Die besten Restaurants mit Franzosisches restaurant Essen in Hessen

It's been a long time since we visited the Tarragon again due to the Frankfurt City Events' "Autumn Gourmet Weeks" campaign and were extremely positively surprised. Starting from the pumpkin-carrot-ginger soup, the triangles with crayfish, to the Wagyu sirloin steak, everything was perfect. The steak was tender, but still with a “bite” and cooked to medium rare, and was a delight. Only the dessert, the mixed cheese platter, should have been taken out of the refrigerator a little earlier so that the taste and aroma of the cheese would not be distorted by the cold. The very full seating and, above all, the smokers who often walked past our table outside were a bit annoying. Overall, however, a successful evening that we will definitely repeat. Unfortunately, we had two people at the table next to us who were "professional complainers" and who described the wonderful Wagyu sirloin steak as "inedible" to the service, which was simply inappropriate given the quality of the meat and almost an impertinence.

Als Liebhaberin der französischen Küche, mit sehr vielen geschmacksintensiven Erfahrungen in Frankreich, freute ich mich ins "Coq au vin" zu gehen. Es hieß dies sei das beste französische Restaurant in Frankfurt. Nach meinem Besuch dort, kann ich kaum in Worte fassen, wie enttäuscht ich von dem Essen war! Das was "Coq au vin" serviert, hat absolut nichts mit französischer Küche zu tun! Geschmacklich ist es höchstens mittelmäßiges Niveau, keinerlei Aroma, wo bleibt die für Frankreich typische Raffinesse? Man schmeckt Fertigprodukte raus, wie die dunkle Soße, die Garpunkte werden nicht eingehalten, das Gemüse macht den Eindruck TK zu sein, alles schmeckt zu trocken. Morcheln die keinerlei Geschmack haben!!! Und man serviert als Krönung eine heiße Crème Brûlée, welche gestockt ist, weil man sie in den Ofen geschoben hat, anstatt den Zucker mit einem Flambierer zu Karamelisieren !!! Wenn man geschmacklich keine hohen Ansprüche hat, ist man dort gut aufgehoben. Niemals würde ich französische Freunde nochmals dort in das Restaurant einladen. Das Personal war jedoch sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente sehr schön. Dafür gebe ich gerne einen Punkt.

Cash-only payment is suboptimal for business meals

There were 4 of us there and we all waited almost 2 hours for our starter, which wasn't really great... The salad was drowned in vinegar and the main courses were all cold… the couscous tasted extremely strange, old and stale…. We had to pay the full price and this strange lady who had introduced herself as the boss wanted a tip. Well, we're definitely not coming any more and we'd rather actually go to France 🇫🇷 And the boss is a rip-off!!! Yes, I'm sure it was theirs!!! Ma cherie

If you order a Sauvignon blanc (glass at €16), you as a guest must of course know that it comes from the Sancerre area. Otherwise there will be blame if you don't shout out when asked "Who has the Sancerre?" The fact that the vine also grows in other regions of France is irrelevant. Just a point about style. On Saturday the restaurant is completely booked and therefore crowded. Yes, it is beautiful and the food tastes good. Tarte au citron 9€ could be better.....mais oui.....faut savoir si c'est a bonne decision

In meiner vorherigen Bewertung habe ich habe ich eine bessere Bewertung abgegeben. Enttäuscht war ich jedoch von dem Essen an Silvester. Die Speisen waren wieder sehr köstlich zubereitet. Jedoch für mein und dem Empfinden meiner Frau in lächerlich kleinen Portionen. Wenn der Menü Preis von 79 EUR nicht ausreichend ist, hätte ich gerne einen höheren Preis akzeptiert. Jedoch möchte ich keine winzigen Portionen auf meinem Teller haben... Ich verzichte jetzt auf weitere Ausführungen. In der Vergangenheit waren wir mit den Portionen und dem Geschmack sowie mlt dem Service sehr zufrieden. Das Restaurant schloß mit dem 31.12.23 leider für immer.
