We had very friendly service who did a good job. The food selection was also very good. Only the manager's tone is so rude that she forgets herself in it. I don't know if she can afford to ask guests to read, but it's an advantage. She should consider that it's the guests who make her money.

The cake 🍰 is extremely delicious, the coffee tastes great too and the service is friendly, helpful and attentive.

It's beautiful; you can sit on the terrace overlooking the pond, which is relatively large and ideal for swimming and pedal boating. The service was very quick and friendly, and the cake was excellent.

It's a shame that in such a great setting...a view of the lake...you get served such awful food. The service was generally very nice, but they must have realized when they received the food from the kitchen that something like that shouldn't be served. We had three schnitzels Hamburg-style, one with fries and the other with fried potatoes. The fried potatoes were mostly completely burnt (some were arranged so cleverly that the worse side was on the bottom). Only a few weren't burnt, and the onions were just black. The schnitzel was greasy, and the schnitzel with fries was also partially black. And we're not talking about roasted ingredients here. Being told at the end that you're paying for one less drink was something you could have done without. Absolutely not recommended.

I can definitely recommend this café. We had an ice cream sundae here. The service was friendly. You can sit outside for a lovely meal. It's important to note that cash only, no card payments are accepted. Make sure you get a seat. We missed this sign. Unfortunately, there are limited parking spaces directly at the café.

A wonderful place to eat, drink cappuccino 💖, unwind, take a walk, ride a pedal boat, snack on delicious cakes, and enjoy great fish and meat dishes... There's a bus stop and a horse mooring right next to the restaurant..😊. Located right next to the road, yet a place to rest and dream. We were able to stay there for a few days, and everything was perfect for us!! Thank you for all the wonderful ideas! 💖 There's a mine nearby with daily tours and visits.

Delicious ice cream sundaes, tasty schnitzel, reasonable prices, and very friendly staff. Plenty of parking, an idyllic location in the forest by the lake, and a beautiful view of the lake from the outdoor area. In summer temperatures, you can even go swimming right by the lake. We'd be happy to go again 👍

Simply delicious, thank you so much... highly recommended. My daughter and I were absolutely thrilled with the Champion Schnitzel. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to try the delicious cake selection, although we were absolutely captivated by the rose cake (we'll definitely try it again). The service was super friendly and uncomplicated... just how we like it.

The Restaurant am Kunstteich is a little pearl in the Harz, with always friendly staff (I've been there 5 times with my father so far). You can have lunch, coffee (with homemade cakes and tarts) and ice cream here. This time I had the Brussels sprout fillet pan and my father had the brawn with fried potatoes (which he always uses - he just loves them ☺️). My food was good overall, and together with the small homemade raw food plate, the quantity was also completely sufficient. I'm already looking forward to the next visit and the changing daily menu. P.S.: The 5 star for service is given as soon as card payment is possible.

You should go on the weekend and when the weather is nice and book in advance, because then the last place is full and you will be directed to the kiosk. Family celebrations can be organized very well there. Food tastes very good.

A place for every season. Especially since after a delicious café visit, you can take a great walk around the artificial pond. Be sure to reserve for the weekend.

We were in the restaurant at the beginning of December 25th! The 7 of us were all thrilled! The food was great, the service was very nice and accommodating, the ambience (fireplace was on!) was great and the location is unique anyway. We'll definitely be back!

A forest café/restaurant in a really beautiful location with consistently hot food and reliable opening times. There are many hiking opportunities in the area through the beech forest. Attractive indoor and outdoor areas. The restaurant is regularly visited by the local population. My lunch was okay, but it wasn't enough for 5 points.

It was quite full, but we didn't have to wait long and it was absolutely delicious, both my pike perch and the other people's ice cream sundaes and my cake afterwards. We'd love to come back!

Unfortunately we couldn't get a seat, questions about reservations were rejected. Therefore no assessment is possible. Staff seemed very stressed even though there were enough staff to be seen.

Unfortunately we only used the outside area. But the bistro area was also well organized and the food was good.

Unfortunately, the older waitress didn't feel like working, let alone serving her guests in a friendly manner. Dogs were allowed but beware of them moving or breathing loudly. Originally we wanted to have dinner but due to the negative attitude of the waitress we lost our appetite and so we left quickly, not without making our opinion known. Very unfortunate...

Due to my poor German, I quickly received information about where I could have a meal, after a while the waitress took the order, the Kōstrißer Pils beer was delicious, we had to wait a while for the pork chop with fries and a portion of salads, it was ok.

