Ended up there by chance. Warm welcome with a handshake (where does that still exist today?). Food super tasty. Service very attentive. Price/performance is right. We felt completely comfortable. Thank you ☺️

We were allowed to stay in Giessen for 5 days and found the Croatica restaurant where we felt very comfortable. During the 5 days we went to Croatica as often as we could and actually ordered up and down the menu. Great service 👍 great food 👍 great ambience, very nice courteous service and very nice owners. We are happy to award 3x5 stars for this 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

I wanted to eat here with my family for my birthday, the weather was right, it was perfect for an afternoon in the beer garden. I called a day in advance to reserve a table. Then I was told (relatively unfriendly) on the phone that you didn't have to make a reservation because there were enough places. After asking several times, I always got the same answer. Yes, well, why not. Then we arrived and as expected, everything was full. Great, thank you very much!

Unfortunately, the restaurant is no longer up to date and stopped 30 years ago. The food tastes worse than in the takeaway and the place could use an overhaul. The staff is very nice. But with burnt food, soggy tasteless fries and an appetizer salad of iceberg lettuce and bottled dressing, I won't be coming back. I gave the restaurant a few chances, but I was always disappointed.

Ordered grill plate Brac for two people. There was enough for three! Really delicious! Fast delivery and definitely not the last order!

Also hier war ich zweimal: das erste und das letzte mal! Das Restaurant ist freundlich eingerichtet und die Bedienung sehr nett.. Schön! Ich habe Pleskavica bestellt, weil ich das in einer kroatischen Küche sehr gerne esse und liebe. Etwas erstaunt war ich über den Preis von 17,50€. Und als das Essen kam war ich enttäuscht, dass noch nicht mal ein Beilagensalat gereicht wurde. Den Rest hat mir dann die Frikadelle gegeben. Kaum gewürzt und von einem Käse im Inneren war nur ein Hauch zu erahnen. Der Reis war geschmacklos und die Pommes hatten auch kaum Salz gesehen. Und sehr bekömmlich war es außerdem nicht. Das alles hat mich dazu gebracht, diesen Laden nie wieder zu betreten. Schade, ich hatte mich auf ein gutes Essen gefreut. Dies ist meine erste Bewertung, die ich jemals abgegeben habe.
