We ate here on the way to our destination. We loved it and I loved the Kartoffelsalat (...and would really like to receive the recipe🙏) Went here again on the way home but unfortunately it was closed. Friendly people.

After many years we were guests here again and it was worth it. The food is solid home cooking, but not overpriced, although not cheap. The goose was great, as was the starter. You could get as many side dishes as you wanted, even if you were really full after the goose, the dumpling and the portion of red cabbage after eating a starter. The wines were a dream, the Malbec (Kaiken) an absolute poem. The waiter and waitress were really very accommodating, we had a nice chat, told one or two anecdotes and received excellent service. The location is also very nice in the forest, not entirely public transport friendly, but you can't have everything. We would love to come back.

Drink a coctail while watching a polo game. Wonderfull place to spend time with friends in a summer evening near Frankfurt with a lot of glamour.

Great, traditional, middle-class restaurant. I was here as part of a Christmas party. The food was excellent and the service was attentive and very friendly. I think it would be great if the forester's lodge was open regularly again soon, as its location is perfect for rounding off a hike.

Nice, tasty and affordable beer garden near the university campus. Here you can linger after work or college with a large glass of cold German beer and a tasty piece of meat or sausage. Meat portions just not a good size. One portion is on the small side, two on the large side.
