Absolutely a hidden gem if you come to dusseldorf . Everything tastes so fresh and the hospitality is top notch, too! The asian juices are amazing too, especially the mango !

You can go there "once" if you're hungry, it's definitely okay. We've been there a few times. Several seats inside, everything is fine, simple location. There are also seats outside...it's in the party district of Düsseldorf, so it's loud, etc. We're okay with that, everything's fine. The food was delicious, and the portions were large and reasonably priced. Before ordering, we didn't notice the notice stating that payment was only possible by cash. Accordingly, we wanted to pay by card after our meal. Neither of us had any cash with us. At first, we were told that card payments weren't possible, then the waitress suddenly pulled out a card reader and asked us a dozen times whether we had debit cards, because credit card payments weren't accepted. The payment worked perfectly. Strange...

We visited with three friends and ordered the special and the phad thai. It arrived very quickly. The special was very good, but the meat was a bit sparse. I recommend mixing the sauce with the rice. I also had a Tsingtao beer, which was okay. You might want to try it. If you're ever in the area, I recommend checking it out.

The food is OK. The quantity is too small and the price is too high for what it is. Paying by card is a chore. They prefer paying in cash.

The Kaiser roll was really oily, greasy, and disgusting. I really regret eating it! It borders on disrespect. Addition after 5 days: Probably mild food poisoning due to repeatedly reusing old oil (oxidized fat, aldehydes).

The food tastes okay, but the staff aren't friendly and didn't tell us we could only pay in cash. We had to find a convenient place to withdraw money and were treated rudely.

Normally, you'd think an Asian snack bar in this location wouldn't be anything special (tourist zone, long opening hours, etc.), but that's not the case. The snack bar has been around for 35 years, and I was there 18 years ago. The food hasn't changed much since then; there's a small selection of Chinese, Vietnamese (Pho soup, for example), and Thai dishes. Everything you order is delicious; the Thai curry is truly top-notch in terms of flavor. The staff is also very friendly.

It's hard to believe that such authentic Vietnamese cuisine can be found right in the tourist hotspot of Düsseldorf's old town. Super fresh ingredients and preparation, everything tasted originally. Boss Loan's family business is fast, cheerful and warm-hearted. Extra wishes are fulfilled with a smile. We'll definitely come back. Many greetings from Hamburg and see you next time in Düsseldorf!

A Vietnamese restaurant called Chinatown just looks ridiculous. But it is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Duce, certified by Vietnamese. The summer rolls were tasteless, the fried spring rolls (?) and beef pho were delicious, but the bean sprouts were too raw to eat. The service was a bit unprofessional. I ordered two bowls of noodles and I don’t know why only one bowl was served. Can't swipe credit card either There are restrooms in the store. It’s a restaurant that welcomes homeless people. If you don't mind homeless people coming in from time to time while eating. .

Food is good quality, the ingredients look and taste fresh. Great spot for a quick but authentic meal. Be mindful, you can only pay with cash. They don't take any cards.

Just a snack, but nicely done. I think the prices are too high. Especially the drinks. I've known the store since it opened, so it's a bonus star.

I ordered rice with chicken. The chicken had a strong taste of old, burnt oil, and the rice was very greasy. Unfortunately it didn't taste good at all.

Had fried noodles with chicken. The chicken was ok, but I only tried the noodles and they tasted very oily, like they had been fried in old oil. So I hardly ate anything and told the waitress. She didn't seem to want to understand it. Got the full price, which is ok, but an apology would have been nice.

Walked in unexpectedly and had some of the best pho I’ve had in Europe. The Goi Cuon were perfect and the staff was super friendly. Highly recommended.

It is a family business where everyone is nice and very friendly and the service is outstanding. Loan and her family are very warm hosts and we had dinner there two days in a row and enjoyed conversation, good service and friendliness. The food is absolutely authentic and the Pho soup was very good. Cooked for over 7 hours and you can taste it. The restaurant has been in the old town for 35 years. Very tasty, fair prices, quick to prepare and the vegetarian dishes with tofu are often also vegan (e.g. vegan Pas Thai). There are sockets at the seats inside and there are also tables outside.

Good Asian fast food restaurant

I had the Kaiser roll and a Pho Ga. The Kaiser roll was a homemade spring roll and very tasty. The Pho Ga was very aromatic

The food is very, very tasty, the staff is very, very nice. Unfortunately the decor and menu looks like a cheaper Chinese place. But that doesn't do the food justice. The Pho is extremely tasty and the summer rolls are the best we have ever eaten. The staff is happy about every visitor. A little insider tip amidst the strong Asian competition :)

I couldn't try the food because it wasn't delivered. Reachable by phone, but communication is not possible in English or German due to the language barrier. I couldn't even understand whether my food had already been picked up by the delivery service or whether the problem was a missing driver. The restaurant hung up several times during calls and ultimately simply stopped answering the phone. Problems can arise, but ignorance and complete refusal to solve problems are not possible.

Best Phở in Düsseldorf! The broth is very aromatic and always perfectly seasoned, you get fresh coriander, fresh mint, soy sprouts and some sauces on site, so you can add it according to your own taste, which is great for me and my friend, who is also a chef. The staff on site is always super nice :) Whether to order or in the restaurant, we are always very satisfied.

We visited the restaurant after a football game around midnight and consciously chose this restaurant because of the good reviews. According to Google, the restaurant was open until 3 a.m., so we assumed it would be easy to order. However, when we entered we were turned away in a very unfriendly manner: an employee told us in a harsh tone that it was already closed. Disappointed and irritated, we left the restaurant and found an alternative where we received friendly service. What was remarkable was that on the way back we discovered that the restaurant was still open and serving other guests and offering meals. This behavior was not only irritating but also unacceptable from a customer service perspective. It would be desirable if the team treated guests consistently and respectfully.

I went on the trip and there because I saw good reviews. I ordered pho with beef. It was served with separate Kreuter and I have experienced this less and less in Germany, so my expectations were higher at the beginning. I always try the broth without Kreuter first. It was a total flavor enhancer... That's why these shops write big with "homemade, 30-year-old dish..." The meat wasn't fresh and didn't taste good. Noodle was not tasty. No fruit flies come out of the soup when you eat. But something like that happens sometimes. I ate up. It didn't taste good. When I was paying, I saw behind the cash register that the prepared vegetable rolls etc. didn't look fresh. Normally I don't complain about Vietnamese people. But for this price, €14.90 Pho, I should get something better.

Just a quick meal here in the old town. Here we were welcomed by friendly Mini China Town employees. I was surprised to see fresh flowers on the tables. Ordered quickly and received. So quickly WOW. 🤩 Food was also very tasty 😋, VG, thank you 🤩

As a party-hungry little group of men, we visit this gem in the old town every year. The super delicious food, whether as pho soup or as rice with chicken in coconut sauce, combined with a few sobering beers, really gets us going so that we can start the day or evening feeling refreshed. Also highly recommended are the delicious spring rolls, which can be served by the dozen upon special request and of course if you pay accordingly. The boss is very friendly and is happy to help, even when the house is full, if a three-hour hiccup persists (secret recipe: drink ginger tea and Altbier in combination - --> the hiccups are gone!). The rice schnapps is wonderfully mild and downright refreshing. And if you bring a lot of meat with you and have a good time drinking and eating, it can happen that a schnapps is on the house. All in all: Our favorite in Düsseldorf, many thanks to the entire team and see you again soon.

Extremely salted for the third time in a row, so I have no problem with salted food, but unfortunately there is far too much salt here, despite the advice. It's a shame that I really enjoyed eating here, but not again because it's the third time I've paid for a meal that I can't eat.
