To write a slightly different review: We particularly like to combine shopping in the city with lunch at Lichtblick (Monday to Friday). It is located in the idyllic Konviktstr. in the pedestrian zone just a few minutes' walk from the Schloßberg car park - this is advantageous when it rains. Three dishes are offered at lunch: one with meat, one with fish and a third vegetarian/vegan. Each dish comes with a soup or salad and a coffee, all for under €20. But that's not what's special: it's more the unconventional, creative composition of the dishes and their exquisite preparation: top gastronomy. We often base the day of our visit to the city on the menu at the Lichtblick, which can be viewed in advance on the website for the entire week. If the planned visit is canceled, the menu gives us great suggestions for cooking ourselves (even if the result doesn't keep up with the bright spot). The only drawback: the restaurant is not very spacious, the tables are close together, so the (impeccable) service always has to scurry past in the immediate vicinity. Never mind!

I come here almost every day. Really well run house. Great working atmosphere. The weekly lunch menu is great. Kitchen can serve meat and fish dishes as well as game easily. That's rare. Chef was on the high seas as a ship's cook on the Queen Mary. The restaurant has been run by a married couple for 26 years.

Was there yesterday. Very nice atmosphere. Unfortunately only one condition, a young man who worked super friendly and quickly. You would also have to pour the drinks yourself behind the bar. It is not possible to accommodate the number of seats available for service.
