It was a celebration for us. Welcomed and accompanied by a completely unobtrusive but always attentive service, we began our journey through the 'DJNGL'. The culinary journey began with the greeting from the kitchen, which was quite 'neutral' in terms of taste (that will remain the only criticism of the evening), but was visually convincing. As a shareable aperitif, on the recommendation of the house, we had the Crispy dreams - croquettes filled with osso buco on a light curry cream with a homemade chimi-churri - dream. We continued with Fallow's Carrots and Modern Caprese, both of which were more than successful interpretations of classic appetizers. In the main course we had Cauliflower in the Wild and - as expected - Flank with smashed potatoes and grilled vegetables. Here, the cauliflower with cous cous and tahini in particular was a true taste explosion of the most pleasant kind. But the meat and side dishes were also convincing across the board - thank you very much for the perfect degree of cooking on the flank. (Small request from the meat junkie: I would simply take the cooking level 'well done' off the menu, because that's a shame for the product. But that's an individual opinion, I know. ;) ) Actually, there was no more room for dessert, but it just had to be: So I had the Brownie of the Gods and Creme Brûlée and continued to feast. Unsurprisingly, the menu ended with excitement and we made our way back to the hotel, full of food and happy. Thanks for a fantastic evening to the DJNGL team and my wonderful company. :)