I don't know if we came on a bad day but... All the dishes were dirty. The milk from the coffee was bad After being informed, the coffee was exchanged immediately. However, the bad milk was simply dumped away and new ones were poured on top. The yellow edges of the old milk were also visible in the new jug. The cake was already slightly hard and not at all tasty. The ice cream was OK. Nothing special, but again the glasses were dirty. Tips are accordingly flat. Accordingly also the “nice” farewell from the waitress. Never again 🙂

View of the lake is outstanding. The rest is expandable. Music was too loud and inappropriate. Food was mediocre, salad was more of a decoration and too expensive. Service disgraceful. Unfortunately we cannot recommend it any further.

Nice cafe and restaurant on the Karst hiking trail. Ideal for stopping off and taking a break. We also have small dishes, ideal for hikers who don't want to eat so much because they want to hike further.

Four people at lunchtime on Whit Monday without a reservation. We were warmly greeted at the entrance. From the start we felt welcome and comfortable. The service was very courteous and friendly. We were asked again and again if everything was okay. The food (schnitzel pan/zander) tasted very, very tasty. Many thanks to the whole team

Great location with a view of the artificial pond. On warm days, the terrace invites you to linger. Service very friendly and attentive, the food is delicious. There is a wide range of cakes and ice cream. There is a separate snack bar for short stops. Afterwards you can enjoy nature on a walk around the pond.

What a beautiful place. Then there are nice rooms for a cozy get-together and wonderfully delicious cakes, pastries, tarts... So delicious that I can never decide. But in the summer it's easier for my boys. Outside, pasta with goulash and ice cream. Or fries and ice cream. Or sausage and ice cream. There are so many options here. What a beautiful place!

It's nice and cozy here and invites you to linger and relax. The beer garden tempts you to linger a little longer in summer. A beautiful view of nature over the lake - wonderful. The food was very good and the price was right. Thank you to the friendly staff for a lovely stay.

Hallo zusammen. Ich war jetzt am überlegen ob 5 oder 4 Sterne aber ich musste einen abziehen da es wirklich kalt im Restaurant war. Frau und Tochter mussten selbst beim Essen noch die Jacke anlassen. Es wurde dann nach und nach wärmer, aber wenn 11 Uhr geöffnet wird sollte doch schon vorher eine angenehme Wärme im Gasthaus herrschen. Das war aber auch der einzige Kritik Punkt. Bitte vorher anrufen und reservieren. Wir hatten es nicht gemacht und hatten Glück das noch ein Tisch frei war. 😁 Das Restaurant hat wirklich eine Top Lage und es ist alles ordentlich und gepflegt. Im Gastraum fühlt man sich auch gleich recht wohl. Freundlich wurden wir empfangen und die Getränke kamen auch recht flott. Die Speisekarte bietet eine Vielzahl von Angeboten und es gibt auch eine Karte mit Tagesangeboten. Wir haben ca 30 min auf das Essen gewartet was eine super Zeit ist. Das Essen wie auf den Bildern zu sehen hat super geschmeckt. Ein Lob an die Küche. Es war auch ausreichend um satt zu werden. Preis Leistung hat super gepasst. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wenn wir wieder dort in der Nähe sind vorbei kommen.

In meiner Kindheit habe ich einen großen Teil meiner Ferien am Kunstteich verbracht. Die Idylle, der Reiz von hier die Wälder rundherum zu erkunden hat sich bis heute nicht verändert. Was in meiner Kindheit nur ein kleiner Kiosk war, ist jetzt das Café und Restaurant geworden. Freundliche Bedienung, sehr leckeres Essen und ein gutes Angebot an Kuchen kann man hier finden. Essen und dabei die Aussicht über den Kunstteich sind auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung wert.

Gutes Essen in herrlicher Natur

Das Restaurant liegt am Kunstteich und ist eine Empfehlung wert. 👍 Nettes Personal, gutes Angebot an appetitlich angerichtete Speisen und Eisspezialitäten 🍨. Eine große Auswahl an Torten 🎂 ist auch vorhanden. Eine über dachte Terrasse lädt länger zum Verweilen, mit Blick auf den Teich, ein.

Wir haben ein paar Tage im Fass gebucht. Ein tolles Erlebnis, obwohl wir schon ü60 sind. Recht komfortabel und sehr schön. Platz hat man auch und man kann aus dem Fass fast direkt ins Wasser. Die Ausstattung ist gut, man muss natürlich alles was man essen möchte mitbringen. Aber fürs Mittagessen und Abendessen empfehle ich die tolle Gaststätte 50 m entfernt, mit Blick auf den See . Ein super nettes Team verwöhnt einen und das Essen ist sehr, sehr gut. Täglich leckere Tagesgerichte nach Hausmannskost auf hohem Niveau. Von hier aus kann man schöne Tagestouren machen und den wunderschönen Südharz genießen. Empfehlenswert ist das Rosarium in Sangerhausen. Einfach mal buchen und genießen. Danke an das gesamte Team! Ach, fast vergessen: die WC und Duschanlage ist top! Zwar ein paar Schritte entfernt, aber sehr gut gemacht und super sauber!
