We came here on recommendation and have no regrets. The restaurant is very quiet but easily accessible on the edge of town. A large parking lot right in front of the restaurant saved us the hassle of searching for a table. We received a friendly welcome and were shown to our table. After making a reservation by phone, we were given a table by the window. The staff proved to be very attentive and friendly throughout the evening. The menu is just right, long enough for everyone to find something and short enough to feature fresh ingredients. The dishes we ordered were also of high quality, and the welcome from the kitchen was warm and delicious. I took photos of the starters. Later, I had Wiener Schnitzel, and my companions had entrecote. We were very satisfied.
The Aroma starter platter is an aromatic dream, the grilled aubergines are out because of the strong roasted aroma, but everything else is perfect, the beetroot, the vitello tomato, the prepared vegetables: mushrooms, mozzarella and tomato, peppers are excellent. That's why 4 stars for that alone. Good Italian wine is served. There are “original” carbonaras. There are of course much more. The committed owners and employees impress with Italian joie de vivre and enjoyment. I can only recommend everyone from Norderstedt to stop there.
Unfortunately, you've really let down your guard. Prices have increased, but quality hasn't.
I've been a customer for a long time, but you've screwed up. Salad for 10 euros, with nothing but lettuce leaves and a few extras...should be a chef's salad.
Delivery is always fast, but even then...fast isn't always an advantage. 🍕 And the burgers aren't as good as they used to be.
The sushi here is really first class and, above all, reliable and ready on time at the agreed time. We prefer to pick things up here rather than have others deliver them to us. Always my pleasure!
The spring roll may be large, but it's two tiny cubes of chicken in a mass of white cabbage. Otherwise, it's like you'd find in any other Asian restaurant. Lots of batter, but not much in it. Cheap meat, softeners, and a service that has nothing to do with comfort.
I first visited Tunici in Norderstedt with my family on December 28, 2024, for my 75th birthday, as I haven't been living in the north of Hamburg for long. The dining room has an appealing ambiance, which I really liked. We sat in a niche, somewhat separated from the rest of the spacious dining room by plants. It wasn't busy, and we were served promptly. The food was appetizingly presented and tasted good.
This positive impression prompted my daughter and me to have my grandson's confirmation dinner there in May 2025. So, several weeks before the confirmation, my daughter went to Tunici again to discuss it. The staff member in charge declined to pre-prepare a menu for our group of 9-11 people. So, the only option was à la carte. My daughter booked a table for that date.
My daughter mentioned that she would be keen to sit in this lovely alcove again, if possible, as it was a suitable size and the number of people. The opposite window side of the dining room, where a group had sat during our visit in December 2024, which I also considered a family celebration, was also an option, which my daughter also mentioned when ordering.
On Sunday, May 11, 2025, after the church service, we arrived at Tunici's parking lot. It was completely full. We assumed there was an event taking place at the HSV sports field and looked for parking spaces on the street. When we entered the restaurant, the restaurant was also completely full, which I wholeheartedly apologise for.
We asked where we should sit, and an employee led us through a corridor into an adjacent building. Here we entered a dreary hall that resembled a train station restaurant for travelers. Here, too, all but one table was occupied. A table was set for us along a wall, not far from the entrance door. While we waited for our drinks and the food we ordered from the menu, and also while we were eating, some guests left the hall or new ones arrived, all passing close to our table. To get to the restroom, you had to go through a glass door and down the stairwell into the basement, to the changing rooms and restrooms of the sports facility. On the way back, I noticed that the door to the hall was jammed. One of our guests couldn't even open it from the outside. All in all, I didn't really like this setting for a family celebration. The room was cluttered and the look was anything but cozy. I believe it would have been good service for the host to reserve one of the two tables in the restaurant my daughter had mentioned for us, given that we had made an advance reservation.
For the reasons mentioned above, we didn't last very long at Tunici's.
It's a shame, though. I live in a senior living facility not far from the Tunici restaurant, and my roommates and I enjoy going out for fancy meals. But I don't think I'll recommend Tunici Norderstedt.
Friendly staff, food is delicious and varied. You can always get a table without registering or waiting. The furnishings are a bit “dated”. Individual requests are taken into account.
Hello, the prices seem fair, I like that. Apparently one of the few remaining praiseworthy providers who doesn't fill their pockets in this situation. Keep it up, may your concept last a long time and be in demand. All the best to you and the company.
A very small and, above all, cozy restaurant, very nice interior design! The service was incredibly friendly and tried to make sure we were fine. Beforehand there was delicious white bread with garlic dip and olives on the house. Afterwards we had the steak carbonara and a pizza salami. Nothing to complain about, it tasted very good. The pasta was aldente, the beef strips tender, and the perfect amount of sauce. 😊
