We were here at the restaurant for a buffet meal. We had booked a table.
The restaurant was very well attended.
The food selection was very diverse. Everything tasted very good, but we couldn't try everything. That couldn't be done.
Thanks to the kitchen and service staff.
We would love to come back.
Overall impression: not bad, but could be better.
The small salad for 7 euros came with dried out carrot salad.
The pork steak for 20 euros was good, but the chanterelle sauce (chanterelles in winter???🤔) was quite salty. The vegetables and potato wedges were cool and very greasy, as if they had been fried and forgotten to dry off the excess fat. The wine in the restaurant is good, I recommend it.
Had the worst kebab box I've ever eaten in my life in this store today. I HAD to throw half of it away because the stomach pain had already started. Doner meat had an absolutely indefinable taste... Fries were so limp that you would think they had been soaked in water. Sauce was what felt like salad mayonnaise.?! If there were 0 stars, this store would more than deserve it!!!
My recommendation: PLEASE bring your money if you're hungry for a real kebab, e.g. to Royal Burger & Chicken (also in Sangerhausen)
I actually don't know what possessed me to get something to eat in this store...🥲
We were in the restaurant at the beginning of December 25th! The 7 of us were all thrilled! The food was great, the service was very nice and accommodating, the ambience (fireplace was on!) was great and the location is unique anyway.
We'll definitely be back!
Had a very tasty lunch today. There were 9 people, everything was delivered great and the service was nice. PRICES completely okay and justified. Anyone who complains here has no idea about fresh food. Keep it up.
On the way south from Sangerhausen I was looking for a good kebab. This one was rated 4.5 stars, so I thought "give it a try."
The ambience for a “village kebab snack bar” is certainly completely okay. The service was very nice, you can't complain here either!
The kebab wasn't the worst in terms of taste, but it wasn't anything special and didn't stand out from the crowd. So I don't know why a total of 4.5 stars was given here. But perhaps in Sangerhausen and the surrounding area the kebab taste is generally on a lower level.
It's already rumbling in my stomach - which I would like to blame on the kebab sauce. I'm guessing there were sweeteners in this - I can't tolerate them. And they don't belong in a good kebab sauce. In general, the manufacturer of the meat skewers and lists of ingredients were not displayed in the restaurant itself, nor was there a list of ingredients for the kebab sauces anywhere. You can usually find something like this in a decent kebab shop. I even think that it is now mandatory to declare something like this.
