Great food, whether pizza, pasta, or meat. But the service leaves a lot to be desired and is quite inattentive. When we were ordering, the waiter was constantly distracted by outside activity and didn't pay any attention to us at all. All the drinks were simply placed at the front of the table, and we had to serve them ourselves. The same thing happened with the food. The service needs to improve a bit there. Prices are generally okay, except for a few outliers. For example, 1 liter of still water costs the equivalent of just under 12 euros. 1 liter of beer, on the other hand, costs only 9.60 euros. It's a bit odd.

We had salmon in parmesan sauce and a spaghetti dish with bacon, egg and air-dried Italian salami. We enjoyed our food and were served and entertained very friendly by the owner. The ambience is very simple and the restaurant is of course very small and manageable, but if the food and service are good like here, you can go home satisfied and happy. That was the case with us. We'll definitely be back.

If I were to rate the pizza alone, it would be more stars, but we came to the store at 8:30 p.m. on a Tuesday and it was completely empty. There was only lasagne and pizza, which is understandable at some point, but during our entire stay the two employees loudly discussed a variety of topics and got excited. This does not correspond to the service concept of a restaurant, which is also very expensive (over €5 for a currant spritzer). At some point around 9:30 p.m. the music stopped, which was a clear sign that we should finally leave. I think the place would have potential if it were run differently and put the guest first!

Unfortunately closed even though it says open on the internet. Too bad. I could have saved way...

Great atmosphere, delicious food and friendly service

A homely pub in the heart of Waiblingen. From Tuesday to Saturday, the Sonne is the place to go for anyone looking for a relaxed pub and maybe even something to eat. They offer a variety of pizzas, which are available until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. So, it's also a good option for those who want something different from the burgers at the Gasthaus zum Goldenen M. P.S. Yes, the pizzas are homemade and much, much better than you'd expect from a pub.

Delicious food (we had both pizzas and pasta and also a dessert) and the owner is friendly and very child-friendly. We were 4 adults and 6 children😊. There was even a little greeting from the kitchen for everyone beforehand! Whenever we are in the area again, we look forward to being treated to delicious food and humor. All the best to the owner!

Was here again yesterday to celebrate a birthday. The food was, as always, excellent and we felt very comfortable. All dishes are always made fresh, so it can sometimes take a little longer, but it's worth it. Anyone can warm up food in the microwave and it's quicker, but I don't have to go to the restaurant to do that. We always enjoy it here and have actually never been disappointed. The “Saltimbocca alla Romana”, which I treat myself to every now and then, are particularly delicious. I've also tried it in a restaurant in Rome that wasn't exactly cheap, and it wasn't nearly as tasty as here at Albino. Absolute recommendation!

I've been there several times. Whether it's pasta or pizza, it's always been delicious. All the staff are very friendly, and the service is fast. I like the atmosphere. Since it's always busy, reservations are definitely recommended.
