Landhaus Föcker in Haltern am See

Spotted while driving past. Despite Saturday evening and the perfect weather outside, we got a table. Beautiful garden restaurant in the countryside with a large playground - a little away and therefore still pleasantly quiet. Friendly and courteous service. Large portions and prepared with a lot of effort. This means that the price-performance ratio is also right. Highly recommended.

Nice friendly service. Drinks and food came quite quickly. The daily menu was quite decent. The quality of the food was average. The cake slices, on the other hand, were monstrous. Hardly manageable. The big drawback was that we had to sit in a very small space with 15 people. Meals couldn't be eaten without constantly bumping into each other. It was terrible. We call this mass processing. Not nice!

The visit was as part of a birthday. The service was very friendly and quick. The food was okay and sufficient. I didn't like the fact that strangers and therefore not relatives walked through the birthday party in the tennis hall, which was rented. I also didn't like strangers using the cake counter. There was a confusion here with the basic cake offering. This should be improved at a similar event and clarified beforehand. A positive aspect is the large outdoor area, which is particularly suitable for children and can be observed by adults from the table. The good parking options are also positive.

A beautiful restaurant in the countryside. Very tastefully decorated. When the weather is good, you can relax outside on the terrace. Food was above average and the portions were very good. We would be happy to come back.

The country house is very popular. The beautiful interior and exterior spaces mean there are nice areas to eat. There is a nice playground for the children. Many people celebrate their family celebrations there.

Went to the Landhaus Föcker for the first time this lunchtime, it was really good, on Sundays there are special Sunday menus, whether meat or fish, there was enough choice, first of all a delicious beef broth in the terrine, it's still very rare, the ambience was great OK, the service was attentive but not intrusive, we'll be back

The ambience is home-style and very cozy, the old charm is neatly presented. There's a fantastically large space outside for children, with everything from swings to pedal vehicles. Large seating area outside, covered. Service unobtrusive and OK. Unfortunately, the food is just mediocre. Schnitzel Viennese style should have been pounded (more) and therefore should have been thinner. Solid vegetarian dish.

Always a pleasure, if you are traveling by bike you should stop at the Landhaus Föcker to refresh and strengthen yourself. The outdoor area is beautifully landscaped and offers enough space. Staff is nice and accommodating.

Our male waitress in the hall, the young man with a bracelet, 9 8.24 was simply great. He looked after us like a father, which I also told him. Thank you very much for that :-)) My ;-) blackheads and I liked the food very much, but I found my fried potatoes a bit too light and sometimes a bit too thick and I was fed up! I ate at the country house for the second time today. Had a small complaint about the meat. What happened next was unbeatable in terms of perfectionism and professionalism! I got a new piece of meat without any problems. So I went to Föcker twice and was more than satisfied both times! By the way, we were looked after by Nicole. It's really great. Always in a good mood and absolutely service-oriented! So go to Landhaus Föcker!

Kamen dort für 2 Tassen Kaffee und 1 Flasche Mineralwasser hin, ca. 15 Uhr am 30.06.24. Der (Außen-) Tisch wurde auf unsere Bitte hin gereinigt da er stark verschmutzt war. Das Wasser wurde vergessen. 2 Tassen Kaffee wurden mit 9 (!!!) Euro berechnet. Geht's noch ?

Went here for breakfast today with five adults. Beautiful and well-kept ambience both inside and outside, an absolute feel-good atmosphere and great activity opportunities for children on the large lawn next to the outdoor terrace (swing, sandpit, trampoline and various vehicles). The concept that breakfast is brought to the table is great and unusual for "all you can eat", but it also has to work sensibly. The food was very tasty, good scrambled eggs with ham, a selection of freshly baked bread and rolls, a cheese and sausage plate and homemade jams. While in the first half hour it felt like a waitress came to the table every five minutes to ask if everything was there and in order, after that our table was rarely noticed, even if the plates and drinks were visibly empty . The first time we ordered "for everyone", only three rolls were brought for five people. I also don't think two slices of salmon are appropriate for the number of people. At first the egg was completely forgotten, but when we asked again after half an hour a single, very small bowl arrived for everyone. Overall, very long waiting times for supplies, so in my opinion the price-performance ratio doesn't fit with the limited breakfast time window. Will still come back and give the location another chance for lunch, as the ambience was really great and the quality of the food was very good.

