Finally a good catch when it comes to restaurants. Everything was right, top top top. I have hope for the restaurant industry in MA again ;)

Very good food and great service. Great atmosphere and live music. The only downside is that you can pay only in cash.

I've been going to Andalucia for about two decades and am always satisfied. I think the food, music, service and atmosphere are great.

Tapas good... unfortunately not the rest

An exceptional local and a very good service. I always visit it when I'm in Mannheim, it's highly recommended. Very friendly staff.

The food was very tasty and the atmosphere in the restaurant was great. With the live music and the decoration. Sitting in the garden in warm temperatures is very relaxing. A dinner there is highly recommended! Unfortunately you can only pay in cash, so there is a deduction.

Wir fanden dieses Lokal definitiv nicht empfehlenswert. Sehr in die Jahre gekommene Location, mit ungereinigtem, gesplittertem Geschirr, mehrmals mussten wir Teller & Besteck zurückgehen lassen. Das Essen war alles andere als gut, das Dessert katastrophal und der unfreundliche Chef noch unangenehmer. Ich weiss nicht ob es in Mannheim bessere Spanier gibt, da die Gastronomie hier generell nicht die Beste ist; hierher werden wir allerdings nicht mehr kommen.

Absolutely not recommended. The food was really terrible, the paella was made with a maximum of 3 pieces of fish and the desserts tasted artificial. Cards are not accepted and service was subpar; we will never come back.

We ordered paella with meat and a chicken salad online. Everything was very tasty, super fresh and with very good, tender meat. We also got a lot of bread with (homemade?) aioli. Yummy! The driver was very nice and got there very quickly. We are thrilled 😊

We took advantage of the first hours of sunshine this year and spontaneously met up with our neighbors and friends on our terrace. The restaurant Andalucia provided us with the food in the form of tapas. The timing was adhered to and even though the friendly driver apologized for the "delay" in his delivery, there was nothing to complain about. We had, among other things, grilled pepperoni, spinach croquettes with goat cheese, chicken skewers, dumplings filled with chicken, shrimp grilled and stuffed in batter, roasted potatoes, jalapenios, chorizo ​​grilled and stuffed in tomato sauce, meatballs, aioli and olives and much more. Most of the food arrived warm and we transferred it to appropriate warming containers so that it could maintain its temperature outside. One thing in advance; there was nothing that wasn't tasty. However, there were some criticisms. The consistency of the aioli was too thick and too salty. The dishes in tomato sauce also had too much salt. The chicken skewers (I know them as Moorish chicken skewers) were on the flame for too long and had the same color and little juice. We saw the olives as a bit of a confession of poverty. Every Turk can do it better. But the Andalucia contributed to a lovely evening and even if some of the dishes weren't quite optimal, we'll give you a second chance because we think it's great to not only have pizza, kebab or burgers delivered. So stick with it and maybe improve your points? The price for this fun for four was over €140, meaning €35 per person just for the food. It's already official. We can only provide information about the ambience based on the pictures posted online, where we liked the “beer garden” better than the restaurant. Conclusion: There is still room for improvement, especially in the flagship disciplines of a "Spanish", the quality of the food is good, but not good enough for the price and you can always add more salt. Second chance report follows ;-).

Had a delicious paella here. Nice atmosphere on the terrace and inside. Everything for a very reasonable price. The only downside was that we could only pay with cash.

The food was ok for my taste, but not so much that I would say - I definitely have to go there again. The starter was good, The paella with meat was extremely fatty and we weren't given the rest of it (which my friend wanted to take with us). Ate there yesterday. Meat super dry. We pointed this out to the waiter but had no response. Didn't even get a coffee as an apology. Prices above ground, quality below ground. Not recommended. A pity.

No atmosphere, honestly you could stop buying ham at Aldi, for a person who misses Spain I expected more atmosphere and better quality. a place that is very good to catch tourists but for those of us who know what is good it does not satisfy us

Nice atmosphere, but too much decoration for me. ... in the evening a musician plays subtle Spanish music, very pleasant. Unfortunately the food isn't quite to our taste, we ordered tapas. Roasted potatoes with lots of garlic, as well as the pimientos. Unfortunately, the fried chorizzo contained cartilage. Instead of simple white plates, beautiful clay bowls would be more appealing. Service is attentive and quick.

