After tasting the hearty Korean snack food in the center of Königstein, I was glad to feel like I was in Korea for a moment. The fresh kimbap and sweet and spicy tteokbokki made with freshly cooked rice were really delicious. Hot dogs are art. I had a good time.
Absolute recommendation!
Since our visit yesterday, I've been thinking about the delicious food again and again. We ordered the burger and the mix of all the salads from the counter and were totally thrilled. The food is delicious and healthy too :) We took two pieces of cake with us to take home and they were an absolute dream too! The chocolate tart in particular was amazing! I would have loved to get another piece straight away...
Thank you for this great meal :)
A clear recommendation!
It's very rare to find sushi of such a high standard in Taunus! Very fresh, very tasty, very authentic. Thank you very much and I will come back several times.
LG Marina
Small menu but really good food. Very friendly and attentive staff. Fair prices.
The seating is cramped, making intimate conversation almost impossible.
Small "hidden" Korean restaurant that serves authentic and delicious food. We had bulgogi bimbimbab, kimbab, kimchi and Korean fried chicken. Service was very friendly. Would love to come back
Loving service, delicious food (you can also treat yourself to the Kaiserschmarrn…). We just happened by and will definitely be back. Don't let the name “Flammekuchenhaus” unsettle you: there is other food too.
The best burgers I've ever had in Germany! As an American its hard to find a great burger here, and Samo's delivers the best I've been able to find!! Great location, friendly people working there, and most of all AMAZING burgers!!
Last year the product quality was significantly better. The minced meat in my portion (see pictures) had various hard small pieces in it (such as cartilage, hard fat or tendon) - the tzatziki didn't taste typically prepared in a restaurant, but was more like a purchased product (didn't really stand out). The portions weren't overly large, but they were so expensive, like they were these huge portions that you couldn't manage on your own. Since food is the most important thing in a Greek restaurant (of course, you can go to any bar for a beer), the overall score is not higher.
This place leaves a lot to be desired. My husband and I had been looking forward to staying here for years, and it was very disappointing. First, we had a hard time finding the hotel because its location on Google Maps is wrong. We were only able to find it after pulling it up on Apple Maps. We went inside, and there was no one at the front desk to greet us because he was on a smoke break. We parked right out front, just to unload our luggage, and were asked to move the car because it was a fire lane. The only thing is that the hotel parked its van in the same spot for over a day, so it seems like they're above the rules. When we got off the elevator, we were greeted by renovation materials scattered on the floor. I'm glad they're renovating, though, because this place feels rundown. We got to our room and unpacked. The floor creaked loudly with every step, but overall, things were going fine until that night when suddenly a loud noise like a generator started vibrating throughout the whole room. It was unbearable, and there was no way we could sleep like that. We were told that one of the rooms has a fireplace that was left on and overheated and the sound was from a fan that had switched on to cool the place down. The noise was going to last for over 3 hours, so we had to change into clothes, since we were already in our pajamas, and pack up all of our things, so we could move to a different room. They told us they were going to figure out something complimentary to make up for the inconvenience. That turned out to be a lie. We asked the next morning and were told that the manager would call us in about 30 minutes. The manager never called. We saw the guy working at the front desk later that day, and he said we'd get some points back but the manager was still deciding on how many. By the time we checked out the next day, we still hadn't received any points back for the inconvenience, and we were told that the managers were going to meet later that day to decide. It's been days since we left and still nothing. Worst customer service. They're understaffed. We had to ask at the front desk for housekeeping to clean our room, and when they finally did, they hadn't restocked anything. They simply made the bed. So, no coffee, tea, or water. Also, there's no central heating/air conditioning. It's very disappointing that we had to end our vacation staying here. I wish we hadn't wasted any points on this place. My parents were considering staying here, but after we shared our experience with them, they've changed their minds, which is good for them. I would not recommend this place. There are so many better ones out there.
Best place in town! Lovely atmosphere and very tasty food! Very kind owner with love for his food and his family! Keep it up! I definitely will be back again! 🤗☺️
The food was good and even without making a reservation we got a table for three people on a Wednesday evening. However, a reservation is recommended. However, there was only one waiter who served, which was clearly not enough for the entire store. Nevertheless, the ambience was very nice.
