As a wedding photographer and videographer, I have been able to accompany several wonderful weddings at Villa Rothschild near Frankfurt - and it is always a special pleasure. The location impresses with its time-honored ambience and the fantastic view of Frankfurt. For me as a photographer, it is particularly pleasant that the wedding location offers so many opportunities to capture beautiful moments in a variety of ways. At my last wedding, the civil and free wedding took place outdoors, followed by a stylish champagne reception and dinner on the terrace - simply perfect! Couple photos can be taken both around the villa and in the villa. The rooms offer the ideal setting for great pictures and video recordings during Getting Ready. Villa Rothschild is an exceptional choice for anyone who wants to celebrate an elegant wedding in an unforgettable setting. Absolute recommendation!

A/C (air conditioner) doesn’t work. Lack of charging ports.

Lovely place with great staff but overall disappointed. No air conditioning, don’t come if it’s over 80 degrees. Restaurant wasn’t open. They had a wedding one night during our stay so we couldn’t go on the veranda. Stuck inside a 90 degree room. Wanted to like this place but too many strikes…….

The restaurant is definitely worth a visit and the sommelier Cora is the pearl of the service

Today we were visiting this beautiful hotel with important guests from abroad, but we were greeted at the door by such an inappropriate, rude person who said that the hotel was closed for a private matter. I asked her if it was okay to bring someone back from the door like that and if it was written somewhere that the hotel doesn't accept guests for lunch. How professional!?It would be nice if you could write on the front gate next time that a private ceremony is taking place so that people don't get into awkward situations!

Luxury and History perfectly melded into one truly unique experience! We had the pleasure of staying overnight on a beautiful summer day and evening. From the time you step out of your car at the impressive entry and are greeted with a cold glass of champagne (or freshly squeezed juice) you feel like you have stepped back into time and are on a visit to your friends stately Villa and that feeling persists throughout your stay. The Daniel’s as I called them (Daniel 1 is the afternoon Butler/Estate Manager in charge of every detail of your stay and Daniel 2 was the morning one) were both fantastic in their customer centric skills. We enjoyed a beautiful late afternoon early evening laying on lounge chairs and sipping a cocktail prepared by Daniel in the quiet private park that is out back for guests to enjoy.. Our spacious and historic room was the music room complete with phonograph and a curated album collection that we thoroughly enjoyed listening to during our stay. The bathroom was beautiful and included dual vanities walk in shower and a deep bathtub along with robes and slippers. The breakfast they offered on the beautiful summer morning was served on the terrace out back overlooking the beautiful park setting again with the view down into Frankfurt and Beata our server was gracious and makes a perfect cappuccino and latte that we enjoyed along with a made to order egg item breakfast and amazing fresh baked goods. MUST SEE!

If you don't need to stay at the city center, it will be great experience to you...I also stayed Falkenstein but here is much better!!

Outstanding hospitality and service.

We’d an Event organised here. The event management has been constantly inflexible and up to standard. To an extent of rudeness so that we were almost deciding to cancel. We’re really thankful we did the event because of pretty good rooms. They only need some proper socketing. The rooms are individually assigned to visionaries. Quite an original idea. ALL the service staff is flexible and excellent. They could read the wish and come up with ideas or alternatives. Food was another pleasant surprise for us vegetarians. Real Michelin star cook Mr. Büttner. We were not allied to talk to him by the event management which he himself regretted. He would have been even more flexible. Excellent selection of food with superb service. In total absolutely a great event

Owned by Marriott This hotel was absolutely charming. Gave me Downton Abbey vibes. Old mansion turned into a hotel. The Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant on site. Shuttle service to the other owned buildings to where the park, spa, pool, fitness area, and other restaurants are. Walking trails through the forest behind the villa leading to an old castle ruins. Beautiful grasses and fields all around the property. We saw deer off the decks. Beautiful views of the town and castle from our balcony window. A must stay if you’re in the area. You won’t regret staying here.

Die Qualität der Speisen ist Bittner Like perfekt. Das Konzept nicht nur mehrgängige Menus anzubieten , ist für Menschen, die gerne gut, aber nicht viel essen wollen, gerade abends super. Der freundliche, kompetente aber unaufdringliche Service passt. Ein rundherum vergnüglicher Abend.

It was an absolute pleasure staying in the Villa Rothschild and I will definitely be returning! Everything was the way you'd want it to be and the staff was absolutely brilliant. This is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever been in all my life!!! They had no staff at all!!! Seemed like a ghost property!!! They had no restaurants open! No food on the property! And on top of that they wanted me to go to a lower category from the one I book during my stay! This property is a complete scam and they should be ashamed of themselves! Will also complain to Marriott and this is beneath any standards!

