There is delicious Swabian cuisine here. We enjoyed it very much. The boss and the waitress were very friendly and attentive. We felt comfortable and can recommend the Schättere 100%

Original German cuisine with a nice selection. The kitchen is quick and the staff is friendly but a little listless. It's not so well lit in the restaurant in the evening and there is a certain smell. The sanitary facilities are a little outdated, but still reasonably clean. The outside terrace is great.

Only recommended. Innkeepers, food and ambience are unique!

You feel very safe and like you are in a big family even though you are a stranger. Just great !!!

Nice hotel with good restaurant

In a closed room with simulated windows. The service was first class!

Liebloses Essen wie in der Imbissbude. Schnitzel mit Pommes 15,- Euro. Kein Salatblatt als Garnitur. Das Auge isst bekanntlich mi. Zudem, die Pommes waren zu salzig und das Schnitzel zu fad. Und wenn ich dann mal rechne: Eine Portion Pommes kostet 4,- Euro, somit hat das fade schmeckende TK-Schnitzel 11,- Euro gekostet. Der Victoria Salat meiner Frau war auch aus der Großhandelspackung mit einem Fertigdressing drüber. Geschmacklich war da nirgends ein Highlight. Außer dann gerechnet bei den Preisen. Letzhin waren Bekannte dort und hatten Currywurst und Kässpätzle. Geschmacklich beides auch der Reinfall. Hier sollte sich der Inhaber mal Gedanken machen, ob das auf Dauer wohl so weiter funktioniert. Da geh ich das nächste Mal lieber wieder in die Pizzeria oder such mir nen Biergarten mit gutem Essen.

The gentleman with brown hair and glasses at the water stand has aggression problems and should see a therapist. I don't know what he's trying to prove with his aggressive behavior, but things like that usually backfire badly :-P but yes, you can gosh behind the counter ;-)
