Stammhaus Dessau in Dessau-Roßlau

The atmosphere is absolutely fantastic and charming. The architects and installers of the original furnishings did everything right! Unfortunately, the food is completely bland, and some of the ingredients are of cheap quality. Since we eat very well at other restaurants quite often, the difference is striking. I'm sorry to say that this was our third attempt to try the menu at the original restaurant. I simply miss that spontaneous "delightful" feeling that would burst out of me if the food were delicious.

We went to the main restaurant in Dessau for the first time with colleagues and had a really lovely evening. The atmosphere was very cozy and the food was delicious. We were especially pleased to find classics like mustard eggs and Königsberger Klopse (meatballs in a white sauce), dishes you usually only get from your mother's kitchen. The service was attentive and friendly. The restaurant is easy to find, and there's parking right there. All in all, it was a perfect evening for us!

The ambiance is fine. You can't go wrong with the drinks. The food, however, is awful. Uninspired. Cold. Tasteless. The worst fries I've ever had. Any air fryer could do better. Overall, not worth the price. It's a real shame about the location. It needs some real restaurateurs and chefs with heart.

Great atmosphere with Berlin charm! A slightly different menu with dishes you'd normally have to search for (Hoppelpoppel)! And well-matched wines – perfect! I'll definitely be back!

We ended up there by chance, the food was okay, the service was courteous, but it's a golfer's location, which takes some getting used to for civilians.

A true gem – five stars are far from enough! This restaurant is simply a dream. As soon as you enter, you sense the special, charming, old-world ambiance – as if you've stepped back into another era. You rarely see such attention to detail. The food? Absolutely perfect! Every course was a delight – fresh, flavorful, and prepared with real passion. And all at a price that's more than fair. The value for money is 100% spot on. If you're looking for a special experience, this is the place for you. I'll definitely be back – and I'd love to give it ten stars!

The food is plentiful, very tasty, and absolutely worth the price. The ambiance is unique, quiet, with lots of greenery, comfortable seating, and the service is fast, polite, and attentive! We'd happily return!

There were five of us eating there. The only really good thing was the atmosphere. One of the two servers was mostly busy going outside for a smoke. We had to wait quite a while for our food. And then it wasn't anything special... We had to wait almost 15 minutes for an extra portion of sweet potato fries. And when they arrived, they were lukewarm and sticky... What a shame...

The ambiance is fantastic! The interior is from the Grand Hotel Berlin and has been incorporated into the Junkers building. A cool idea. The menu therefore consists of a combination of regional and Berlin dishes. So I ordered a currywurst. Unfortunately, it was just like a fast food joint. Warmed ketchup with curry powder! Horrible. For €10, you'd expect homemade curry sauce. The sausage itself and the fries weren't any better. Clearly, the quality is lacking. It only gets three points for the friendly staff.

I went there for dinner with my girlfriend last night and we really liked the atmosphere. The service was very friendly and the food was very tasty. I can only recommend this restaurant.

Had dinner at the main building yesterday and it was very tasty. The service was friendly and very accommodating. The terrace is beautiful. It's just a wonderful place to sit in the green. Always happy again!

Very nice atmosphere in the outdoor area. Nice service and delicious food. Extra requests were also fulfilled. Clear recommendation if you want to have a nice meal in Dessau.

We can't complain about this house. No matter whether the “Hugo” or the main building. Excellent ambience, very nice and professional service. A house for special occasions. Wir waren zum 2. Mal hier. Ein ganz tolles Ambiente und sehr nettes Personal mit einem super Fachwissen . Essensangebot ist zwar übersichtlich aber sehr lecker. Und wenn jemand schreibt, die Portionen sind zu klein, frag ich mich was derjenige erwartet . Die Menge ist absolut ausreichend. Ich möchte genießen und nicht stopfen auf Masse. Urgemütlich im gleichzeitig edlem Ambiente! Speisen und Getränke ausgezeichnet! Das Personal zuvorkommend und sehr flink! Ein Ort, an dem man einen schönen Abend verbringen kann! Veranstaltungen mit Livemusik unbedingt besuchen! Tolle Atmosphäre!

Wir waren am 18.12.19 mit 4 Personen hier . Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich mit anderen Worten sehr wenig Gerichte . Haben sehr lange auf das Essen gewartet . Geschmacklich war das Essen nichts und sehr kleine Portionen . Der Preis war überteuert . Wir sind hungrig aus der Gaststätte raus gegangen . Nicht zu empfehlen .

Wir waren am Wochenende mit Freunden da und es war ein sehr gemütlicher und schöner Abend. Der Service war sehr nett und besonders toll fand ich die Auswahl an Gin und Rum. Und die Bouletten war echt toll. Gern wieder

Wir waren jetzt schon zweimal im Stammhaus. Einmal zu zweit und einmal mit 7 Personen. Und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Essen - super lecker! Service - sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Tolles Ambiente!

Wir waren heute zu 6. im Stammhaus. Man muss sagen das Essen war wirklich gut soweit. Die Wartezeit war imenz lang. Getränke, da haben wir gute 30 Minuten gewartet. Und auf das Essen auch. Auf Käsekuchen mit Blaubeersahne ca. 45 Minuten. Personal war sehr freundlich und hat sich mehrmals entschuldigt das es so lange dauert, es sei nur 1 Koch da, dieser muss auch das Hugo's Steakhouse bekochen. Sie seien in der Testphase. Sorry aber dann darf ich mit nur 1 Koch nicht eröffnen. Unser Freund hat eine Linsensuppe bestellt, diese hat ca. 45 Minuten gebraucht, eh sie auf dem Tisch stand. Linsen und Kartoffeln waren noch hart und sie war sehr wässrig. Wir haben als Wiedergutmachung ein Getränk aufs Haus bekommen. Auf die Rechnung haben wir auch gute 30 Minuten gewartet. Es war gut besucht, vor allem das Hugo. Aber 1 Koch eben zu wenig.
