The owner is not friendly at all and serves the Germans better than the Portuguese! We drove almost 3 hours to get to the restaurant and when we entered, as soon as he saw that we were Portuguese, he asked me if we had a reservation, when the restaurant's website doesn't even say that you need a reservation! It's very sad that we feel racism towards "our own" So, if you are portuguese is not recommend

The Café Restaurant Portugal in Backnang is a real gem! A family-run restaurant that impresses with great attention to detail and a strong focus on quality. The “hot stone” in particular is my insider tip – perfect for anyone who wants to treat themselves to a larger portion of meat, accompanied by delicious homemade fries. Another delight are the prawns, which can be ordered by the half or whole kilo – incredibly fresh and served with a fantastic sauce. A real treat! Even if it's not officially on the menu: if you ask, you can get the grilled octopus in olive oil, which is simply heavenly. Everyone will find something here and the price-performance ratio is unbeatable in the region. Absolutely recommended!

We visited Tasca do Jose on a summer Friday evening and definitely didn't regret it. There was a very nice summer night feeling in the cozy courtyard. The food was excellent and the service was extremely friendly and accommodating. The prices were quite reasonable for the food. We'll definitely be back!

Were there last night and had tapas. Portions are usually very small for the prices. Scampi and squid salad delicious. Chorizo ​​was bland and too long in fat. Potatoes cut too small for my liking.
