Great terrace on the water. Good menu and delicious food. It's all self-service, but that doesn't bother us. Delicious drinks.

This is the first restaurant that comes to mind for seafood in Flensburg. The restaurant offers authentic seafood at moderate prices. Its location at Hafenspitze is also excellent, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend it to everyone.

Some dishes are good, and others you could easily prepare at home. There were four of us eating there. Two of us had fish and chips that could only be described as frozen. And that shouldn't be served in a restaurant. My wife had fish and chips. The portion was meager. I, on the other hand, had herring with fried potatoes and salad. That was the kind of meal you expect when you go to a restaurant. The ambiance is really nice.

Nice restaurant Given the prices, we weren't expecting self-service – especially since there were plenty of staff on site! The staff were very attentive, friendly, and even helped carry everything to our tables. The food was delicious and all the portions were generous 👍 The kids got a great book with the kids' menu, and the wait was short! A nice and relaxed atmosphere, especially in the fall 🌊⛵

We wanted to buy two rolls and waited five minutes. Then we asked at the restaurant. Someone will be here soon, was the reply. After another five minutes of waiting, we left. Apparently, they no longer need to sell rolls.

My visit to Gosch Flensburg was a good experience. The location by the harbor is truly fantastic and offers a beautiful view. The food, especially the fish, was very tasty and fresh. However, the service wasn't the kind you'd expect for the prices. You had to pick everything up yourself, like in a beer garden. The value for money would have been good with service.

Super beautiful. It's truly beautiful to be able to look out over the harbor while eating! It's best to eat outside on the terrace overlooking the water. Eating there at sunset is unique!

Congratulations to such a team!!! Everything is just right here. Great people at the bar. Competent people at the food ordering counter. What's often overlooked are the table service staff. You rarely see such hardworking people. They clear and wipe the tables. Never, ever do you see these nice people standing around. Since the fish stinks from the head, as we all know, Congratulations to the management. Perhaps the partner company in Kiel should get some training here.

For us, next to Büsum, Gosch has the best location and view, and the service in Flensburg is by far the best. Attentive and always on the ball... the bartenders are friendly and always have a quick joke on their lips... GOSCH at the Hafenspitze has become one of our regular restaurants, which we visit at least 2-3 times a month. Thank you for this beautiful location with people who have their hearts in the right place and who brighten up our free time.

I know Gosch from Sylt. It's always great there. It's a good location here in FL. What really annoys me is that when you pay by card, you're always asked for a tip, and you have to answer. "What kind of service?" I ask myself. And that has nothing to do with the staff. You order at the counter, pay, and pick up. It's like at the well-known fast-food chains. I had a North Sea plaice for something between 26 and 27 euros. Yeah, okay, but I've often had better. Why? The underside was fried almost black. Sorry, Gosch, I don't need intense roasted flavors from a plaice.

If you're ever in Flensburg, you have to eat fish. Very nice restaurant right on the harbor. Large terrace with plenty of tables. Very friendly staff. Great food. Large selection of fish and seafood, and you can choose your own side dish. You'll really fill up here. Our four-legged friends were also taken care of; fresh water was brought to our table without asking, for which we are very grateful.

The food is delicious and the portions are generous. The prices are reasonable. Since it's self-service, it's hard to rate the service.

Great, with a lovely terrace. Good value for money. Friendly and attentive staff. They should consider setting up separate smoking and non-smoking areas on the terrace. The unhealthy cigarette smoke from the next table is a nuisance while dining. Unfortunately, the smell from the restrooms on the covered terrace is a nuisance. I don't necessarily need that while dining.

Overall, very tasty. It's a bit pricey, but everything is fresh. Dessert is expensive and very small.

The salmon noodles were delicious, the salmon well-seasoned, and the sauce light but perfectly adequate. The service was very friendly, and despite the restaurant being full, the food arrived quickly. Overall, a very good experience—although the food at GOSCH in List on Sylt is still the best in my opinion.

