He nods, grabs a kebab bread and puts it in the grill. I didn't think that this bread could be intended for me right away because I haven't placed an order yet. So I waited again because he continued chopping his vegetables. When he takes out the kebab bread and opens it, he asks me what's on it. I told him that I haven't ordered yet and would like 3 Dürüm and 2 Halloumi burgers. (It's now 10:55 a.m.)
He replied: “We don’t have Dürüm,” and types three vegetarian kebabs into the cash register, which I hadn’t announced as a replacement. I then quickly decided on 4 halloumi burgers.
So my order went to him at almost 10:56 a.m., realizing that I was the only customer up to that point.
I got my 4x burgers at 11:17! Almost 45 minutes after opening and as the only customer until then...
The last two times I was there it was similar. Opened too late and no Dürüm available...
A little tip: If the opening time is 10:30 a.m., then you should be ready to serve customers at that time.
I found that today very outrageous. I have to be honest. And it hurts me because you deliver really good quality food. But in my case with my break during work I MUST be able to rely on opening times and speed...
Please take this to heart and work on better time management.
I'd love to come back, but something has to change. After the first time I looked past it because everyone can be late or you didn't get a Dürüm or whatever. but for the third time in a row I've had enough.
Not a huge menu, but very good quality! They're happy to accommodate special requests. The service is very personal and friendly. You might want to book in advance, as the restaurant is a real insider tip.
The food is delicious. Not just the pizzas, but also the pasta dishes. It looks very nice and inviting inside. The staff has always been super friendly. I can recommend Pizzeria Roma to everyone. The prices are also cheaper than at any kebab shop. A real asset to Meßkirch.
We ate here for the first time and were very satisfied. The atmosphere is simple but cozy, inviting and very clean. The service was very close, courteous and very friendly. The food was consistently very tasty. From the starter to the main course and dessert, we enjoyed everything very much. Definitely a clear recommendation for the Posthörnle.
Simply the best kebab shop I know - and I've tried many!
I don't even know where to start - but this kebab shop is really next league. Anyone who thinks kebab is always the same hasn't eaten one here. As soon as you enter you can tell that the work here is done with love. The store is clean, the employees are friendly, attentive and always in a good mood - even when it's busy.
But now to the most important thing: the food.
The kebab? An absolute dream. Juicy, perfectly seasoned meat, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside – as it should be. The bread is fresh from the oven and has just the right bite. The sauces? Homemade and each one is a little highlight in itself. And the vegetables are always fresh, crunchy and perfectly balanced.
You can really taste that quality and taste come first here.
Portions? Large.
Price? Fair.
Waiting time? Short.
Addictive factor? High.
I've dragged friends along, recommended colleagues, and even taken a detour just to eat here. And every time it was the right decision. Anyone who has eaten here once will come back – we promise.
In short:
For me, the shop is more than a snack bar – it is a culinary safe space.
A place where the day gets better, no matter how it started.
From me: 10/10 – with an asterisk
PS also definitely try the Lahmacun!!!! To me it tastes like my mother's and awakens feelings of home.
