Very tasty home-style food in the middle of the allotment garden. Prices are a bit high, but the dishes justify any price. Every dish I've ever eaten there tastes great. The schnitzels are like grandma made and the veal spare ribs are buttery soft. Simply a culinary delight. There is also a good bus connection.

Today, December 15, 24, the restaurant will close permanently. Too bad!

A company outing with 8 people. A wonderful city tour on a balmy early summer day ended at the Lauerturmstüble. Sounds romantic, but it wasn't meant to be. While the young waitress quickly and friendly brought drinks, the "cook" (if we dare to call the frying skills by snack bar standards cooking) seemed to have overslept. A full 90 minutes passed before we received our thoroughly fried frozen food. No sauce, no side dish. That was probably superfluous. Just like salt, pepper, or other seasonings. But who needs that when you're supposed to be up to gas station standards? We'd just expected a little more, something like cooking, and in a reasonable timeframe. Our complaint fell on deaf ears, and we stumbled, somewhat dismayed, towards the train station. A shame, because the ambiance promised more.

We went there for a rehearsal dinner six months ago. We made an appointment and asked several times whether you would be there on the said date and that it was a Tuesday. The boss himself assured us that they were there and that we should contact us again two weeks in advance to choose the menu. 2 weeks before the planned date he remembers that they aren't there and he is at a birthday party. This is highly unprofessional! And we were assured several times beforehand, including by the boss himself, that they were there. Two weeks before our wedding we would have to look for a new location that still had capacity for the day and the number of guests.

Good food, warm welcome... nice staff... out of 3 meals only the chicken strips were cooked too long... was too firm... everything else was great
