Hello, what does “getting old” mean? We ALWAYS ate very well there. We also took the homemade bread (= homemade in a stone oven!!!, where else can you get that???) home with us after dinner for all of our relatives. We live in Emmersweiler and still go there often, simply because it is second to none. Unfortunately for various reasons this is no longer possible😔 It can be recommended without any ifs and buts!!! I always like to take a little break there. The whole thing is due to the delicious food, which is prepared with a lot of love by the landlady. Enjoy a cozy cold beer in the rustic restaurant or in the summer in the beer garden right by the fish pond. The landlady understands her job and runs the fishing hut with a lot of passion. Everyone is welcome and welcome here.

There is a buffet with everything your heart desires, some even unusual delicacies. The staff is very attentive and friendly. You can even have your choice of meat, fish, seafood and vegetables prepared with one of four sauces provided. In addition to an assortment of ice cream, there are all soft drinks, tea, coffee, cocoa, beer and homemade lemonades. Everything included in the price of €27 per person. I like to go here with my partner because he likes to eat and drink a little more often and I (don't have that much money) can easily invite him here. The atmosphere is also very cozy. There is even a small fish pond a little further back. My partner and I feel very comfortable and well looked after here. ❤️🥰😍☺️

The worst Asian duck I've ever eaten. So dry that you could have just used the breading

Inconspicuous but super tasty. Above all, the homemade additional sauce on the salad left an impression (light Magginote or soy sauce, we didn't ask but unfortunately it was cool 😀) You can choose from veal or chicken. We ate there and were very satisfied. The gentleman behind the counter seemed annoyed but I'll leave it at "it seemed" 😉

Unfortunately it's not as long as it used to be

We have now ordered pizza twice. You couldn't taste the actual pizza because of all the oregano. Ham, mushrooms and pepperoni sausage, even the pineapple on the Hawaiian pizza couldn't be tasted.

No matter what we order, vegetarian or with meat, everything is delicious and fresh

The driver is really nice and I'm always happy to give him a tip. Food came quickly. Pizza is 3/10. It doesn't taste great, it's more reminiscent of a pizza kit from a discount store with toppings.
