The Medio restaurant is located in the station's former signalman's house. A perfectly styled place in terms of interior and ambience with very friendly and attentive service in rural Oberneuland. The quality of the food, king prawns as a starter and haddock as a main course, was excellent and beautifully presented on the plate. However, in both cases the fish was too well done and therefore not worth 5 stars. However, the dessert, Kaiserschmarren, was top notch and tasted simply heavenly. When it comes to the wine list, however, the boss should rework it again, preferring one - Fantini Edizione Cinque Autoctoni 22e Edizione - on the menu rather than a Spanish Rioja Reserva, which fits the basic Italian concept much better and beats almost every high-priced red wine by far. We would be happy to come back because the overall concept was completely convincing.