Unfortunately, we expected more from Gosch, but what was offered was definitely okay. We were surprised, not in a good way, that everything here is self-service. From ordering to picking up food. It's a bit like Vapiano, McDonald's, and the like, but not Gosch SYLT... Still, the food was very good. The ambiance at Flensburg Harbor is also very good. The entire facility, from the terrace to the restrooms, should be significantly cleaner.

The food was generally okay, not outstanding but not bad either. The portion size was good. The fried potatoes were a bit too fatty for our taste, and the bacon didn't exactly go with the fish dish, but okay, that's a matter of taste. It certainly wasn't mine, and I generally enjoy meat in any form. Perhaps the fried potatoes and bacon could have spent a little more time in the pan!? Somewhat unmotivated colleague behind the counter. He seemed a bit surprised when he had to give change after all... But who expects a tip when the kids' fish sticks are all gone at a fish restaurant by 1 p.m. and they don't even offer an alternative!? 🤨 And honestly, what kind of service do you get? You go and order yourself, and you pick up your food yourself. Also, our table was pretty sticky, which deducts a point for the ambiance. Otherwise, the location is, of course, very nice, you can't complain. I went there once and it was okay, but next time I would probably try a different place.

Gosch was delicious, ordered a fish platter, the fried potatoes were good, the fish was too dry and too oily and that's a shame for the price, there was no service, self-service is ok, salad was wilted and the beetroot was old, yes, you sit well by the harbor, but that can't be the credo of what is desired here.

The three of us were at Gosch in Flensburg and wanted to eat something in the self-service area outside. First, we got drinks: a large Pilsner, a large Radler, and a passion fruit spritzer. Since our 12-year-old daughter absolutely refused to eat fish, we ordered a tarte flambée from the neighbor for her. While we parents were standing at the self-service counter again, our daughter was so rudely escorted from the outside area by the staff that she had to fight back tears. When we parents sat down with the food we had bought from Gosch, we were told that no exceptions could be made and that our daughter would have to leave. (Other guests only had one drink and were allowed to stay; our daughter also had a drink and had to leave Gosch's outside area. Besides, there were plenty of free seats for other guests; we didn't take anyone's seat.) We emphasized again that we wanted to dine together as a family, but unfortunately, they couldn't accommodate us. Conclusion: Extremely family-unfriendly place, never again! We then wanted to speak to the manager, but the waitress blatantly lied to our faces and claimed to be the manager. Later, it turned out that wasn't the case. We then took our food with us and ate it on the stairs next door. We didn't like it afterward. The fried fish wasn't tasty anyway; it was frozen, like a large fish stick, and it was right on the Baltic Sea. The fried fish from the Willich market is 1,000 times better; fresh fish, battered on-site and fried fresh; the fish and chips were marginally better. Conclusion: We'll soon be eating tarte flambée together at the neighbor's place; the people there are friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere is much nicer. Gosch in Flensburg, no thanks!

A very busy self-service restaurant, but with delicious food. Large portions, reasonable prices, fresh fish, plenty of seating, but long lines at the ordering counter. Overall, we were satisfied.

We're only talking about the bad fish sandwiches. We didn't visit the restaurant. Old, hard rolls and mushy herring from some time ago. To make matters worse, the lady at the counter couldn't or wouldn't do the math. Twice she tried to give the wrong change, to her advantage. I'm used to something different from Gosch. WHAT A PITY

Very tasty, self-service, so less service. People fetching fish sandwiches take up the tables for the restaurant, making it very difficult to find anything.

A terrace with a view of Flensburg makes up for the self-service—delicious as usual from Gosch, and reasonably priced.

It's truly a dream how this store annoys everyone around it with extremely loud music and booming bass.

Frozen fish, industrial potato salad...what can you say?!

