We were there for Christmas dinner today and unfortunately totally disappointed. The food was oversalted and inedible... more plates than food, carelessly prepared. And for 24 euros... half raw goose breast. As compensation, the dessert was free, which didn't improve the mood.
A real gem – five stars are far from enough!
This restaurant is simply a dream. As soon as you enter, you can feel the special, charming old ambience - as if you were immersed in another time. It's really rare to see such attention to detail.
The food? Absolutely perfect! Every course was a delight – fresh, tasteful and prepared with real passion. And all of this at a price that is more than fair. The price-performance ratio here is 100%. If you are looking for a special experience, this is the right place for you. I'll definitely be back - and would love to give it ten stars!

Today I had by far the best fries on my kebab plate that I have ever eaten in Dessau!
All the vegetables there are deliciously marinated and not just chopped, the sauces were very light and well seasoned.
Oh yes, the meat, as it should be and in huge quantities, almost too much ;).

We used to love going there because the food always looked great on the plate and tasted delicious, but unfortunately, we haven't been recommending it for a while now. Every chef cooks differently, and back then it was a tall one with dark hair and a very nice guy who you could tell loved his job. But recently we were very disappointed again. The food looked as if it had just been thrown onto the plate, and you could tell that the very nice waitress was uncomfortable serving the food. Then the chef came out, so we think it was him. He was a bit stocky with a kind of pigtail (he smoked a cough and sniffed), which was absolutely impossible to hear during the middle of the meal. We've tried it for the last time and won't be coming back. It's a shame what has become of Haus Kühnau. Best wishes, the Groschopf family

Update!!! I currently take back the warm thing. A waitress can screw everything up. Congratulations! I'll calm down first, otherwise things would escalate here. Kind regards to your dart players, since when do you insult guests? To the owner T.W., I'm open to a conversation and I know that good staff is hard to come by. Even a slightly rough tone in the Sporti isn't a bad thing, but I don't let it get to me. I am a GUEST and wanted a second beer!!! Without the hint... oh what nonsense. I would like to have a conversation Mr. T.W.
We were in the hall in private company and felt completely comfortable. From the initial agreement, to the buffet, to the catering. We found value for money to be very good and feasible. Big praise to the kitchen and the service team. All guests were satisfied.
