Always delicious. Batam sandwich/plate in particular is very good and a real alternative to the well-known kebab shops. Simply fresh and delicious with more vegetables than usual, delicious falafel and fried halloumi cheese. Still good.

I recently visited Dunya Imbiss in Cologne and treated myself to a delicious Aland sandwich with shawarma and salad. The restaurant is simply decorated, but the food really impressed me. The taste was authentic, and the portions were more than sufficient. However, I have to say that the service seemed a bit overwhelmed. It took a while before I could place my order and receive my food. Nevertheless, the staff was friendly and attentive. In other reviews, I've read that other visitors also praise the delicious food, but also complain that the service can sometimes be a bit slow. Overall, I would recommend Dunya Imbiss for a quick and tasty snack if you don't necessarily need fast service.

25 minutes for a very meager falafel makali sandwich for six euros. No, the place wasn't full, no idea how that's possible. The falafel was still undercooked, and the whole thing was garnished with one of three ready-made sauces. I won't have to go back.

The food tastes delicious, the best shawarma man in the Agnesviertel. Unfortunately, the amount you get is often a surprise bag, you can be lucky and the shawarma or in my case Anya is well filled, or you can be unlucky and there is almost no or very little content in the shawarma. At 6.50 euros for a large shawarma it's very, very annoying. Addendum from January 4th, 2025: we are now already at 7.50 euros for the large Anya. For the price, the good taste is no longer valid for me, unfortunately it's far too expensive!!!

I am very disappointed. On the one hand, I had to wait 30 minutes for my sandwich because a plate still had to be prepared (to be honest, having to wait 30 minutes in a snack bar is a no-go). When ordering it was said to expect a wait of almost 20 minutes. But either I make sandwiches or platters, both at the same time with one person is inconvenient. I had an Oriental sandwich, it just tasted like cardboard, I was missing salt, the fries were nasty to eat, I only ate half of it because it wasn't tasty.

Super cheap and delicious. The Bres make you a sandwich in a relaxed manner and for €6 for a Dürüm size you simply can't complain. Perfect 👌

I love this place! The food is very authentic! Whenever I invite my friends over or organize a party, I order the big platter and it is so delicious that everyone asks where did I get it from. The best part is that everything is freshly made and the price is super fair. At the end everyone is satisfied and I look like a great host 😅😂 My husband also likes to buy Schawarma for our lunch or Sunday dinners!

I went to "Dunya" for the first time today and had a small shawarma sandwich for €4.00. The taste was quite good. However, in my opinion it could have been a little more filling.

The food was absolutely fantastic! The menu offers a wide selection of dishes, all freshly prepared with high quality ingredients. I tried the LANYA which was perfectly cooked and wonderfully presented. The combination of flavors was outstanding and exceeded my expectations.

A shawarma without the garlic cream is not a shawarma. There was also falafel sauce in it and it wasn't spicy, even though I ordered it that way.

I just received by far the worst and most disgusting shawarma of my life. At the beginning the employee asked for a few minutes to get a delivery ready in the background. When he came back, instead of the meat from the spit, he secretly took some meat from a bowl. It was clear that the meat had been lying down for a long time and was very dry and cold. I kindly pointed it out but was ignored. I tried it and it was so disgusting that I threw it in the garbage can in front of the employees.

There's something quick at hand here. The service is brisk. The sandwich tasted average. Unfortunately the ingredients weren't well distributed, so there was a lot of meat on one side and a lot of salad on the other. The end was not rolled up and therefore the end was rather awkward to eat. Hot sauce tasted like mayonnaise with chili. Taboule instead of hummus was available for an additional 50 cents, which was a shame. What's positive is that the sandwich was toasted. Eaten: Shawarma sandwich

No cream toum with the shawarma or pomegranate sauce with the falafel, a shame! Yoghurt, cocktail-spicy sauce selection unfortunately corresponds more to a mediocre kebab stall. Still tasty, but more delicious sauces please :-)

Guter Falafel-Sandwich im syrischen Brot. Freundliche Bedienung. Preis 4 Euro.

Ich fand das Shawarma Sandwich durchschnittlich. Das Hähnchen war lecker aber trocken. Die Joghurtsauce war auch nur ok. Das Brot war das Highlight, knackig und sehr frisch. Ich habe anhand der Google Rezensionen ehrlicherweise mehr erwartet. Ich habe 15 Minuten für ein Sandwich gewartet. Ich persönlich würde nicht nochmal dort essen, macht euch am besten ein eigenes Bild.

