Very nice restaurant near the market square in Apolda. The food and dessert are very tasty. Great staff! An absolute recommendation.

A restaurant set in a garden setting. Very good, reasonably priced, home-style food. Smoking is permitted at times. Beer garden.

We were visiting the area and reserved a table based on the menu. The restaurant is super cozy and well furnished. The service was very good and quick despite the full house. We haven't had such a large portion at such a moderate price in years. We had the schnitzel with mushrooms and the slaughterhouse pan. It tasted great and we would love to come back. Absolute recommendation!

We had chicken soup and meatball soup for starters, this was just water with broth My mother only tried one of the main courses and then we left the restaurant without the other main courses being brought to the table. It was gristly and tasted like old meat. The taste of beef is gone. Sorry for that wording, but it was just plain weird.

I'm really disappointed with our visit because we were looking forward to the new opening... The service was... Well... And the food was so obviously inferior that it almost hurt... The "Stramme Max" passed made from packaged cold bread, topped with packaged cheap ham, the fried potatoes were half burnt and the salad was very similar to the cheap bags from the supermarket... My girlfriend wanted the currywurst with fried potatoes instead of fries. This was not possible... The schnitzel was ok and the portions were large but unfortunately that was it. It's a shame actually...

The food was tasty but unfortunately also cold. The service was good. The staff was friendly. However, the ambience was very bad, there were cobwebs everywhere and the chair covers were dirty. I don't even want to start talking about the toilet. It smelled and was very dirty. I found a lot of dust there too.

After a while I got another kebab and I have to say that €7 wasn't worth it this time. Meat cold, bread thin, not crispy and soggy. I also have to say that the taste was not great this time. It's a shame... Someday again, maybe it'll be better again... Otherwise no complaints

Whenever we visit Apolda, we order pizza (it's almost mandatory). Today we went straight to the pizzeria for the first time. And we weren't disappointed! The service person was extremely courteous and friendly and immediately offered to order “half pizzas”. No sooner said than done. After a short time the drinks arrived and then the pizzas, which actually tasted even better “fresh from the oven” than they already do when they are delivered. We will definitely come back!

Unfortunately the worst kebab in Apolda, it tastes sour. I only give the 2 stars because of the nice supplier & because the delivery time was always right.
