Everything was good except for the small tables

The Spartacus salad was filled with flavor, and the tandoori chicken made the salad even more complete. Reasonably priced menu too. I’ll have to come back and try more of the menu. This mood is upbeat and the wait staff is both polite and jovial. Will definitely make another pass to Aposto’s.

Pizza Waldgewächs is the best pizza there is, I love it

The food itself was really good but the service was slow, employees ignored us and at one point we forgot about it. All this even though there were five of us. We waited 1 1/2 hours just for the food and 30 minutes to pay... then another 10 for the receipt. Great food but not worth it.

Long waiting time, poorly organized (almost all the other tables got their food before us even though they ordered after us), loud, pasta dish totally bland, pizza ok, cocktails 90% ice cream. All in all, not a recommendation.

The peach ice cream doesn't taste like peach but like lemon

Nice big restaurant. The food was great but the service was a bit slow but if you have time then it’s not a problem. The restaurant is in a central location next to the city hall and it’s located in a shopping mall.

Schnelle Bedienung, Essen war zügig bestellt und genauso zügig serviert. Geschmacklich hervorragend. Gute Angebote für den Mittagstisch.

It was Epiphany. All restaurants were closed and this was one of the few that were open. I can understand that the Aposto was packed. We only got our food after an hour, by then most of the guests had already left and our dessert still took another 30 minutes. But I found it very friendly that the waitress came to meet us. The food was super delicious!! I guess we'll have to come back at another time when there's less going on. 👍🏾👍🏾

Essen war prima! Nur die Wartezeit mit 1 Stunde ging gar nicht! Mehrere Tische, die weit nach uns kamen, erhielten ihr Essen vor uns. Auf 2 x Nachfrage wann das Essen käme, erhielten wir leider keine zufriedenstellende Aussage. Schade! Service deshalb verbesserungswürdig. :-(

Very tasty food, but I personally miss the attractive daily or even weekly offers. And almost always a lack of bread.

Lange Wartezeit auf eines der drei bestellten Getränke trotz dreimaliger Erinnerung. Ferner blieb der bestellte Beilagensalat in der Küche anstatt auf unserem Tisch. Es war zwar viel los, jedoch hat Essengehen auch seinen Preis und sollte Spaß machen, der uns an diesem Abend verwehrt blieb.

Were here on Boxing Day and everyone was extremely satisfied. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Our daughter immediately received a coloring book and pencils without us saying anything. ❤️ Everyone's food looked delicious and I was really impressed with my dish. Had the pasta dish The Godfather and it was just as I imagined it. Will definitely come back. 1 star was deducted because the toilets are not private but are open to everyone, i.e. public. The rest was just very well decorated. Chairs are comfortable and invite you to sit longer :)

Perfect for families with the children's play area. Despite it being full, we were able to eat in a relaxed manner. The food was delicious. We'll be back

Great pizzas. If you can't find what you're looking for on the menu, you can put together a complete pizza yourself. Tastes very good and fresh.

12/2024: Unfortunately, the giant pizza is no longer available. ☹️ Recently I wanted a cocktail with a few ice cubes. "It doesn't exist, either with or without." I've never experienced anything like that before. Some of the service team were very friendly and attentive, a few were very unsure and put my food in front of me without speaking to me. 2018: We were there on a Monday and for a small extra charge you get the pizza so big that two people can eat it. Sure, there are the classic types of pizza but also variations that can't be found anywhere else. The pasta is produced in-house, some portions are very manageable and the taste is okay. There is a little flexibility when it comes to special requests. The ice cream and sundaes taste very good and are also great to look at! I can be found at Aposto at least twice a month.

Open Table funktioniert einwandfrei. Gehe gerne ins Aposto, weil hier alles passt.

The food is delicious and the service is quick and very friendly. The prices are absolutely acceptable, the selection on the menu is very varied and you can always find something new. The homemade lemonades are highly recommended. The location between the market square and the town hall is super central and beautiful.

In general you didn't feel like you were in good hands. It's a shame, because the atmosphere definitely had potential. But a visit to a restaurant depends on the service - and here it left a lot to be desired.

