Restaurant ELISA in Bremen

Even though we didn't make a reservation, we were given a table for 1 1/2 hours even though the restaurant was almost fully booked. That was really a great thing because the food was delicious, the staff was friendly, the prices were right and the atmosphere was great. We will come back on our next visit to Bremen.

We really liked it here, from the reservation via WhatsApp to the food to the end, everything went well. The waitresses were always friendly and attentive, the food was very tasty and the portions were generous, so that you were full afterwards. The ambience is neat and modern, so you feel comfortable here. We would love to come back here when we are in Bremen again.

The food was very good, the menu was very varied and yet not unreasonably large. Service was good, but could have been a little warmer to get 5 stars. Ambience is also good, but too open and spacious for 5 stars. Price-performance ratio is right and we would come here again at any time.

Today we were there on Easter Sunday, after a long time, had reserved a table for 8 people, ok the table was perfect, But there was cutlery only for 6 Petsonen, not very nice Then we ordered and food was served for 6 people and 2 people had to wait, ok happened, but when we asked, they responded, first, but they had to know what was still missing, said again, then the two missing dishes would be served, now we had to ask for the missing cutlery, Let's come to the end, it was paid for and not even a digestive or espresso was offered, Where we have been guests for years, Are really disappointed about the whole process, We're thinking about whether we'll go there again We always enjoyed coming there but now we're just disappointed, it's a shame 🫣

Unfortunately, the overall experience was very disappointing, which is particularly unfortunate for me as a restaurateur. Visually the store made a very good impression, but that was the only positive thing. We received a half-hearted welcome and after the service took our order we didn't see anyone else. Even though we ordered water for everyone, no one came to ask for drinks or check if the food tasted good. I ordered a medium rare beef fillet, but it was definitely not medium rare and was so dry that I found it difficult to eat. A complaint was not possible as no one was available to respond. The other guests at my table were also dissatisfied. In addition, when observing the staff, I noticed that people were working in the kitchen without head coverings and that some employees were wearing very sweaty clothing. Although I understand the challenges in a hot kitchen, hygiene regulations must be adhered to. Another observation I have made is that service staff at the bar eat, eat and then prepare drinks at the same time. Not only is this unhygienic, but it also does not constitute a proper break. The on-site manager seemed to notice all of these grievances, but responded with disinterest. It's a shame as the drinks menu was very appealing but the restaurant overall fell short of our expectations in terms of service and hygiene. I can't understand the positive reviews and wonder if it might be because of the free hot drink you get with a positive review. There are definitely better alternatives for your restaurant's price level. I hope you take this feedback to heart to improve your standards.

We were there with a large group and based on the menu I was really hoping for more at Vordeld. We generally had to wait a long time for our food. Between the starter and the main course, the plates weren't cleared for what felt like an eternity...and the same afterwards. For me personally, the service could have been more attentive and committed, but unfortunately they really don't cover themselves with glory. The starter was good, although quite expensive. I had a burger, although the bun was more of a huge flatbread than a burger bun. My partner had gyros in metaxa...unfortunately the sauce didn't have much to do with metaxa. Out of 10 people, 3/4 were rather semi-satisfied, which is a shame... We then had to wait another 20 minutes for the bill. Quite steeply priced for the quality.

We had dinner at Elisa's with the whole family. The food was very tasty. Each dish comes with a large portion of salad. There is also enough bread and very good fries. It was a beautiful evening.

The food was very tasty. There was lamb curry and a salmon bowl. We also enjoyed the lovely white wine. What we found unpleasant was that we sat very present in the middle of the waiter's path, even though we had made reservations long in advance. The service was quite nice. Delicious. The portions were enough for us. The staff was friendly. It was very nice that there was a starter and a dessert platter. So you could try everything.

Conclusion after three visits: Large menu, the pictures on the menu are great and really correspond to the dishes. The food is solid, but not really anything special. Unfortunately, the service is largely unprofessional. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish. Unfortunately, there are too many things wrong with the prices quoted.

