Inconspicuous, perfect restaurant, you are always warmly welcomed here. I read in the comments that the staff didn't speak much German, but I didn't notice anything about it... only when it came to the food. You actually understand each other quite clearly, right! Doner tastes best here and there are plenty of other food options available. Doner meat is so-called Yaprak Doner (high quality, not found everywhere). Price-performance ratio perfect. Keep it up, always happy. Sanitary facilities super clean, not dirty as usual 👌

I've visited the restaurant a few times, but I haven't been able to write a review until now. I was extremely satisfied with every visit. Yesterday we ordered a mixed grill platter for 5 people and were absolutely satisfied! The starter plates and the salad were served immediately after ordering, so that the short waiting time for the main course was pleasantly bridged. The grill plate was served quickly and warm. Everything tasted fresh, from the salad to the minced meat skewer. Price-performance ratio is unbeatable and the service is exemplary. What I would like to emphasize in an extremely positive way is that the visitor is in the foreground here. Our wishes were taken into account (for example, we wanted a mixed grill plate for 5 people even though this was not offered in the menu). The service takes care of the visitors and asks regularly but not intrusively whether there are any further requests and whether everything is OK. There is a pleasant, familiar atmosphere that allows you to stay for a longer period of time. This is not mass processing but an atmosphere of appreciation. I can recommend this restaurant to every visitor and am already looking forward to my next visit.

I recently ate with a few friends at the Başkent Restaurant in Essen. We celebrated a birthday there. The restaurant is cozy and the owner is super friendly and helpful!!! The food is super delicious there. I had a kebab plate. The portion was huge and totally delicious! My friends were all so satisfied and happy with their food! We rate the restaurant with two stars because we couldn't test it. In this day and age you should simply accept card payments. Walk-in customers or people just passing through like us would also be welcome. The store was completely empty around 6 p.m. where we were there. Maybe it was a sign for us.

Although we have lived less than 5 minutes away for 10 years, we were only here for the first time with visiting friends. We were pampered from start to finish, the food was delicious, and the staff was attentive at all times. Why did we wait so long? There is sufficient parking space. Everything was just right. We'd love to come back!

These must all be fake reviews, it was there for the first time yesterday and it all just tasted bad and old. I vomited what little I got, a soup and an Adana plate in front of the shop, very rancid and bad. I've been feeling bad since yesterday therefore not recommended!!!!!

We had Iftar at Baskent today and absolutely loved it. From meze to soup to adana, everything tasted really good. Even the bread was warm and really crispy. Received the food on time. I can really recommend Baskent to everyone!!! In Altendorf, no matter where you want to eat, you will never find a parking space, but this shop is the only one that has its own parking lot. I think this is very important, especially in Altendorf. Staff is very friendly. We'll definitely be back

Sehr gute türkische Küche, offen und modern gestaltetes Restaurant mit großzügigem Sitzplatzangebot, Große Portionen, kein Alkohol, kein Bier, dafür in unserem Fall gratis Ayran, sehr freundliche und rasche Bedienung, wir haben unterschiedliche Speisen bestellt und es hat alles geschmeckt. Die Suppe hat mich persönlich echt positiv überrascht.

Das war einer Zu viel, erstens habe ich Essen bestellt und das abgeholt ich komme nach Hause macht mein Essen auf, es war nicht was ich bestellt habe😩 .ich sagte ok das kann passieren. Nach 30 minuten .ich bin angekommen mein Essen abzuhollen.Die haben das Essen nicht gemacht unglaublich!. Der Restaurant Inhaber soll Leute einstellen die Deutsch verstehen. Mit Abstand der schlechteste Döner den ich je in meinem Leben gegessen habe. Der Döner war definitiv noch vom letzten Tag und schmeckt nach nichts einfach. Auch das Brot fällt wenn man den Döner in die Hand nimmt sofort auseinander und man kann den Döner nicht mehr essen. Einfach nur schrecklich und nie wieder.

Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen, es ist zu meinem Stammlokal geworden. Obwohl ich in NRW schon viele Restaurants besucht habe, bekomme ich hier große Portionen mit großartigem Geschmack zu einem erschwinglichen Preis. Ich möchte mich nochmals herzlich bei den Betreibern bedanken! 😋

Ich habe in verschiedenen Restaurants gegessen aber hier ist es ambesten, Salat köstlich, Hänschen spiess pommes, sehr köstlich. Laden ist ruhig und sauber ,optimal für Familien und Paare.

Waren dort frühstücken. Wir haben immer wieder neuen Tee gekriegt und noch einen zusätzlichen Korb mit Brot, und das alles ohne Aufpreis! Wer günstig und lecker essen möchte, der muss hier auf jeden Fall her kommen!

Vom Personal bis hinzu Speisen top. Wir waren bis 20 Personen und wurden aüsserst gut bedient. Einrichtung Sitzmöglichkeiten sehr sehr angenehm. Unser Tip an alle Gäste.

Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker, die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und das Lokal sehr schön und gemütlich gemacht. Die Küche ist offen und schön einsehbar. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Vieles fehlte leider :kein ayran mehr da, anstelle von bulgurreis haben wir einkornreis bekommen ohne uns zu fragen natürlich, kein cigköfte. Geht ziemlich laut dort ab. Ach und bitte geht mit Bargeld zum Essen, keine EC Karten Bezahlung möglich. Salat und Koteletts waren lecker, Suppen auch ganz gut. Service ist noch überholungsbedürftig.

Ein neues Restaurant, in einem sehr frischem look. Der Service war mehr als Nett und sehr bemüht um das Wohlhaben im Restaurant. Das Essen war Super und es gibt sehr viel Auswahl. Für Familien gibt es ausreichlich Platz + vor und neben dem Restaurant gibt es auch ausreichend Parkplätze. Ein Besuch lohnt sich aufjedenfall und am Ende ein leckeres Dessert ist die Krönung.

Wirklich leckere Kebabs und Salate. Raffiniert gewürzt und schön dekoriert. Auch die Linsensuppe war wirklich gut. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles frisch und in angenehmer Ambiente. Auch Tee und Baklava sehr schmackhaft. Ein entspanntes Gastroangebot, sehr zum empfehlen.
