The Aurum is a really excellent Italian restaurant. The food was delicate. Everything was taken care of here. Whether color consistency and spice. When the seafood salad was served lukewarm, I was done for 😉 The staff is also very attentive, friendly and accommodating. I'm already looking forward to the next visit.

Great selection of Italian dishes. Delicious pizza baked by Italians. Decent service in a nice atmosphere. We'd love to come back!

Everything was super tasty and there was nothing missing!

After we were looking for something to eat yesterday and discovered that many restaurants were closed the day before Christmas, we came across this pizzeria by chance and decided to give it a try. You can tell the pizzeria is more focused on delivery, but there is a large table (with seasonal Christmas lights) and a few stools at a counter against the wall. It is clean and tidy. But, and the boss himself literally told us this with a wink: "This is not a restaurant" :) Yes, that's right. It's not a restaurant. You get the drinks yourself from a refrigerator and the glasses are brought to you. What we noticed was very positive: It is really important to the owner that you feel comfortable. Special requests regarding the food were taken into account, we were asked whether it was light enough for us or whether he should turn on a little more light and when I wanted to choose my dish on one of the folded delivery cards that are available there for take-away, he did saw this and brought me a larger version of the map. Very attentive! We ordered 3x gratinated pasta and a pizza bread, so I can't say anything about the pizza or the other dishes, but these things were really tasty - and the portions were large. Finally, something about the price: We were surprised that in a time when prices for even simple dishes have gone completely crazy, there still seems to be a place where the prices have remained at the lowest level. You won't be ripped off here, especially when it comes to drinks. At first we thought it was a misprint on the menu. There are no tiny bottles at the maximum price, as I know from many other places - the apple spritzer comes in a 0.7 liter bottle for 2 euros. Yes, you read that right. 0.7 liters of apple spritzer for 2 euros! Even though it's definitely not a restaurant in terms of ambience, we felt so comfortable there that we stayed there for almost 2.5 hours and had a lively conversation - I'm very happy that we came across the "Italia" in Wiesbaden by chance have encountered.

I had a pizza diavolo that was so spicy a toddler could have easily eaten it. I had to get a bottle of Tabasco to add some spice. My complaint was met with a shrug. Not again.

I can't understand the good reviews. We ordered 2 spaghetti and 2 cokes including a tip and paid around €40 for it. The prices are overpriced and not justified. The spagetti carbonara was completely salty and sticky. The spaghetti ham mushrooms turned out pretty sticky. Therefore overpriced and poor quality. The service was very friendly but that meant I didn't have a good meal. There probably won't be another visit. Very disappointing.

Best pizza in town! Fresh dough, crispy and juicy and well topped. Gladly again and again.

Where is there something like that? The Parmesan for the Spaghetti Bolognese was charged extra at 2 euros and was then just grated cheese for the pizza. The meat was almost impossible to find. Blandly seasoned and actually inedible. The plate went back full. There wasn't even a request. The criticism was met with incomprehension. The pizza also lacked seasoning. Can't actually recommend it at all

The whole table didn't come to eat because even after 1.5 hours there was no food. Staff started lying multiple times in front of 8 guests and THEN charging incorrectly. The 2 dishes that came were oversalted and bad. NEVER AGAIN.

A typical neighborhood restaurant – more of a meeting place than a culinary highlight A nice restaurant that definitely functions as a meeting place in the district - but if you come here, you shouldn't set your expectations too high when it comes to the cuisine. The family atmosphere and the extremely friendly, fast service make up for a lot, but there is still room for improvement in terms of taste. I ordered the cannelloni with spinach and ricotta filling. Sounded promising and also looked good on the plate. However, the taste was hugely disappointing: neither ricotta nor fresh spinach could be tasted. Instead, the filling looked like frozen creamed spinach in a tube of dough. Neither pepper nor the generous but unconvincing “Parmesan” could save it. The pizza bread also left a lot to be desired - it definitely could have stayed in the oven a little longer. Conclusion: A restaurant with charm and great service, but not a must in terms of cuisine. Officially, the restaurant does not see itself as a classic Italian restaurant, but the menu is predominantly Italian - all the more irritating that schnitzel and rump steaks are also offered.
