Update 12/2024: Quality is still amazing. Rarely have I had such a good falafel sandwich! They really are specialties that are rarely available, including pickled vegetables, fresh mint and delicious hummus/tahini. Keep it up! Original 5 star rating: Very tasty falafel, both as a platter and as a sandwich. Nice owner, puts in a lot of effort and pays attention to a variety of fresh ingredients and details. Recommendation!

Мы ожидали отличной ближневосточной кухни, но получили не самый лучший опыт. Для начала, надо понимать, что здесь нет алкоголя, даже пива. Ок, такая концепция, но это странно. Хозяин заведения, спасибо ему, разрешил нам принести своё вино (мы отмечали окончание выставки). Однако, его команда потом проявила полное непонимание: ни холодильник не предоставили, а штопор искали полчаса, три раза пришлось просить. Кухня тоже спорная. Хумус вообще неважный, в магазине в банках лучше. Хлеб вроде из тандыра, свежий - но тоже не впечатлил. Кач (рис с бараниной) оказался намного беднее, чем на фото, и баранина жёсткая (сам рис вкусный). Кебабы и шашлыки вкусные и довольно сочные, тут нет претензий. В общем, кухня разнообразная, даже слишком: индийский карри я не рискнул взять. Что касается атмосферы и интерьера, то бОльшая часть явно осталась от предыдущих владельцев и совершенно не соответствует концепции "кухня ближнего востока". К тому же постепенно приходит в упадок, например ручки дверей туалета перемотаны скотчем. Поставил бы "2", но любезность хозяина и невысокая цена еды прибавили балл.

For me, Levante is the tastiest and most authentic restaurant in the district. Always super fresh food, especially crisp salads, falafel as it should be and great drinks. The owners are super nice and friendly people and I am happy every time I come there or order something to pick up!
