We've been to L'Apero with our relatives from Lindenthal for the sixth time now – and every time it's been a real highlight! I honestly don't understand many of the sub-4* reviews, because for us, this restaurant is the absolute #1 on Dürener Straße. Ambience: L'Apero captivates with its enchanting atmosphere: stylish decor, high ceilings, a chic bar, and especially the seats by the window or outside offer a great view of the hustle and bustle on Dürener Straße. The interior is lovingly designed and invites you to relax. Host: The couple who run it are always friendly, polite, and pleasantly unobtrusive. You immediately feel welcome. I particularly like that the chef sometimes comes to the table personally to say hello or to let you know if the rump steak needs an extra minute – and then it really is cooked to the minute! Food: In terms of cuisine, L'Apero is a real hit for me. We've tried many dishes: from various tarts, prawns (the number 1 recommendation), beef carpaccio, tuna fillet, to pasta and rump steak – everything was always fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The selection of drinks is also top-notch. Particularly noteworthy: The value for money is absolutely fair considering the location and quality. A perfectly prepared rump steak with side dishes for €28 (as of June 2025) is truly reasonable in the fine Lindenthal area. Conclusion: For me, the overall package at L'Apero is just right: great atmosphere, excellent food, warm hosts, and fair prices. The website could be a bit more modern, but that's really no reason to deduct points – after all, it's the on-site experience that counts. My tip: Treat yourself to a lovely evening with friendly people, excellent food, and relaxed prices in this authentic slice of life in the heart of Lindenthal. We'll definitely be back – and every time we've been there or call, we're always told: "That was a lovely evening!" Bon appetite!

Ich hätte mich wirklich gefreut, wenn wir trotz der sehr gemischten Bewertungen positiv überrascht worden wären, insbesondere weil sich die Karte wirklich super liest, aber das war nichts. Das Restaurant ist eigentlich ganz stilvoll eingerichtet und passt zum Konzept. Der junge Mann im Service war grundsätzlich freundlich, mit unseren Reklamationen wurde aber bis auf - ich sag in der Küche Bescheid - nicht wirklich angemessen reagiert. Wir hatten den Vorspeisenteller für 2 vorab: ein wenig gegrilltes Gemüse, Salat, Falaffel, Couscous Salat und 2 Garnelen. Nicht besonders aufwendig angerichtet aber in Ordnung. Beide Garnelen waren noch komplett mit Panzer, Kopf und Schwanz und mit recht vollem Darm (dies haben wir dann bemängelt). Diese Garnelen fanden sich dann erneut mit Darm in der Bouillabaisse und waren entsprechend auch hier eher unappetitlich und haben bei "Fine Dining" nichts verloren. Suppe war sonst ok aber auch kein Wow-Effekt. Das Gemüse war viel zu groß geschnitten. Die Nudeln mit Trüffel und Parmesan hatten einen zu würzigen Geschmack, waren aber nett angerichtet. Z.B Brot mit Butter/Dip oder gar einen Gruß aus der Küche gab es gar nicht. Auch nach der 2. Reklamation hinsichtlich der Garnele keinerlei Geste zur Entschuldigung (Espresso o.ä.). Ich hätte mich wirklich über ein Restaurant mit den selbst gestellten Ansprüchen und dieser Speisekarte gefreut, so war es aber leider enttäuschend.
