The food is simply amazing and always delicious, it's a shame that eating out is neglected during the Corona period, but you have the option of picking up the food from time to time. We treated ourselves to a Sunday dinner. HEAVENLY and plentiful. Highly recommended!

The “Wirthaus zur Weinau” is highly recommended. Very tasty and well prepared dishes. Wonderful atmosphere too. Very friendly and courteous service. Located just outside Zittau. Parking spaces right in front of the inn.

We felt very comfortable. The staff was welcoming. Every wish was fulfilled. The breakfast was prepared with love and fresh fruit.

Wir hatten einen leckeren Brunch, der genau hielt, was wir uns versprochen hatten. Vorab haben wir mit der Erdbeerschänke unsere Wünsche besprocuen, Vorschläge der Köche ebenso. Das Buffet aus Teilen für Frühstück und späteren warmen Komponenten war neben dem eigentlichen Raum mit der Tafel für ca. 30 Gäste aufgebaut, sehr bequem und gemütlich. Zusätzlich gab es die Möglichkeit, frisch bestellte Eierspeisen direkt aus der Küche zu bestellen. Ein rundum gelungener Tag in Wohlfühl Umgebung, darüber hinaus zu fairer Preis-Leistung.

I was a guest at the West Gohlis inn today, May 1st. Unfortunately I was late, but I still got the Wirtshaus schnitzel with potato salad (with cucumbers, peppers and a small tomato). The schnitzel was very tasty, not too thick and tasted just like you would imagine a breaded schnitzel to be. The potato salad was also very good and fresh in taste. I paid €17.90 for the schnitzel and unfortunately I can't remember the price for the 0.4l mineral water. Thank you again for the hospitality,

This place combines good food with a wonderful ambience and a journey through time. We had made a reservation for dinner for 5 people in the castle tower on April 19, 2025 and sat indoors. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the service is friendly and accommodating. The order could be placed quickly. There is a large selection of drinks, the home-brewed beer is particularly recommended. I can only praise and recommend the “ProBierchen” idea - here you can test and enjoy 4 types of beer in small quantities. Whatever tastes best can even be bought in bottles and taken home with you. The outdoor area impresses with a beautiful beer garden and a great view over the town of Auerbach. If that's not enough, you can also climb the historic final tower and learn something about Auerbach's history. The food came after a reasonable wait and was very tasty. The landlord is very friendly and personally checks that everything is going well. We felt very welcome. Thank you for this nice experience. We'd love to come back.