First of all: pleasantly surprised! We were previously familiar with "Gosch Sylt restaurants" from Binz, where the salmon sandwiches are very tasty – albeit not exactly cheap. So we tried the Gosch Restaurant Flensburg on our way back from our bike tour from Denmark to Glücksburg on Monday, July 28th and Tuesday, July 29th, 2025. -> Top location at the tip of Flensburg's harbor, -> Large outdoor terrace with parasols and an additional smaller, sheltered terrace directly at the restaurant, -> Very good selection of freshly prepared food (not just fish dishes) and drinks, -> Prices are reasonable for the Flensburg/Glücksburg region, The redfish fillets with potato salad, remoulade, and a small side salad (€21.90) were so delicious that we chose it again on the second day. The fact that the restaurant's self-service concept is "self-service" didn't bother us. Everything went smoothly. -> Order your dishes directly at the kitchen counter; you receive a transponder that beeps when the food is ready. - No long wait. -> Drinks are available at the separate drinks counter right next door. -> Very tasty Kehlheimer "Schneider-Weiße" Hefeweizen (and that's in Northern Germany – wow!). The dishes are cleared away promptly by the service staff. The restrooms are clean. Conclusion: We'd gladly go back!

Great location, prices are reasonable. Despite being self-service, the staff are very attentive. Water for the dog is provided immediately without asking, and if you can't carry all the plates outside by yourself, you'll be helped immediately. The food was very good, as you'd expect from Gosch. Highly recommended.

We had lunch there. It was exactly what I expected from Gosch. Very tasty. Even though it was very busy, the food was ready very quickly. The portion was large and the price was absolutely reasonable. We had a lovely view of the harbor while eating.

Cafeteria atmosphere and you pick up yourself. Why is there an option to tip? We won't be going there again.

We ordered two 0.2 ml Fanta bottles, which together cost €6.60. That's insane for so little Fanta. I had paid €7 and was waiting for my change. The server looked at me and asked what I wanted. I said I'd get another 40 cents back. Which I then received. This behavior is outrageous, hoping no one will notice...

Unfortunately, Gosch is no longer what it once was. The food is too salty, and the portions have become so small that they'd barely be enough to feed a retiree. Perhaps it's because the people working there are people from many different countries who don't understand our culture and cook accordingly. It's a shame, but unfortunately, you can feel more and more how everything there is falling apart and going down the drain...

Good value for money. Down-to-earth cuisine at fair prices, a good wine selection without any frills. A definite recommendation.

We went to Gosch in Flensburg on June 30th. We chose the fish platter; the portion was very generous. The fish was tasty. I didn't like the seasoning on the fried potatoes. I find salt and pepper to be a good seasoning for fried potatoes. I found it rude that the staff at the food counter and drinks counter took advantage of my blindness without my glasses. Those paying by card can press a button with or without a tip. The staff simply pressed the button with the tip but took my tip anyway. I find that pretty rude. At least they said thank you. Unfortunately, I didn't look at the receipt until I was on my way home.

The only thing I personally don't like is the self-service concept. Everything else was fine.

The building and location are very nice

The worst meal I've ever been offered. The shrimp were only lukewarm, and the baguette that came with the salad was cold and not at all grilled. We'll never be back. What a shame.

This time, as regulars, we were very disappointed. My husband had a fantastic plaice with bacon, salad, and fried potatoes for 19 euros. I opted for salmon with foil-wrapped potatoes and sour cream for 21 euros. Unfortunately, that was a mistake. The potatoes were raw and cold inside. I went to the counter and swapped them for fried potatoes...it can happen, but the fish was outrageous. Two pieces, about 7x11cm and 2cm thick, and unfortunately, completely DRY BECAUSE THEY WERE PAST FRIED, and not even the typical gray area had been removed from one side. It was more like chips. I have never had such bad food at Gosch. It's a shame, because when you think of salmon for 21 euros, you expect something different, and that's actually what you get at Gosch. Unfortunately, mass processing seemed to be the main focus this time.

Delicious food with a great view

The perfect place to enjoy a traditional herring dish in a relaxed atmosphere. GOSCH, with its large sun terrace overlooking the harbor, is certainly one of Flensburg's highlights.

After being very disappointed in Heiligenhafen, everything was fine here and just as we were used to from before ;-) The decor was apparently renovated last year, so it also had a nice atmosphere. The food was also very tasty, and the staff was mostly friendly.

The service was very friendly and helpful, and the food was prepared quickly. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. You have to pick up food and drinks from separate counters. The outdoor seating with beach chairs is very nice.

