We ordered four shawarmas, but despite requesting that two of them be prepared without tomatoes because we are allergic, they didn't pay attention, so we couldn't finish the shawarma. The uncle at the cashier was really nice❤️🌸

After my visit yesterday, never again. You're served like dirt, like animals waiting to be fed. The shawarma sandwich is slapped down on the counter, completely uncaring. They don't even ask what you want on the sandwich. No please, no thank you, no goodbye. Like animals. I've always come all the way from Bergisch Gladbach to you, I don't need to put up with that again. It's no use if the sandwich is good value for money.

The taste of shawarma is special and delicious. I loved it and will visit it always.

I stopped here for the first time during a street festival and the food was surprisingly good...extraordinarily tasty for a snack. I'd be happy to eat here again.

Big portions (+) and the chicken shawarma was ok but the hummus taste nothing at all, the shredded carrots did not make sense at all, the tabbouleh was roughly chopped and quote tasteless. It was also very loud. The staff were nice though.

My first visit to Shukran was by chance. The portions were generous for the price. Everything was freshly prepared. Despite it being lunchtime and the crowds, we didn't have to wait long. A very good Lebanese snack bar in Lindental. The price-performance ratio is very fair, and the shawarma tastes good every time.

We did not eat, were waiting in the line, and were checking the menu hanged on the wall , we were asked to move aside instead of offering help to select or ask what we wanted. I did not like this experience and left there.

Great shawarma, and I also highly recommend the large metal party platters for your own celebration for 10 or 20 people. Although I'd go for the 20-piece platter for 10-15 people. The price is reasonable, so there are a lot of students. And sometimes the meat is already gone by 8 p.m., so it's better to go earlier. The atmosphere is more like a snack bar than a restaurant. It's more of a to-go business, and especially in the evenings, there are lines at the counter in the middle of the room. The service is that rough Arabian friendliness. "You're welcome." But what can you expect from a snack bar?

Shukran in Lindenthal – delicious shawarma, but with room for improvement Shukran is a solid spot in Lindenthal if you're really craving shawarma. The meat is superbly seasoned, juicy, and the flavor is truly top-notch – when it's still available. Especially in the evenings, the shawarma meat is often sold out or kept warm in plastic bags. Unfortunately, you can taste it. The fries? They're a minor detail – often cold or not crispy enough. It's a shame, because warm, fresh fries would make the whole experience much better. But: The food is generally very tasty, especially if you come at lunchtime or early in the evening. If you're in the area and craving good shawarma, you should try it – just not too late.

By chance I saw the snack bar as I was driving past and the many guests made me curious. I bought a falafel sandwich with chicken and babagamush and lots of salad and it was simply delicious, fresh and perfectly seasoned. Price performance is absolutely good and I can only give it the warmest recommendation. Great atmosphere, nice service and satisfied guests 🌯 I will go there more often

I was there today, April 12, 2025, around 9:30 p.m. Microwaved meat was served. Totally loveless and tasteless. Something like that should be mentioned. The bread was like rubber. Never again !

Ordered a plate of schwarma, which was prepared quickly and to my liking. There was a lot of skin in my meat that was soft, which unfortunately made it less tasty. Otherwise everything tasted averagely good.

Food is delicious. But the employees are always very unfriendly, so you think twice about whether you go there to get food or not. Nobody smiles at you. Food is then simply pressed into your hand. You're not even asked what you would like to have on it. Customer loyalty is definitely not a strength. It's a shame that the energy ruins it so much.

Food was very tasty, but the service left a lot to be desired. Instead of asking which salad and sauce I would like, the employee simply puts everything on it. My comment that I didn't want to eat all the salad was answered with a grumpy "I've already done that." I definitely won't be coming back.

Shukran is an absolute insider tip! The shawarma are a taste experience – juicy, aromatic and perfectly seasoned. The shawarma and fries sandwich in particular is a top recommendation for those who are really hungry. The freshly prepared, crispy fries are excellently seasoned and complement the dish perfectly - simply unbeatable! The portions are generous and the value for money is unbeatable. Added to this is the friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere that make every visit something special. If you are looking for authentic and delicious food, you should definitely try Shukran!

