The quality of the food is really great, everything is fresh and at affordable prices. Top address for lunch.

We stayed at the hotel for a weekend with two nights. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious but a bit sterile. There were no hooks to hang up damp ski clothes. The house was probably renovated some time ago. But it is definitely not a four star hotel. We couldn't use the sauna because it was only available to order and the times were not adhered to. The breakfast was good, but the room was too small for a fully booked house. And one coffee and tea machine is far too little for all guests. Our dinner was tasty, but overall too expensive.

Very small, quaint restaurant, the service was okay and the ambience was appropriate for the restaurant but you shouldn't look closely (a bit dusty). Unfortunately we discovered that the mayonnaise and ketchup packets had been expired for almost a year!! There was an apology but that was it. Unfortunately I can't understand the positive stars...

We were in the Waldschenke a year ago and are planning to go on a family hike in the great surroundings again in the spring. We are looking forward to stopping by the Waldschenke and looking forward to the friendly staff and the delicious dishes. Frank from Leipzig

Beautiful hall to celebrate during the Geisinger carnival. Well furnished.

I deleted my old description because there are now new (Czech) operators. The original (probably right-wing extremist) operator has given up the restaurant. Therefore, I am adjusting my rating and will write about it again on my next visit.

Better look for another restaurant. The restaurant was almost empty, but all of the guests were annoyed and told by the waitress that they had to make a reservation in advance. Some of the cutlery was dirty and dead spiders on the windowsill were part of the decoration. Ready-made food from the freezer is served, the frozen schnitzel wasn't even completely hot inside. For this price, a clear non-recommendation.
