It's hard to believe that such authentic Vietnamese cuisine can be found right in the tourist hotspot of Düsseldorf's old town. Super fresh ingredients and preparation, everything tasted originally. Boss Loan's family business is fast, cheerful and warm-hearted. Extra wishes are fulfilled with a smile. We'll definitely come back. Many greetings from Hamburg and see you next time in Düsseldorf!
I would like to give MINUS stars because the food was not completely delivered.
After asking and making several calls, the rest came after 45 minutes.
I was told that we have so much to do, if I forget something I will deliver it straight away.
My verdict
NEVER AGAIN !!!!!
Now they've changed ownership, now they make Tibetan food, they cook...pretty okay? It's hard to say because the food was half burnt and compared to the old place they serve little and are more expensive. Of course, they still use the before photos, but most of these dishes are not served. 7-7
We were passing through with my family and chose this "restaurant" based on the reviews as our children really like Chinese and Thai food. The pasta was pretty tasteless, but the duck tasted good. However, the lady who served us was so unfriendly that in my opinion she shouldn't have any contact with people at all - if you can even call that "service"! It should be clearly stated at the restaurant: pick-up only and telephone orders only! I've never given a bad Google review in my life, but this lady should learn that she'll lose a lot of guests with that kind of attitude.
Unacceptable for the price. The teriyaki sauce was so over-seasoned that you couldn't eat it. The Bun Ca without taste. Dead fried salmon. Vegetables passed the dishes. The sushi was delicious, unfortunately very unsightly. Conclusion, unfortunately never again. It used to be good, it's not anymore.
The staff is super friendly and the food is prepared quickly. Unfortunately, it doesn't taste good at all.
Tried a total of three different things on different days and the sauces are always way too sweet. The portions are also rather small but fill you up.
The food is average for a fast food place. The dishes are freshly prepared and the vegetables still have a bite. The fried noodles, on the other hand, taste like nothing. Unfortunately, the sauces offered with it aren't really that good either.
But what leads to the complete devaluation of this restaurant is the fact that the service is completely inattentive. It has now happened for the third time in a row that I ordered a dish there during my lunch break and it was either forgotten or I received a completely wrong dish after a long wait. You can't speak more clearly than when ordering and repeat 17B. Especially when I corrected again today when the employee repeated the 17D. Regardless of whether it was B or D, it should have been rice noodles. What was put there? A soup. As a result, the lunch break is over or there is too little time to wait for the right dish. Then there's no point in getting the money back. Time and break are gone, but hunger is not. Mistakes can happen, but this is the norm here. And if even correcting an incorrectly repeated addition (B or D) doesn't help and leads to a completely different dish, then after three times it's over. Never again!
I ate here 2/3 years ago and it was very tasty. When I ate there again today it was terrible. There were three of us there. None of us felt well after eating. One headache, one nausea, one heartburn.
It was also prepared differently than ordered.
That was definitely my last visit there.
I threw the food in the trash. From what it looked like, the packaging also had an unpleasant smell. In any case, the pictures look completely different online.
I'm writing in English for everyone to understand:
This restaurant serves the best noodles I've eaten in a while! Full of flavor, comes in a large amount and is also very filling for an empty stomach! 10/10, would recommend anytime 🍜!
