Die besten Restaurants in Ransbach-Baumbach

I have driven past it several times and have now had the opportunity to eat here twice. From the outside, the restaurant, as part of the town hall, appears more inconspicuous than the inside. Elegantly and modernly furnished, everything looks very harmonious and modern. The menu is short and clear, but surprises with great creations or new interpretations. All of this comes at a price, but the dishes and drinks are worth the price. I would recommend the restaurant again and again. However, I also have a few points of criticism: The open room and table design creates an enormous background noise when the room is at full capacity. This is unpleasant in the long run and very tiring in larger groups. And secondly, it is inappropriate for a restaurant in “Kannenbäckerland” to serve dishes from a British manufacturer. Sorry, that doesn't work at all. Why isn't there anything local on the tables here!?

I ordered pasta balognese and ate there. There wasn't much pasta on the plate, but there was too much Balognese and the Balognese wasn't tasty. I read it out loud, it costs 10/11 euros. And asked for Coke. They brought cola in a small glass. Since I couldn't finish it because of the sausage, I asked for another small pizza with olives, pepperoni and meat. They brought pizza, the pizza was inedible, there was almost no oil, the olives and pepperoni weren't fried either, they tasted like meat. I asked for the bill and they said 30 euros. The maximum was probably 20-22 euros. And because of the food and these prices, I can't recommend it and won't go there again myself...

It was very good, the portions were large, we were satisfied with a kebab and it was very good.

Es ist hier immer einen Besuch wert, man sollte allerdings reservieren, da das Cava D‘oro wie es mittlerweile heißt sehr fit besucht ist. Die griechische Karte ist lecker. Ich hatte das Gyros mit Calamari. Sehr lecker und reichlich. Als Bier zum Essen gibt es hier Krombacher vom Fass. Bei gutem Wetter gibt’s eine schöne Terrasse und für die Kinder eine Spieleecke.