Aposto Aalen - A disappointing experience I have never experienced such rude service as at Aposto Aalen. I made reservations for four people at 6:00 p.m. Since I arrived a little early, I informed the waitress that there would only be the two of us today. We were then assigned a seat, but it was absolutely unsuitable for an important company meeting because we were sitting less than 20 cm away from the next, very loud table. We politely asked to be moved and received a curt response. The menu cards were thrown onto another table, accompanied by an annoyed “If I have to”. Shortly afterwards I received the information that a third person would be joining us, and we sat down at the table for four that we had originally reserved. The waitress then came to our table and became loud, claiming that we were not allowed to choose our own seat. When I explained that we had already reserved this table I was called rude. Instead of dealing with me professionally, the waiter abruptly ended the conversation, turned around and turned his attention to other guests - this time with a broad smile, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. I finally sought a conversation with the boss to clarify the behavior of the waitress. But before I even had a chance to express my side of things, I was insulted by the waiter and falsely portrayed as homophobic simply because I pointed out that he shouldn't wave his fingers in my face and I misunderstood his unprofessional anglicisms found. Shocked and disappointed, we left the restaurant and went to another pizzeria, where we were warmly welcomed and had a pleasant evening. My conclusion: The food at Aposto may be okay, but the unprofessional and disrespectful treatment from the staff is absolutely unacceptable. I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant if you value good service.

Es stört, dass man nach dem Essen deutlich aufgefordert wird etwas nachzubestellen. Ein Dessert etc.. Es wird einem das Gefühl übermittelt, wenn ihr nichts bestellt dann fasst euch kurz, bezahlt und aufwiedersehen. Genauso ist es passiert und dass nicht zum erstmal. Die Gäste wissen wohl ob sie etwas nachbestellen wollen und können die Bedienung darauf ansprechen. Leider ist das so... sollte sich ändern

Ich werde hier so oft und so lange essengehen, bis wir etwas zu meckern finden. Seit etwa fünf Jahren sind wir hier regelmäßig zu Gast und außer gelegentlich längeren Wartezeiten (die der Gemütlichkeit eher zu- als abträglich sind), gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Am Service, an der Qualität, am Geschmack oder der Auwahl gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Doch eins: Dass Ihr uns um die Pizza Heidi gebracht habt! Furchtbar ist das ☹️

We had dinner last night. It was great as always. We were particularly impressed by the young lady (she had a bow in her hair) who brought our food. She was super accommodating, friendly and sweet! Gladly again. The food was also very tasty.

The fact that it is very loud detracts from the ambience for me. It's tedious that you arrive at the bottom with a reservation and are sent upstairs and the whole process starts all over again. Then I find it fundamentally unpleasant when you are visited exactly once to take the order and otherwise only receive your orders. No chance of ordering another drink or dessert and you have to draw unpleasant attention to yourself because you want to leave at some point and it is estimated that payment is important. If a service person is super nice, that's really great, but if she only acts with blinders on and doesn't look left or right, that's a shame. Food as always very tasty.

Man könnte meinen, es würde langweilig werden, fast jeden Geburtstag in der Familie hier zu feiern. Aber es ist auf unterschiedliche Weise immer gleich schön. So, wie dieselbe Sonne im Laufe des Jahres, denselben Wald in unterschiedliches Licht hüllt, ist es auch hier, über das Jahr die Geburtstage derselben Familie in demselben Restaurant zu feiern und doch jedes Mal wieder von der tollen Atmosphäre und dem lieben Personal, den hervorragenden Köchen und Zubereitenden überrascht zu werden. Our visit to Aposto was simply great, and we have our waiter Berkay to thank for that! With his friendly and attentive manner, he served us perfectly and made sure that we felt comfortable the whole evening. His recommendations were top and the service was simply unbeatable. We are already looking forward to our next visit – thanks to Berkay we will definitely be back!

After 200km on the Jagst-Kochertal cycle route, we took a break and ate it was very tasty 😋 Well prepared for the 136km that day. Nice service and nice ambience would like to come again.

