The restaurant was full, but luckily we were seated quickly – and that's where the positive impressions unfortunately end. The staff showed no interest in us at all, ignoring our shouts and ostentatiously turning their heads away. We had to get up from the table several times to even get attention. We waited over an hour and a half for our main courses. They explained to us that many orders had come in at once and the kitchen was overwhelmed – but honestly, it looked more like we had simply been forgotten. When the food finally arrived, our impressions were very mixed. The fish was delicious, but the truffle pasta was simply awful. After a few bites, I simply gave up. When paying, no one even said "sorry" or offered us any compensation for the long wait. After the wait and the constant fight for attention, we were so exhausted that we just wanted to pay and leave. It was the worst experience I've had in a very long time. In conversations with other foreign colleagues at the company, we learned that they had a similar experience—perhaps this is the real problem. If so, we're truly sorry.
