The food was very tasty, the tapas and main course were both totally satisfactory. As already mentioned by guests, there is still room for improvement in the service but we will be happy to be guests there again soon.
Actually, I wouldn't even want to give this store one star. We have reserved a table for 5 people at 12 p.m. for today, December 24th, 2023, and then you will receive an email and SMS at 9:30 a.m. canceling the reservation. The phone number listed in the email is apparently not in use and no one answers the cell phone number from the website. The late cancellation, less than 3 hours before the reservation and that too on Christmas, is a disgrace. This Sunday we can neither find a new restaurant nor go shopping to cook Christmas dinner ourselves.
Hmm... very difficult, because I expected more.
Parking directly on site. Wheelchair accessible, accessible restrooms.
We were there for dinner.
I expected more from the main courses, much more.
Classic beef roulades.
It's annoying when I can do it much better at home than the chef.
In this case, I compared it to other fine dining establishments, and unfortunately, the classic beef roulade at Flora ranks last.
Perhaps it could be better, and I simply caught the chef off guard that day.
The veal schnitzel. Was okay.
The cake, however, at the front of the entrance, in the display, looks very good.
Unfortunately, it wasn't offered to us. I'll order the cake on my next visit. But I'm sure it's good.
The presentation of the dishes on the plates was careless.
The service was also unfortunately poor. No structure was recognized, rather overwhelmed, and very long wait times.
Despite this review, there are many positive impressions about the food.
I hope to see an improvement in service and cuisine on my next visit.
Sunday menu. The latest trend of "change of order for a fee" is also in effect here. The meal began with a tomato soup that was probably made from powder. The main course included convenience ingredients. It's a shame that they only buy ready-made potatoes instead of cooking them fresh at this "country inn." The dessert contained a dollop of fresh cream, but that's the only difference from a dessert in a restaurant. In short: disappointing food with good service. At this price, we expected more and will refrain from returning.
A nice selection of Indian and Pakistani dishes, especially on the buffet day. As far as the level of spiciness is concerned, it is adapted to the German palate. Nice service, fair prices and a cozy atmosphere.
The highlight are the partly round tables, which give a slightly larger group a little extra flair...