The atmosphere is perfect! There is live music, the owner is very friendly, the aesthetic of the place is just incredible and wonderful. When you are there you feel like you are in an incredible experience! The paella is very good!

Hoofdgerecht was ok (klassieke keuken), maar zeker niet om aan te raden. Op vlak van hoofdgerechten is dit geen spaans restaurant. De typisch spaanse smaken komen zeker niet aan bod. Het aanbod tapas op de kaart is groot, maar niet geprobeerd. Ik twijfel of ik deze nog zou proberen...

The paella and sangria look good, but taste nothing special. The live music was also nothing, as it could hardly be heard. Absolute failure!!!

Had a table reserved with the note please have a nice one, and then you get the table at the toilet entrance? If we didn't want to, they offered another place but then we have to move again????? It's a shame we often had Christmas parties at Andalusia as a couple and with my staff But the issue is settled.

Lovingly designed restaurant with a great ambience. Very good food, at appropriate prices. The service was excellent. Despite the restaurant being full, people were present but not intrusive. Overall it was a very good experience, we will come back!

Unfortunately, cheese tapas were extremely disappointing and the potatoes only came when all the other tapas were gone, small timing error. Can the different, excellent food and the good atmosphere compensate for that? I say yes!

Tappas were great, paella was unfortunately nothing. And when a mouse ran across the table, it was over. The waitress just said they had already hired someone. Very scary.

Great team, unique atmosphere and very good food.

So the restaurant has been in Mannheim for many years and has a cult status, so to speak! We also heard a lot of good things and decided yesterday, February 3rd, 2024, to finally go out to eat there with high expectations about the kitchen... The ambience really has the Spanish character and makes you feel good! The cooking was just disappointing, the paella was really bad, the rice wasn't quite tasted, it was really bland... The starters especially the cheese Sorry, super weak, you just felt ripped off Simply too expensive for what was offered!! Once was never again Too bad for the ambitious!

We were only offered space in the tent - although as it turned out later half of the restaurant was free. Order was only taken after 20 minutes Eating so-so: Aioli: was already dried out - but the taste was ok Pimientos: mushy Dates wrapped in bacon are delicious Squid rings: unspectacular Gambas with garlic: not seasoned enough, just "gambas crumbs", didn't seem fresh Dumplings with tuna: indefinable filling, bland During the entire meal no one came to ask if everyone was OK or if anything was missing. I went to the restaurant to pay - which was also uncoordinated (it was unclear who was billing, then no change, then not enough change, ...) It's a shame - I can't understand the good reviews.

Regardless of whether it's at 3 a.m. or when the sun is still shining, it's excellent. The baked anchovies even still have their heads. Simply outstanding. Definitely recommend!

Price performance is not right at all. Paella is like a frozen ready meal garnished with four mussels and prawns. This has nothing to do with one to do original paella. The starter also left a lot to be desired and was very carelessly prepared. Not recommended

Very tasty, fresh food. Fast service, always courteous and a smile on your face. We really enjoyed the meal. A little tip between us: Would you like to tip your waiter? It's best to tuck it in! 😉

Ein empfehlenswertes Restaurant. Authentische, spanische Speisen, sehr lecker und faire Preise, ausreichende Portionen. Es gibt sogar Livemusik - ein Gitarrist sorgt mit spanischen Liedern für nette Hintergrundmusik. Die Bedienungen/Inhaber sind sehr nett, man fühlt sich willkommen. Lediglich die Dekoration ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Türe zu den Toiletten, bzw. zum hinteren Gastraum, klappert und es kommt ab und an ein Schwung kalte Luft von dort. Merkt man aber nichts von, wenn man im vorderen Teil des Lokals sitzt :-) Bei Paella sollte vorbestellt werden. Wer also einen Hauch Spanien in Mannheim erleben möchte, ist im Andalucia gut aufgehoben.