Wenn man Fleisch will, sollte man woanders hingehen, da es so gut wie immer ausverkauft ist. Aber für Vegetarier ist der Laden sehr zu empfehlen.

Ein Laden der sehr unscheinbar aussieht, wenn man sich jedoch die wartende Kundschaft draußen ansieht verrät es einem schon, dass es sich lohnt reinzugehen. Das Essen ist für den günstigen Preis sehr sehr lecker. Man muss nicht lange warten. Es gibt ein großes Angebot an Speisen, ob Falafel, Halloumi oder Fleisch ist alles dabei.

Dunya Imbiss – ich war positiv überrascht. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Die Bedienung war auch sehr schnell. Die Hygiene kann man in Frage stellen, aber gut. Die Preise niedrig. Man darf auch bei größerer Bestellung mit Karte bezahlen. Ich hatte nur Döner und konnte ich nur bar zahlen.

Leckerer Imbiss, viele verschiedene Rollos ob mit Fleisch oder vegetarisch oder als Teller mit fritten zum da essen oder mitnehmen. Nicht abschrecken lassen von dem Laden, wirklich lecker 👍😋

Leider muss ich mich den Rezensionen anschließen, die auf die sinkende Qualität in der letzten Zeit hinweisen. Die Teller stimmen einfach nicht mehr mit den steigenden Preisen überein. Das meiste der Beilage besteht nur noch aus Salat und einer wirklich kleinen Portion Tabboule und man hat das Gefühl es wird an allem gespart. Wenn man nicht genau darauf achtet wie die Sandwiches gemacht werden, kann es auch schonmal passieren, dass in einem Sandwich, das eigentlich mit Halloumi und Fallafel belegt wird nur EINE einzige Fallafel vorkommt! Super Schade wie sich der Laden entwickelt hat.

Sieht zwar nicht immer so sauber aus ist aber lecker und preiswert. Ein Punkt Abzug für lange Wartezeiten.

War früher der Ort für mich, nirgendwo in K schmeckte mir Falafel besser. Leider ist die Qualität nicht mehr vergleichbar. Es wird an Brot, Hummus Tomaten und Soße gespart, obwohl der Preis angehoben wurde. Die Verkaufer haben auch gewechselt, es werden Fehler gemacht, sonderlich freundlich sind die Neuen auch nicht mehr... Super Schade... Hoffe es wird wieder besser.

I really liked the idea of mixed falafel with shawarma. It’s very delicious and stuffing. I don’t think that food is suitable for ones who suffer from gluten free allergy (not really sure didn’t ask) but I am sure that if someone suffers from Laktose intolerance could eat there safely just he/she has to announce that they are not eating milk products. The workers/owners are very friendly. It’s highly recommended to give it a try.

Nettes Team, teilweise etwas unkoordiniert. Je nachdem wer da ist bekommt man unterschiedliche Portionsgrößen in unterschiedlicher Geschwindigkeit. Man sollte seinen Besuch nach der Besetzung planen. Der Laden ist eine 10 von 10. Schawarma schmeckt extrem. Einzigen Kritikpunkten meines Erachtens wären: Brot könnte etwas dünner sein und vielleicht wären ein paar mehr Soßen auch nicht verkehrt. Ansonsten gäbe es nichts großartiges zu bemängeln.

Ich war mit meinem Bruder da und haben für zwei Personen knapp 40€ ausgegeben. Da etwas mehr los war haben die Mitarbeiter in Minutenabständen Fleisch vom Spieß geschnitten…daher bat ich die bisschen zu warten bis das Fleisch etwas durch ist…Wir kamen zuhause an und sehen, dass es nicht durch war…quasi roh! Wir sind überhaupt nicht penibel !!! Wir sind öfters beim Syrer oder Libanesen aber das war einfach widerlich…wir haben 40 € in die Tonne gekloppt und gehen da auch nie wieder hin.

Der Geschmack war echt sehr lecker bestellte Xl aber es qar leider sehr sehr klein. In kalk ist es größer ohne dass es XL ist.. Mmh nicht mal annährend satt geworden schade die anderen hatten echt eine grosse Rolle keine Ahnung warum meine so Mini war !!!:/

Bester Shawarma der mir in Köln bekannt ist. Zum Glück direkt bei mir um die Ecke! Preis Leistung=Top. Find's nur schade, dass die Gewürzgurken durch normale ersetzt wurden.