The tastiest pizzas in Aalen! The price is also absolutely right. And, I have no idea how many kilometers the staff does per day, they are always friendly and attentive. The team itself also seems to fit well. But a big request: buy new knives. With tennis elbow you almost despair 🫣

We were there on September 20th. on site and I ordered the Brandstifter pizza. This was pleasantly spicy, but would have liked it to have been a little more spicy. Unfortunately the card machines malfunctioned and we had to pay in cash. Otherwise everything was great, gladly again!

Basically everything is really good, but you just have to say the staff isn't nearly as good as it could be. Some people can do this better alone than with 10 people. You wait at least 1 hour for 2 dishes (pizza) that's not possible. Although the food is really delicious.

Leider war der Service etwas zu langsam. Kam auch zu selten an den Tisch. Zu wenig wurde unseren Gästen angeboten. Die Vorspeise und Hauptgang wurde gleichzeitig serviert... Geschmacklich sehr gut.

To everyone who says there is too much ice in their cocktail: Have you ever been to a real cocktail bar outside your village? Ice is important for the right temperature and the melting water; cocktails should be enjoyed, not poured down quickly. It's not a traditional Italian restaurant, but rather a trendy combination of pastaria and pizzeria. The pizzas are good and exceptional and you can top them with whatever you like. I have to say the portions are huge. The cocktails at happy hour are definitely recommended. The atmosphere is industrial and very chic.

A really beautiful and very modern restaurant. Drinks and food are top class. The prices are totally reasonable. There is a classic selection but also somewhat extravagant dishes. There is definitely something for everyone here. We felt very comfortable. The service really leaves nothing to be desired, everyone is super nice, in a good mood and very helpful.

We were at Aposto on Sunday afternoon after the lunch rush. So there wasn't much going on. The service was very friendly and quick. The pizza was okay too, but I found the price of over €15 per pizza a bit unreasonable.

Solid franchise Italian restaurant, downtown location, large outdoor area. Service was nice, but neither particularly fast nor particularly attentive. Food (salads, pizza bread) was good, a little bit of goat cheese for the price asked. Spritz offer on Tuesday, great price and generously poured :) Unfortunately it took a long time until the table was cleared. The service didn't ask if it was tasty, nor did we have the chance to order another round of drinks or a dessert. The colleague just took the empty plates and was no longer seen. It's a bit of a shame, because especially in summer the shop has a really nice atmosphere and invites you to linger longer. But I don't like to be in front of empty plates and empty glasses.

Been here several times, just as a couple or with 12 people. If it was a bit tight (because someone else came along) we were offered a larger table. The food is great and not like elsewhere, here we try something new, try something new, nothing off the shelf and highly recommended. The cocktails are also great and very tasty. What's also interesting is that breakfast hasn't been around for long. I'm curious. So now we were there as a group for breakfast. It was something special, there is nothing off the shelf here. You won't find scrambled eggs or a buttered pretzel. But there are really a lot of delicious things. I ate the "Aposto Cro", it was delicious, "Avo Maria" was also ordered several times and you noticed that it tasted good. What I can also recommend is the freshly squeezed orange juice...mmm delicious.

Me and my family were thrilled. A super tasty and huge pizza. The price is absolutely reasonable, in my opinion even too cheap.

We became aware of this restaurant through research during our vacation in the Swabian Alb. We saw the good reviews and wanted to see for ourselves. Our meal consisted of 3 pizzas and 1 calzone. We (4 people (family)) were shocked when our pizza came to the table 😳😳. I/we have never had such a big pizza on the table. When we asked the waitress, we were told that this size would be common. We could have gotten a size smaller. 🤭🤭 But as I said, we only found out afterwards. We have to say that we come from the far north (west coast) and the clocks tick differently there. You order by size. Our pizza now had a diameter of at least 40cm, by my estimate. My daughter had a stuffed calzone. This was also oversized😳😳. For us it's just half that. Even my husband had difficulty getting his pizza open this time.🤣🤣🤣 The price-performance ratio is therefore totally appropriate. The service was always attentive and was able to read our every wish from our lips. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰. Now our vacation is coming to an end and one thing is certain, next year we will come back and eat there.😋😋😋😋 Thank you for the great service. Keep it that way.👋👋👋👋

Unfortunately, we were almost ignored in terms of service because we were sitting a little out of the way in the children's corner. It came and came - despite two announcements and friendly requests - unfortunately no one came for a long time. So we could finally order and the drinks and food arrived almost at the same time. The food itself was very good, except for the children's meal (tomato sauce was completely watery, so there was hardly any tomato taste, wholemeal penne was still floating in a lot of pasta water, which almost scalded our child!!!) Unfortunately that's just not possible Children's corner is nice, but there is a lot of traffic in both places at the children's corner. Unfortunately we had to wait an unusually long time to pay. It's a shame, we don't know that.

