Nice long-established pub with a small hall in the Heimersdorf shopping center.

After 3 years we ate there again and I wonder what has happened to this very nice place in the meantime? The waitress, who tried very hard, seated us and told us that if we knew what we wanted to eat and drink, we should call. In addition to the normal menu, we also received an Oktoberfest menu. 2 of the guests chose the knuckle with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. The knuckle was below average, dry and appeared to have been warmed up briefly. Another guest orders a paprika schnitzel with fries. The schnitzel was ok, the sauce was very watery and half of the pepper was quartered and added to the water (sauce). Never had such a bad pepper sauce before, The fries were soggy and seemed like they had been warmed up previous day. When we were finished, we sat in front of the plates for about 30 minutes and no one thought to clear the plates. A man came out of the kitchen and we asked when the dirty dishes would be put away. He said he wasn't a waiter. The waiter would walk past it countless times but wouldn't want to see it. An apple strudel that was ordered was immediately returned, also a disaster... a warmed up "pile of mud" with cream. This was not ultimately calculated. When we wanted to pay, an incorrect bill came. The waitress then went into the kitchen to get the key for the cash register from the owner (presumably for the cancellation). He was also a chef and you could hear how unfriendly the staff was. Every now and then the chef came out of the kitchen when we complained and it was surprising that a chef with such a dress, dirty T-shirt and jeans was preparing the food in the kitchen. It was the last visit for us and we won't recommend it, as there are plenty of other good places nearby!