Sehr schade, da das Ambiente eigentlich ganz schön ist. Wir waren mit zwei Personen, anlässlich eines Jubiläums dort. Vor ab, alles war essbar, aber Genuss geht anders. Leute, die anderes schreiben, waren entweder noch nie in Spanien oder zumindest noch nie bei einem wirklich guten Spanier (diese sind in Mannheimer Regin aber rah, schade!). Das Personal war freundlich. Die Sardellen waren knusprig, lecker und die Portion angemessen. Ebenso die gegrillte Peperoni mit Knoblauch. Dann aber: Die Calamari Romana wurden auf einem kleinen Teller serviert, bestanden aus 6 dunnen Ringen, lieblos serviert mit einem achtel Zitrone. Die Aioli viel zu fett mit zu wenig Knoblauch. Die Pimientos, eine Katastrophe (s. Bild), ein unappettitlicher Haufen, sie sahen aus wie schon einmal gegessen oder vorher aufgetaut. Auf meine Nachfrage hin habe ich die Antwort bekommen “..bei uns sind die so!” (kenne ich ganz lecker, anderes!). Die Gambas al Ajillo, diese waren in Fetzen (zerkleinert!) in viel, viel Öl mit zu wenig Knoblauch (und dieser war schon ziemlich dunkel). Und das alles zu einem stolzen Preis! Schlussendlich noch, eine Kartenzahlung war nicht möglich. Hier wird man weggeschickt an einen Bankautomaten. Von ein wenig Gitarren Live Musik sollte man sich jedenfalls nicht blenden lassen. Dacher leider nur zwei Sterne und keine Empfehlung! 👎

The restaurant is very popular.. Do reserve a table before you go..we did not but they did manage to find us a table. The food was very delicious. We loved the garlic shrimps in the hot sauce. The staff was very friendly. They accept only cash.

Essen war ok, nichts besonderes. Komischerweise total schnell da.

Muss man nach Spanien reisen um die leckerste Paella zu essen!? Ein klares Nein denn hier in Mannheim ist man die leckerste Paella und dazu ein fantastisches Ambiente. Wir waren Freitag in mitten von Weihnatsfeiern im Restaurant und bekamen einen Platz ohne Wartezeit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Leckere Paella, leckere Sangria

Wir waren gestern das Erstmal in dem Restaurant. Wir waren sehr begeistert von dem Ambiente und genau so von dem sehr freundlichen Personal! Das essen war nach unserem Geschmack sehr gut, wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch um noch mehr andere Gerichte ausprobieren zu können. Danke für den tollen Abend!

Ich mag das Ambiente und die mitreißende spanische Musik, die einen in ihren Bann zieht. Die Gerichte sind reichlich und schmackhaft und die Rotweine sind köstlich und kräftig im Mund! Es ist immer sehr, sehr spät geöffnet, so dass man sich Zeit lassen sehr zu empfehlen

Wunderbare Tapas, beste Paella ever, tolles Ambiente, freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Live Musik passend zu allem. Ein wirklich spanisches Erlebnis in Mannheim. Da lohnten sich auch die zwei Stunden Anfahrt...

Leider jetzt ist alljährlich ein Treffen in diesem Restaurant und man kann leider dazu nicht absagen, da man von einer großen Pharmafirma immer dorthin eingeladen wird! Wieder bekommt man hier einen Einblick in die spanische Kochkunst vermittelt. Noch grenzt das Restaurant durch seinen Service oder sein Ambiente. Alles ist runtergekommen von der Bedienung bis zur Toilette und von den Sitzgelegenheiten bis zum spanischen Musik Programm,was an Amateur Erlebnisse erinnert . Da ich selber hälftig Spanier bin, bin ich sicherlich kompetent genug, dieses zu beurteilen, aber Maßstäbe wie Sauberkeit und Hygiene sind auch hier sicherlich Fremdworte und für jeden anderen Gast nachvollziehbar ein Manko !