Staff very accommodating, polite and on the ball. I would say that there is something for everyone in terms of food selection and the atmosphere is generally very nice. The drinks, especially the homemade lemonades and the selection of spritzers were great. About the food: I had the suburban brat, the basic idea is not wrong. An idea to add a little more pizzazz would be spicy minced meat (of course also vegan minced meat) and walnuts, as they go great with the goat cheese. I would then pay a few euros more for that :).

Had dinner with my friends today. The atmosphere was really great and everything was perfect. But I particularly like the unusual names of the menu, which put a smile on your face. There is no complaint per se. The price is excellent, but I complain that the drinks are a bit too expensive. All in all, I would say that it is definitely worth dining here.

Es war trotz der riesigen Leinwände für die EM-Spiele ruhig, so dass man ungestört essen konnte. Das Essen selbst übertraf alle positiven Erwartungen, obwohl wir seit über vier Jahren 1-2 Mal/Monat hier essen und wir die Qualität mit großer Überzeugung genießen. Allerdings ist nicht jedes Steak wie das andere und Steaks gelingen nun mal nicht jedem und immer. Auch ist das Chili-Öl mal intensiver, mal milder, und deshalb sind wir so begeistert - es gab noch keine Enttäuschungen und gerade, weil nicht immer alles gleich schmeckt, ist es hier so lecker! Immer gleich ist jedoch die Frische der Zutaten, das Delikate der Dressings und der außergewöhnliche Service: Lieb, Flexibel, kompetent… Obwohl es uns unendlich leid tut, dass es die Pizza Heidi und die kleine Diva als Nachtisch nicht mehr gibt. Aber da das schöne Bild mit der Spaghetti-Köchen auch wieder aufgehängt wurde, hoffen wir mal, dass auch die Speisekarte wieder korrigiert wird :-) Wieder mal war es ein Geburtstag, der uns herbrachte und auch, wenn sich die ursprüngliche Anzahl der Gäste nahezu halbierte, hatten wir ungeheuren Spaß und eine sehr schöne Zeit. For the second time we got the impression that guests are rather unwelcome here. The countless waitresses were friendly, but with relatively few visitors, we waited almost an hour for our two dishes during the lunch break. We didn't have much time to eat anymore... There were no questions about the drinks emptied while waiting. The salad was absolutely soggy, the pasta was OK, but nothing special either. The menu is more hip than authentic with burgers, pizza and pasta, New York cheesecake and pulled pork. All in all, it's a shame, really a shame, because the location is really great.

Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Essen war lecker sowie die Cocktails. Die selber gemachte Limonade ist sehr zu empfehlen.

I had the dish "Pinkes Glück", which unfortunately tasted absolutely nothing like anything and wasn't filling either. The presentation from the court was sober. Instead of pink noodles (due to the beetroot), the noodles were gray, which of course didn't look that appealing. The drinks were OK. But why do you pay €4 for a tea? Positive: The staff was friendly, the location looks nice. However, I won't be going there any time soon.

The ambience... well - it's just great. It is also easily suitable for larger groups. The staff is friendly and very hardworking. But given today's shortage of skilled workers - who's not surprised - not enough. The food: Totally unconventional at first glance. But I was blown away... super tasty. The menu fully satisfies both vegetarians and normal eaters. I can only recommend a visit there.

Ordered takeaway food. “PASTA FOR LUNCH Whole wheat penne | Avocado | dried tomatoes | Garlic | Olive oil | Lemon | Chili Flakes" This dish can be revised, the penne was good, the spiciness was dominant and the rest was a bit tasteless, the avocado didn't fit at all, unfortunately I didn't notice any of the lemon and garlic.