We ordered and picked up a party platter from the Shukran snack bar for our celebration, and it was a complete success! The selection was diverse and perfectly coordinated. The falafel was crispy and spicy, just right for our vegetarian guests. The shawarma was tender and juicy, excellently marinated and sliced ​​straight from the skewer – a real treat! The side dishes rounded the whole thing off wonderfully: hommos and babaghanoush were creamy and aromatic, and the tabbouleh was wonderfully fresh with parsley, tomatoes and a hint of lemon. The fava bean fuhl was also a successful change. The loving decoration with fresh vegetables and mild peppers was particularly nice, as well as Arabic bread, sesame sauce and a hot sauce. Our conclusion: Perfect for every party and simply super delicious! We will definitely order again.

Went today because of the good reviews. Scharwarma was ok, but it consisted of 70% iceberg lettuce, you couldn't really taste the meat. Personally, I wouldn't go there again.

A small restaurant with a very straightforward service and convenient prices. The food is good quality and you could feel the freshness of the ingredients and the options are vast, including many vegetarian and vegan options of Halloumi cheese and Falafel. Only the hummus isn't that good here, though. As a Syrian, I'd say this is a "Europeanized" shawarma place 🥙 You could get a very authentic shawarma elsewhere in Germany. However, it's still really good and enjoyable here. The colors and damasque vibe of the pkace fits well and is cozy. The service is very practical and the place might be so busy that you may not experience the friendliness of the staff. Depending on the time of your visit, the chef might be the one handling the orders, and if so, you'd end up hearing the screaming of the orders all the time, as if you're in an emergency room :') Because the place has an open kitchen. I ordered a Halloumi Falafel sandwich and it was good. You have the option to add spice to it. The Tabbouleh salad in the shawarma plate my friend ordered lacked flavor and spice. The rice and shawarma meat were very good, though 🍚 Recommended as "on the go", not-pricy option for food.

The food is still unbeatable, but unfortunately the new employees are a bit unfriendly, shout at you and there is no more Almdudler.

We have been a loyal customer of this snack bar for a long time as the falafel and shawarma used to be really juicy and tasty. Unfortunately, that has changed drastically recently. The falafel now hardly has any sauces on it and is therefore often dry and bland in taste. It's really disappointing to see how the quality has deteriorated so much. I don't understand how such a valued dish can be so neglected. It would be nice if the snack bar returned to its old quality, because the potential is definitely there.

It's a shame - it has worn off a lot! Prices increased significantly and the tabbouleh was tipped and the parsley was spoiled on the falafel plate to take away. For me it's an absolute nonsense to sell such food. As a former regular customer, I will avoid the store in the future....

My absolute favorite when it comes to Lebanese food. I come here very often and can recommend everything across the board. Just go and try it out. It's quick but there's often a lot going on. It's great that you exist.

I used to enjoy coming here often. Unfortunately the quality has deteriorated significantly here. I can understand that prices have to be adjusted but everything has its limits. There was exactly 1 (!) falafel ball in the falafel makali sandwich and the hummus was so diluted with water that it was tasteless and had the consistency of potato soup. The Schwarama sandwich was also more like a half portion. I don't have to have it like that anymore.

Well, you got your fill for 8.99, but 2.5 hours before closing time the skewers were already gone, the falafel balls were very bland and dry, the salad was rich (but not very varied), the atmosphere was very dim.

Biggest rip off!!! We paid €6 extra for 2 extra felafel on the plate. The plate itself cost 9€, how can 2 felafel cost 2/3 of the price of the plate? They even sell Felafel sandwiches, with at least 2 Felafel in them, priced at €4.90. We have therefore been deducted 100%!

An absolutely decent Syrian shawarma/falafel snack bar in Cologne. Really good value for money, you just can't say anything against a falafel wrap for €3. Hummus and plated meals are also great; I've also ordered one of the large party platters for an event. It was also great.
