This is simply very good, solid Italian cuisine. We were here 3 days in a row and loved the pizza, pasta and also the scallops, the fresh salads and the wonderful pistachio tiramisu. Here the guest is really noticed and special requests are never a problem. The landlady Rosa was, as always, attentive and charming - the very friendly young man also provided great service. We have been coming to Aalen on our recurring visits since 2019 and were guests of father Giovanni, who still charmingly helps out in the restaurant. Thank you for this many years of special hospitality and this consistently excellent cuisine.

Really great and very personable. We now love coming here. Why not 5 stars? The noise level is enormous, which spoils the experience. And the food is not always to our liking. But over time you find “your” favorite foods and then it’s wonderful. Thank you for the always friendly waitresses who always have a smile on their faces. Except for the boss "Salvatore", who doesn't smile, but is just a great guy with his cheeky sayings. Conclusion: Very good 4 stars and an absolute recommendation

The pizza was like a bad frozen pizza. Bad dough, too little heat and the margherita had oregano instead of basil. And all of this for a really steep price. No wonder it felt like nothing was going on. Our very objective criticism in the restaurant was not addressed.

April 2025; The renovation was a complete success; our own toilets finally eliminate the back and forth with tokens. If it gets cleaned more often, I'll come back. Recurring events make Apsoto Aalen's short-lived showcase restaurant. BUT; the giant pizza should be back!!! January 2025; Recently I wanted a cocktail with a few ice cubes. "It doesn't exist, either with or without." I've never experienced anything like that before. Some of the service team are very friendly and attentive, a few are unsure and put my food in front of me without speaking to me. 12/2024: Unfortunately, the giant pizza is no longer available. 😢 2018: We were there on a Monday and for a small extra charge you get the pizza so big that two people can eat it. Sure, there are the classic types of pizza but also variations that can't be found anywhere else. The pasta is produced in-house, some portions are very manageable and the taste is okay. There is a little flexibility when it comes to special requests. The ice cream and sundaes taste very good and are also great to look at! I can be found at Aposto at least twice a month.