Das Essen war leider sehr fettig... zumal hat es eine ganze Stunde gebraucht serviert zu werden. An sich erstmal kein Thema, aber Kommunikation ist alles. Als ich nachgefragt habe, wie lange es denn boch dauern würde, antwortete man nur, dass es gleich da ist. Das kokoseis haben wir zurückgehen lassen, dafür kann das Restaurant nichts, war aber dennoch ärgerlich. Das Ambiente ist authentisch und der Musiker war auch gut. Vielleicht komme ich bei meinem nächsten Mannheim Aufenthalt wieder, ich denke man kann es besser und ich hoffe,dass ich einfach einen ungünstigen Tag erwischt habe. Beste Grüße

Uriges Lokal mit schönem Biergarten und spanischer Livemusik, das Essen war nicht herausragend

Essen ist ok, die Portion sah größer aus. Das Fleisch war sehr flach. Geschmack war gut. Der Service ist super. Unser Kellner war sehr geduldig und dennoch freundlich, auch wenn wir als große Gruppe nicht immer einfach waren. Danke nochmal (besucht am Freitag Abend, 6.10.)

War das erste Mal beim Spanier essen. Service war gut und das Ambiente passte auch. Es gab sogar Lifemusik. Lokal liegt zentral. Essen war auch schmackhaft. Preise noch im normalen Rahmen.

Ganz OK ...die Tapas haben mich jetzt nicht wirklich vom Hocker gehauen...fand auch dass Geschirr sehr "lieblos" ... dafür ist es wirklich nicht gerade günstig. Schlecht ist es sicher nicht ... aber eben auch kein Wow 😕

War geschmacklich sehr gut, jedoch leider nur ein vegetarisches Hauptgericht (bei welchem man mindestens zu zweit sein muss, um es zu bestellen)

Essen: Zur Vorspeise drei verschiedene Tapas. Chorizo, Baby Sepia und Anchovies. Alle drei waren geschmacklich super. Als Hauptspeise Paella. Ebenfalls eine Gaumenfreude und mit frischen Zutaten zubereitet. Service: Nett und sehr aufmerksam Ambiente: Im Hintergrund klimperte ein Solist live auf einer Gitarre. Passte perfekt zum urigen Interieur.

Ich habe bisher noch nie (!!!) ein derart schlechtes Erlebnis in einem Restaurant gehabt, weder deutschlandweit, europaweit noch weltweit! Wenn ich könnte, würde ich am liebsten 0 Sterne vergeben, aber das ist leider nicht möglich. Hier ist eine kurze Zusammenfassung meiner Erfahrung: 1. Das Essen war katastrophal, sogar eine simple Aioli haben sie nicht hinbekommen. 2. Die Bedienung war super unfreundlich und unzuverlässig. Unsere Bestellung kam nicht vollständig an und erst nach mehreren Nachfragen wurde sie endlich komplettiert. Zudem hat sich niemand zwischendurch um uns gekümmert. 3. Es war nicht möglich mit Karte zu zahlen, obwohl keinerlei Hinweis darauf gegeben wurde. (Auf Nachfrage hieß es: Das machen wir schon seit 30 Jahren so!) 4. Das Ambiente war nahezu nicht vorhanden. Wir wurden in die hinterste Ecke gesetzt, wo alte Pflanzen, ein kaputtes Fahrrad und defekte Möbel lagen. Das Schlimmste an der ganzen Erfahrung war jedoch die Art und Weise, wie wir behandelt wurden. Unabhängig davon, wer man ist, sollten wir alle als Menschen gleichwertig behandelt werden. In diesem Restaurant wurde mir jedoch das Gegenteil vermittelt. Das ist sehr bedauerlich! Ich kann wirklich niemandem empfehlen, dieses Restaurant zu besuchen. Es gibt bessere Tapas-Bars in Mannheim! Ich hoffe mit dieser Rezension kann ich andere vor einem grausigen Abend bewahren. Insgesamt hat dieser Restaurantbesuch ein sehr schlechtes Gefühl bei mir hinterlassen und das ist wirklich nicht schön.

