I'll never go to the "restaurant" just underground again

First the positive: the food was good… Aaaabut: the place smells of smoke, even though it's a non-smoking place, there's a huge TV that's on all the time (a bit unpleasant), and that's all still possible... Then came the drinks, the Coca-Cola glass had black spots on the letters on the inside, I was able to scratch it off with my nail, it was disgusting. The oil/vinegar dispenser was very dirty and the white vase on the table had already received a lot of sauce splatters. The “best” came at the end: we ordered two espressos and there was a bug (small cockroach?) in mine… Unfortunately a complete disappointment!!!

As a Portuguese person, I felt ashamed.

The atmosphere around was not the best, the garden was frequented by drunk people, but it was apparently safe, as it is a neighborhood where young students live. The place itself is a typical Portuguese tavern, one of those traditional ones, from a village that has been around for a long time! However, the hygiene was not the best, in that area there is still room for improvement, there was a dog, and a restaurant is not the best place to have a pet. The food was in fact the best surprise, very pleasant and typical of Portugal. However, I would have preferred that there was no Spanish cuisine on offer, they should focus on one cuisine and limit the choice to that. I recommend starters to snack on, while waiting for the main course. The cod was a little below the rest of the other dishes, but it was still an interesting experience. Best rice in the world Great restaurant

Classic Portuguese taberna, family run. So more of a café (counter, 2 televisions with Portuguese programs, counter, 2 slot machines) and some tables. Food is really good for the price, mom is probably in the kitchen... toilet could use a renovation.

The staek was a schnitzel, the campions from a can and the sauce I watered and the fries were not properly fried, the salad was crisp and fresh with oil and vinegar dressing. It took 15 minutes for someone to take the order and over 40 minutes for the food to arrive. The restaurant has seen better times.

I loved the food, everything was fresh, made to order, the cod cake was delicious, the sardines, the sea bass were excellent, the main course, the owner was very friendly, friendly towards customers, excellent service. I will definitely return to enjoy the authentic Portuguese cuisine that this restaurant presents in Germany.

The food was very nice. We read some comments stating that the seafood rice had no seafood, butin fact it had a n8ce amount. The service gave 4 stars only because though the waiter was supernice and helpful, the food took an hour to arrive. Inside the place there is a very strong fried oil smell. I would definitely return, but preferably during the summer when I can stay outside.

Great place, nice food and service! If you love Portuguese food, that’s the place. Enjoy the fish 🐟 they fresh and crispy! The beer 🍺 is also good!

A comida estava saborosa , mas tem um pouco de mau aspecto interior, e o senhor não é lá muito simpático com os clientes!

Essen und Service sehr gut, eine gute Stunde Warten nicht so toll. Raum sehr hell und somit ungemütlich, Musik und Geräusche von 2 TV etwas zu laut

Das Restaurant ist klein ,aber hat ein hübschen Innenbereich. Die Bedienung war nett nur das Essen war nicht so top,die Getränke gut. Man kann dort essen.

Sollte sich umbenennen in Taverne(Kneipe) Portugal. Restaurant ist der falsche Name. Es war viel Leben hier und absolut fantastisches Essen. Sollte man wiederholen.

Das Ambiente ist typisch Neckarstadt. Einfach aber sauber. Das Essen war sehr sehr gut, die Portionen waren gross. Die Fischplatte ist sehr zu empfehlen. Personal war freundlich. Das erst mal mit dem Schlemmerblock da, kommen gern mal wieder.

Gutes Essen, freundliche Bedienung.

Niemals wieder! Überteuerte Mahlzeit, lieblos zubereitet. Kein Flair. Eher ein Treff für Portugiesen vor Ort.

Essen war super, Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Eine wirkliche Empfehlung !

Eine Bereicherung für Mannheim. Wenn griechisch langweilig wird. Wenn Dorade oder Zander woanders zu oft auf der Speisekarte gelesen wurden, dann sollte man hierher gehen. Bodenständiges Ambiente, unaufdringlicher ab er sehr netter Service und günstige Preise. Hier gibt es Fischspezialitäten welche man woanders vergeblich sucht.

Klassische, mediterrane Küche (hauptsächlich Fisch) in einfachem, aber authentisch portugiesischem Ambiente zu sehr günstigen Preisen. Essen wie im Urlaub im Herzen von Mannheim.

Die Inneneinrichtung wirkt auf den ersten Blick etwas steril, aber die hervorragende Paella (Achtung vorbestellen), der freundliche Wirt und die familiäre Atmosphäre machen das Portugal zu einem echten Highlight.

Sehr gutes Essen, nette Bedienung. Wir haben zu siebt nicht lange auf unser Essen warten müssen.

Die Inneneinrichtung war ein Schock. Ehemals weisse Papiertischdecken, abgedeckt mit schmuddeligen Plastikauflagen. Die Weihnachtsdeko möchte ich nicht kommentieren. Alles in allem wirkte es schmuddelig und unfreundlich.Leider hatten wir keine Zeit uns ein anderes Lokal zu suchen. Aber das Essen war überraschend ganz gut. Der Salat war frisch und gut zubereitet, das Fleisch war schön saftig und zart. Sosse und Pilze waren leider nur lauwarm, aber auch gut.Trotzdem nicht zu empfehlen

Das positive zuerst, das Essen ist lecker und die Preis Leistung stimmt auch. Die Preise sind ehr in der niedrigen mittleren Preisklasse angelegt. Persönlich kann ich die Paella empfehlen, die mit 30 bis 35 Euro teuer erscheint, jedoch ist sie für zwei Personen ausgelegt und macht die Paella somit günstig. Doch sie muss vorbestellt werden. Nun zum negativem. Das Ambiente ist naja nichts besonderes und der kleine Laden wirkt etwas vollgestopft, außerdem wirken die manche Öl und essig spender nicht ganz so vertrauenswürdig. Die Toilette war auch nicht gut in Schuss. Was das Personal angeht, es ist höflich, aber etwas verwirrt und langsam. Doch wer einfach gutes Essen essen will, sollte einen Besuch mal reskieren. Der Eingang ist nicht behinderten gerecht, Parkplätze findet man in der Nähe. ( Wenn es hilfreich war, lass ein Daumen da )
