My wife and I wanted to have dinner at Schweizer Haus around 6 p.m. on Friday evening. We planned to sit in the beer garden. To be on the safe side, I popped in and let them know we'd be sitting outside. The succinct reply: "No service outside today – it might rain." Okay, I can understand. When I then asked if we could sit at one of the free tables inside, all I got was: "You'd have to make a reservation." And that was it. From then on, we were ignored – no offer, no friendly word, no alternative. Simply fobbed off. If a restaurant can afford to treat guests this way, then it clearly has no interest in its customers. Friendliness and service certainly don't look like that. For us, that was the end of the matter – very disappointing.