I was a guest in a historic house that is unfortunately not yet at the level of a 5 star hotel. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open and the expected spa and pool can only be found at the nearby sister hotel. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired with 5 stars. Maybe I got there too quickly after opening - but in a luxury hotel you should be able to expect better, especially at the beginning ........... It's a shame - because the potential of this house with its history is fantastic. Over time, the team and the house will develop into a great and great hotel. Let's give them time...................

Great location, first class service, would be happy again

The food was very good However the head waiter is true for this Location not suitable / more for a beer garden or similar (shortage of staff)

We went to “Poetry & Dinner” at Villa Rothschild. Great 3-course menu, interrupted by the appearance of the excellent cabaret artist Rene Sydow. Very friendly staff. Nice atmosphere with a large fireplace in the middle of the restaurant. Very flexible kitchen, which served the menu half an hour later than planned, as many guests were stuck in the mega traffic jam in the Rhine-Main area due to a train strike - a big compliment! Would love to come back.

Wunderschöne Location in toller Lage. Es ist wahnsinnig gemütlich! Zuvorkommender und individueller Service. Speisen und Getränke sehr hochpreisig, Qualität gut, aber nicht herausragend und demzufolge stimmen Preis/Leistung nicht zu 100% überein.

The Villa Rothschild is a mansion and today's luxury hotel in Königstein im Taunus. Now part of Marriott International's Autograph Collection since 2020. Historical place with beautiful interiors. Rooms are spacious and very well equipped. Food offering is of a highest quality. Staff are very friendly and professional.

It was a place beyond expectations, the service is very good, as well as the ambitious about food to be forgotten. This blending of flavors is a true art.

Ich bin selten in einem beeindruckenderen Haus gewesen, in welchem man mittlerweile auch übernachten kann. Die Zimmer sind alle nach einem Motto gestaltet und so gleicht kein Zimmer dem anderen. Es steckt so viel Geschichte in dieser wunderschönen Villa und sie wurde so stilvoll hergerichtet. Man kann sich so leicht in die Vergangenheit zurück versetzt fühlen und bekommt trotzdem die Moderne auf den Silber Tablett serviert. Super Service und sehr zu empfehlen!!! Die Geschichte zu dieser wundervollen Villa ist wirklich lesenswert und man wird hier in eine andere Welt versetzt. Purer Luxus und immer ein Besuch wert.

Ambiente, Service und Aufenthalt ließ keine Wünsche offen. Personal äußerst zuvorkommend und freundlich. Ein Aufenthalt ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Die Location für die Hochzeit war ein Traum. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

Abgesehen von der kriminellen Geschichte der Namensgeber und ursprünglichen Besitzer ist die Lage sehr schön und der Service gut.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel und fabelhafter Service. Wir haben hier eine traumhafte Hochzeitsfeier im letzten Jahr erleben dürfen, perfekte Zimmer, perfekter Service und ein perfektes Menü! Wir bedanken uns von Herzen bei dem ganzen Team, für dieses unvergessliche Erlebnis.

Die Villa wird im Grunde nur noch für Events geöffnet. Also für Hochzeiten, Tagungen, Firmenjubiläen udgl. Für übliche Übernachtungen durch Gäste steht es seit einiger Zeit nicht mehr zur Verfügung. Jedoch wird gerade überlegt, ob man ab Oktober 2022 die Villa nun doch wieder als Hotel anbieten will. Das hängt aber von der Lösung von vielen Faktoren ab, die sich inzwischen aus dem Pandemiegeschehen ergeben haben. Wir durften hier wunderschöne Tage erleben. Das ganze Haus stand für uns zur Verfügung. Es war ein seltenes Erlebnis, daß man als normaler Gast nicht noch einmal in seinem Leben erfahren wird. Vielen Dank an das Personal und die Leitung vom Hotel Grand Königstein, für die schöne Zeit in diesem geschichtsträchtigen Gebäude.

Wir hatten ein 6 Gang Menu im Gourmetrestaurant gegessen und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Amuse-Bouche und die Gänge überraschten geschmacklich mit vielen liebevollen Details. Die korrespondierenden Weine zum Menu sollte man unbedingt nehmen. Der Service ist rundum angenehm und absolut perfekt.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend in einem sehr schönen Ambiente - das Essen hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Als einziger Kritikpunkt - es war fast zu viel.