We were there for the first time yesterday and had the asparagus buffet. It was an absolute hit! Lots of parking and a great atmosphere. The waitresses were extremely friendly and the buffet was an absolute blast! A large selection and everything tasted excellent (I could have eaten my fill of the asparagus cream soup alone). For such a great evening, we're happy to travel a little further and are looking forward to nice weather and the beer garden. By the way, there is plenty of space for children to play! It couldn't be better!!!

We had heard a lot about Föcker and spontaneously went there on the weekend evening. Of course, the front parking spaces were all occupied, the rear ones were unlit, so you had to be careful where you step because it wasn't asphalted. We then got a table right at the entrance. Not recommended because there were always people hanging in and out, it was super drafty in the back, we were there in winter. The inn itself has a huge bit of Bavarian tent flair. The staff is relaxed and very nice, but the order took almost 45 minutes and we wanted to leave. Ok, it was quite full and you can forgive that sort of thing. There was a special menu for that day not much choice. I ordered fish and it came with fried potatoes and a little salad. For me, I don't get anything great in any standard restaurant. Because there were a lot of groups there, it was as loud as a train station hall, so not for a romantic meal for two. We won't go there again as there are better places in my opinion.

Very crowded at peak times, but a great, rustic restaurant. Ordering a table in advance makes a lot of sense. The food is tasty, but not exactly cheap. I can still recommend it.

Once again we had a very good meal here! Unfortunately, one person in our group of 6 had to wait a little longer for his food. But this was apologized for and made up for with a free espresso at the end! We'd love to come back.

Ich bin schon als Kind mit meinen Eltern hierher gekommen und rd. 30 Jahre später immer noch gerne zu Gast. Die Stube ist sehr gemütlich, der Service sehr freundlich und das Essen überzeugt. Am Sonntag gibt es zusätzlich zur Bestellung eine Vorsuppe und einen Nachtisch. Ganz selbstverständlich 😊 Auch der Außenbereich ist schön gemacht. Immer gut besucht - das beste Indiz dafür, dass man hier nichts falsch macht und gerne einkehrt. Wir sagen danke für die jahrelange Gastfreundschaft und kommen jederzeit (hoffentlich auch die nächsten 30 Jahre 😉) gerne wieder 😊

A big compliment to this restaurant. Very idyllic atmosphere which is like our second home Bavaria. In terms of taste, it was an absolute 1. It was the first time there, certainly not the last time.

After a nice walk in Hervester Bruch, I stopped here to have something to eat and drink. The external impression alone is impressive and is very inviting and well-kept - with wonderful, stress-free parking options. I had Indian-style chicken breast with salad with a delicious milky coffee. In addition to the salad, the house also served a basket with two types of bread and delicious garlic and delicious lard with fried onions. The food was visual; as well as a pure pleasure in terms of taste! Juicy, tender, creamy... just great! The whole thing was available for 25.90 euros - and it was worth every cent! Many thanks also to the kitchen for the delicious food. I will definitely come back (with reinforcements in my luggage ;-). Thank you for this great experience!

We went to the menu carousel for the first time today and were absolutely satisfied. The food was delicious, the wines matched the courses, the service was very friendly and accommodating. We had the sea bream once and the rack of lamb as our main course. Both very tasty and highly recommended. Price-performance is definitely right here given the quality on offer and the restaurant is in an idyllic location in a district of Haltern. We will come back in any case!

Nice ambience, good food, friendly service

The food we initially ordered (Düsseldoofer Mustard Roast) was very bad. The meat was stringy and tough. After complaining, the waiter offered to bring me a steak knife (hihi). I declined and instead ordered a pepper steak as a replacement. That was great. I was only charged for the first meal. Otherwise, the large front entrance area was very crowded and extremely loud and restless. We didn't like that at all. We were only able to converse with great difficulty. That's why we quickly ran away. In the opinion of my “blackheads”, their previous visits outside and in the back of the restaurant were much better and more pleasant. I guess I was unlucky. Still, I was dissatisfied.
