A really homely, lovely Italian restaurant with a cozy atmosphere! The building/house itself has a decades-long positive tradition as a restaurant! Friendly, attentive and nice service! A great selection of dishes with exceptional Italian dishes, especially with the special daily offers! It's worth a visit, even if it's just for a delicious pizza! I ate Spaghetti Polpo, my wife had Tagliatelle Vegetariana with a small side salad, friends had veal liver, pizza and other things. We were all very satisfied and would love to come back! It's worth a visit, it was our first time!

Ultimately it was my first time at Girasole. The Italian restaurant is located just outside the center near Hölderlinplatz and offers a cozy atmosphere. In addition to the standard menu, there is a special lunch menu with dishes at reasonable prices. Although these are not a culinary revelation, they leave nothing to be desired in terms of quality and taste. This makes Girasole a real alternative to the sometimes overpriced Italian restaurants in the city center.

We happened to be in this restaurant today after viewing an apartment. We can give a clear recommendation. The food was terrific and didn't take long to arrive. The staff very friendly and polite. Every now and then they would ask whether everything is OK and how the food tastes. Seldom experienced such good service. We felt very comfortable all around and will definitely come back again when we are in Bochum.

Best and only authentic Italian in Trier. Not the boring usual pizza/pasta choices which are typical for German standards. This restaurant has always elevated their game serving more typical and varied dishes. Reservation mandatory.