The place is cosy and the staff is kind and helpfull. We ordered 3 kinds of tapas (patatas bravas, chorizo and empanadas with tuna fish) that were okay. As main dish, we took paella with seafood and, here, we were pretty disappointed for the mussels and the presence of sand in the rice. Mussels have to be cleaned and debearded before cooking!

Platzreservierung online mit Bestätigung. Im Andalucia wusste man nichts von der Reservierung. Nach kurzen Gespräch taucht Chef auf und meint, wir hätten Ihn durch ein kurzes Lachen provozieren wollen. (Vollkommen absurd) Redet auf uns aggressiv und bedrohlich ein. Wir sollen warten. Es dauert. Nachdem wir uns gefasst hatten, sind wir gegangen. Sorry, nie wieder. Wir haben dann im Nachbarlokal Hotel Kleiner Rosengarten unangemeldet noch einen Platz bekommen mit freudlicher Bedienung und noch einen schönen Abend gehabt.

Wiederholt hier gewesen. Livemusik! Ein Abend wie im Urlaub. Zu Beginn ein paar Tapas und danach Paella mit Fleisch. Dazu ein Glas Rotwein. Was will man mehr! Zum Schluss noch einen Orujo. Auch wenn sehr viel los war (was natürlich gut für das Restaurant ist) hatte der Service (Familienunternehmen) immer Zeit. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Zum Schluss gab es noch eine Kleinigkeit aufs Haus. Leider mit dem Auto da gewesen. Ansonsten wären wir bestimmt noch länger da geblieben und hätten noch das ein oder andere Probiert. Nicht der letzte Besuch!

Went to have dinner 3 different nights with groups of friends. Attention and service was great and attentive. We ordered many different tapas, paellas and drinks. Tapas were fine, Paella just OK. Friendly atmosphere and nice space to eat outside. We paid around $550 for 13 people (affordable for local standards).

Waren mit einer größeren Gruppe dort. Uns wurden die Tapas empfohlen. Ein Festpreis und es kommen immer wieder Tapas nach. So war es dann auch. Die Tapas waren gut. Vegetarisch, Fisch und Fleisch. Für jeden etwas dabei. Es hätte etwas liebevoller angerichtet sein können. Das Ambiente war gemütlich und es gab Livemusik (Gitarrist mit spanischen Liedern). Das Personal war sehr nett und unheimlich bemüht jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Wir wurden alle satt. Ein netter Abend, den man dort gerne wiederholen kann.

Leckere Tapas und gute Getränke. Ich mag das schöne Ambiente draußen. Trotz der Straße bekommt man ein Gefühl von Urlaub. Die Live-Musik war super. Auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich, der Chef einfach super sympathisch.

Wir haben nach einer Veranstaltung in der SAP Arena noch zu später Stunde Hunger gehabt. Nachdem es bereits nach 23 Uhr war, hatten wir fast damit gerechnet, dass wir uns mit einem Schnellimbiss zufrieden geben müssen. Tatsächlich fand ich aber noch dieses Restaurant und nachdem ich mich telefonisch kurz rückversichert hatte, dass die Küche tatsächlich bis 3 Uhr offen ist, machten wir uns auf den Weg. Das Restaurant liegt an einer Hauptstraße. Dennoch sitzt man sehr schön, da man in einer Laube unter Weinreben sitzt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir haben insgesamt 6 oder 7 verschiedene Tapas bestellt, die allesamt lecker waren. Das Essen kam in einer angemessenen Zeit und die Weingläser waren großzügig gefüllt. Live Musik gab es auch noch, da ein junger Mann auf einer Gitarre spanische Lieder sang. Unser Fazit: Was auch immer in der Vergangenheit zu einer Welle schlechter Bewertungen geführt hat, scheint kein Problem mehr zu sein. Wir hatten einen tollen Abend und leckeres Essen, wobei wir eigentlich schon nicht mehr mit so einem Glücksgriff gerechnet hatten. Wenn wir wieder in der Nähe sind, kommen wir gerne wieder zum Essen in dieses Restaurant.
