There were five of us and we had five different dishes. Every meal was exceptionally good. The fillet was cooked to perfection, the gyros, like everything else, was well-seasoned, the salad was fresh and crisp, and the lamb shank was first-class. The slightly longer wait was definitely worth it. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, even though the restaurant was very busy, and she was always professional. We would love to come back. I don't understand the negative comments. For me, one of the best Greek restaurants. And I've been to many.

Unfortunately, not a positive experience 😕 We could have gotten two seats spontaneously without a reservation, BUT... unfortunately, only cash payment, card payments only accepted for amounts over €100(!)... and in an unfriendly tone, "...that costs me €3.50 each time..."! Yes, perhaps (although that seems a bit high to me; how do other, especially smaller, restaurants manage it?). But I'm interested in how the restaurateur calculates his prices? And a minimum of €100 for two people is pretty steep! In any case, we didn't stay. Even though this is the first and perhaps not the last time we're in Bad Driburg... it really is very nice in Bad Driburg... but I won't be visiting the Greek restaurant HELLAS again!!! Note from May 11, 2025, regarding the owner's response: This response fits the impression left or gained - should I remain objective? My description of my experience as a tourist and guest is factual, as I perceived it – "dear" guest, if you can't read, it's your own fault, and please don't ask any questions. And if you, as a tourist unfamiliar with the area, don't have enough cash on you, then take care of it so you can get some cash. I certainly sympathize with the restaurateur, but my personal (!) annoyance about the debit card fees, which I, as a guest, can't change, could certainly have been conveyed more diplomatically. For example, you could have offered to add a surcharge of €3.50 for a bill total of less than €100, because... But with you, it was only an either/or and no alternative, and so after a brief discussion among ourselves—that's certainly permissible—we left. Feel free to change your perspective: how would you have felt in our place? In any case, we were looking forward to a delicious Greek meal, because according to your reviews, the food at your restaurant is supposed to be quite tasty. So we ended up at your Greek competitor (Restaurant ATHEN) about 500 m away... by the way, paying by card was no problem there!