GOSCH Flensburg at the harbor tip is a real treat with a fantastic location! I'm particularly impressed by the great outdoor terrace overlooking the Flensburg Fjord – here you can enjoy your meal in a relaxed atmosphere with a wonderful view. The food is fresh, delicious, and offers a nice selection of maritime delicacies. One minor criticism is the self-service, which is unfortunately part of GOSCH's business model. You always have to decide between reserving a table, ordering, and picking up the prepared food, which can sometimes be a bit inconvenient. Nevertheless, this doesn't significantly diminish the quality or the experience, as the ambiance, the view, and the food make the visit truly worthwhile. I'd love to come back to enjoy the maritime atmosphere and the wonderful terrace on the fjord!

Always good for a quick and easy meal. Sitting outside is a great option!

At Gosch, you sit with a beautiful view and in a pleasant atmosphere. For a self-service location, the service on the harbor terrace would have been very attentive. However, the food doesn't live up to the promise of the Gosch Sylt name and isn't worth the money. We had fish and chips and fried fish with fries of the simplest snack-quality, which was better at Jule's 50 meters away, both in terms of taste, appearance, and price—a shame for Gosch.

A very nice place to linger. Right on the harbor. In some places, you can eat and drink in beach chairs.

The food comes in small portions, doesn't look appetizing, and doesn't really live up to the description. The brunette waitress is extremely strange, and the owner/foreman stares at women and, if you don't respond, has a strange attitude. You're watched, and the employees act aloof, as if it were a Hilton restaurant. Ultimately, the quality is poor; they prioritize quantity. The restaurant is very loud, and unfortunately, the overall impression is negative. It's not worth the money or time. There are much nicer, more welcoming restaurants nearby.

GOSCH is always a busy restaurant! The value for money is excellent – ​​large portions of fish and seafood at fair prices! The Flensburg GOSCH also offers plenty of pleasant seating – whether on the waterfront terrace in the harbor basin, at the high tables on the promenade, in the sheltered courtyard with beach chairs and patio heaters, or indoors in the restaurant – every spot is great! The menu is, as usual, extensive and delicious. No matter how busy the restaurant is, the food is prepared quickly – the kitchen is absolutely professional!

The telephone is probably just there for decoration. Calls last for hours... No one answers the phone. Even though it's quiet.

We ordered a fish sandwich, one fried fish and one North Sea crab for €14.50. The price was okay, but very bland, no lettuce, no pickle, nothing. The service was reservedly friendly.

Gosch is completely overrated in my opinion; the fish and chips we had aren't recommended. Flens and Aperol Spritz are. Great atmosphere, right on Flensburg harbor.

Wir hatten mal wieder richtig Appetit auf Gosch Garnelen. Bestellt und bezahlt ( 25,80) ab zur Theke 2 Biere schön schal durch gezapft ( hat mit einem Pilz vom Fass mal gar nichts zu tun) über 10€ für diese Plempe.Mit den Getränken gerade am Tisch angekommen… piep piep piep piep oh das Essen ist schon fertig. Nicht mal mit der Liebsten angestoßen… Teller holen. Nun ja nach der ersten Garnele stellt sich die Frage: Esse ich jetzt schnell die Garnelen bevor sie ganz kalt werden oder trinke ich das Bier bevor es ganz schal wird. Mal ganz ernsthaft ist das euer Konzept? Essen aus der Warmhalte. Ihr seid kein Restaurant, ihr seid Kantine. Über euren 0% Service habe ich mich eh immer aufgeregt und die zwei Flossen laufen größtenteils eh immer mit leeren Händen herum. Es verabschieden sich 2 Stammkunden. So ein Mist braucht kein Mensch.

The fish sandwiches were run of the mill and the meatball was probably frozen. That my wife didn't get called out for ordering something that was out of stock was everything. Location was great and it was clean too.

We wanted to go dancing at Gosch's on Saturday. At the entrance we were put off with other 4 people waiting, it was too full and we would have to wait another 25 minutes. At least 30 guests left the event during this period. Still, no one was allowed in. After half an hour an employee came out and said 2 were allowed in...even though security confirmed that only guests had left. Underground organization and agreement...we then left. This is better...