I can only recommend it to everyone. Lunch is way too hefty, you can't even get a menu at McDonald's for that price. I've already gone through the entire menu and all I can say is that no matter what you order here, everything is delicious. Everything is served fresh. The Elisa team is also very nice and very attentive. Simply TOP!!! Keep it up. LG

There is a sign at the entrance telling you to wait. Many employees look at you, but it takes minutes until someone comes. Then a waitress arrives and doesn't smile all evening. In the end she deducts €2 more than I told her. We were there at lunchtime, the food was good, there's nothing to complain about. But this unfriendly service now drives me to another restaurant nearby.

It was our first time: pleasant atmosphere, nice lighting accents. the service was nice and attentive. Unfortunately the cook wasn't exactly into "love", salt and pepper became our allies! Otherwise there was nothing to complain about. gladly again...

Overall everything was TOP. The food is always very good and the atmosphere is wonderful. Elisa is always worth a visit. However, because it is so popular, you should reserve a spot.

At the beginning it should be positively mentioned that we got a table at 7.30 p.m. without a reservation (hence the best time), taking into account a reservation from 9 p.m. Now to the essentials: Starter: Bruschetta,: underground! Soft baguette (without olive oil and unroasted) with tomato salad. The same without seasoning (no salt, no pepper, no vinegar..) just a few parmesan shavings, neutral in taste! Too bad! Main course: Pasta - huge portions - we ordered Penne Gorgonzola, €16.50 and tagiatelle with salmon, around €19. Here, too, there was a lack of pizzazz in both dishes. Okay, but not anymore. The "dishes" were particularly unfortunate. Plastic plate bowls faked on ceramic... a no go. Elisa goodbye...

Very cool restaurant! Recommend 100% The interior of the restaurant is beautiful, modern, cozy. The atmosphere is pleasant. The order was delivered quickly. The waiters are attentive and always watch the table. Special thanks to them! We were there twice with a large group and everyone ordered different dishes, everything was delicious. Everyone was satisfied 👍 The portions are large, you can easily fill up on one dish. I would like to note that there is also a choice for vegetarians. Since I don't eat meat, this is very important to me.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming important guests from Turkey, Cologne and Hamburg to the Elisa restaurant. Despite the restaurant being busy, the staff managed to reserve a table for 20 people and made the impossible possible. We arrived at the restaurant around 6:30 p.m. and only had to wait 2-3 minutes for our table to be prepared. As usual, the restaurant was filled to capacity. The service at the table was prompt and attentive. The starter plates that were served were, as always, of excellent quality and extremely tasty. Since our reservation was at very short notice and we had mentioned in advance that we had time, it was understandable that we had to wait a while for the main course. However, the expected food came perfectly prepared and tasted excellent. As a small gesture of apology for the wait, the boss even sent us desserts from the kitchen after the meal - the tiramisu was an absolute highlight and simply delicious. Overall, as always, we were very satisfied with everything. We would be happy to come back at any time and can fully recommend the Restaurant Elisa! Additionally, I would like to point out that the comments under the name "Mehmet Tüm" have nothing to do with our CHP party member, Mr. Mehmet Tüm. He left the place extremely satisfied. We will come back on his next visit to Bremen. Thank you for your understanding. It took a while this time but it was good as always, it's a shame that the store is in Bremen.

Nice, bit too expensive for the amount of food but maybe that’s normal, i don’t eat at restaurants much. If you’re vegan there are two options in the menu you can eat and both are falafel based. Nothing wrong with falafel but don’t expect much. That and two or three sides like chips you could get. I didn’t dislike being there but i wasn’t overwhelmed either. Staff was nice!

Unfortunately our food wasn't tasty. In my opinion, the pizza was simply a roll of dough that was topped with ingredients. The blinds were also on the menu. The pizza was okay, but I expected more. The presentation of the chicken burger was great, although I found the ratio of fries to burger too high. The chicken meat was breaded and the taste was reminiscent of frozen chicken, and the sauce that went with it was also very simple and reminiscent of a simple sauce that you can buy in the supermarket. We were disappointed with the food itself. The service was nice and the ambience was also quite nice, although the volume in the restaurant was quite loud (a large room).
