The food is simply amazing and always delicious, it's a shame that eating out is neglected during the Corona period, but you have the option of picking up the food from time to time. We treated ourselves to a Sunday dinner. HEAVENLY and plentiful. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful evening yesterday! The food was super tasty and was served to us by a very nice waitress👍. Since it was a Thursday (schnitzel day😋), all the schnitzels on the menu were offered for under €15! I would have paid €20 for the delicious “Kurfürsten-Schnitzel” without even batting an eyelid. (Little tip: I just made up for it with the tip I😎) But the best thing was that when we asked by phone, our little miniature pinscher was not only allowed to come along, but was even warmly welcomed! He was even given water and “treats” before we were! 🐕🫡1! Completely fine for us as dog owners and an additional service. Conclusion: As soon as we are close again, we will be back on the mat! I'd rather not do more advertising, otherwise I won't get a place next time 😉!

Very nice garden restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. When the weather is nice you can sit outside very well. The food is delicious and the portions are generous.

We ate here today for mom's birthday. Not the first time because it always tastes very good, the atmosphere is very nice and cozy and the waitresses are also very friendly and attentive. However, we unfortunately notice that the drink prices for 0.4l cherry spritzer are €5.50!!! are very expensive. Lemon tea (fresh lemon in a glass) for €3.20. The location of the restaurant is in a great location in the park and next to the zoo.

Very nice restaurant. Barrier-free access. Nice service staff. Clear menu but also changing daily offerings. TOP ambience inside and outside! Vegan dishes are prepared individually...but there was no rice. Home-style dishes are also TOP. .. very clean and well-kept facility.

I was a guest at the West Gohlis inn today, May 1st. Unfortunately I was late, but I still got the Wirtshaus schnitzel with potato salad (with cucumbers, peppers and a small tomato). The schnitzel was very tasty, not too thick and tasted just like you would imagine a breaded schnitzel to be. The potato salad was also very good and fresh in taste. I paid €17.90 for the schnitzel and unfortunately I can't remember the price for the 0.4l mineral water. Thank you again for the hospitality,

I've been to the castle tower 5-6 times at different times in the last 3 years. Be it at lunchtime, in the evening, inside or outside in the beer garden. Always friendly staff, adequate waiting time for the food to arrive and high quality. Even now on the Easter weekend, when there was a smaller selection, there was actually something for everyone and the sauerbraten was great. The lack of red cabbage was compensated with an extra dumpling. Gladly again at any time.

Great restaurant with good, down-to-earth food. The asparagus dishes are highly recommended.
