Very small inconspicuous shop. We ended up here by chance because we liked the reviews. From the outside you wouldn't expect such great food. Super tasty, good portions and very nice staff. We'll definitely be back.

The meat is superbly seasoned, juicy, and the flavor is truly top-notch – when it's still available. Especially in the evenings, the shawarma meat is often sold out or kept warm in plastic bags. Unfortunately, you can taste it. The fries? They're a minor detail – often cold or not crispy enough. It's a shame, because warm, fresh fries would make the whole experience much better. But: The food is generally very tasty, especially if you come at lunchtime or early in the evening. If you're in the area and craving good shawarma, you should try it – just not too late.

Nevertheless, Falafel König stands out from the crowd and has consistently offered outstanding quality for many years. I'm reluctant to leave Cologne without paying a visit to the royal head of falafel. Inexpensive and unrivaledly delicious!
