One thing you have to say to the team, everything was really great. The food was truly breathtaking. The portion was mega! My first time and I will come again and again. The owner and the bartender are a great team. The cocktails why great. Always so beautiful please! Waiters are great!

A very nice restaurant with super friendly staff. You can also give a new restaurant the opportunity to develop, which is why I cannot understand the rating below. For me, when the service team or the restaurateur greets their guests or family members and has a short conversation with them, this is part of hospitality. What I really appreciate is when things are kept as family-like as we found it here at DIONYSOS. The quality of the food was really delicious. We had a bifteki and a souvlaki. The meat was very tasty and not too dry. Very juicy and of good quality. The dessert was a dream, really a pleasure. Then we tried another cocktail and it was more than convincing. Nicely served and decorated, great atmosphere. Music is great at a pleasant volume, the super nice owner sometimes comes to the table and asks if everything is ok. Nice service team, which of course still needs some practice, but they try to take all wishes into account. Thank you, we will definitely be back and can only warmly recommend the DIONYSOS restaurant. Many thanks to EVERYONE, the service team, bartenders, owners, kitchen. The friendliness, the quality of the food, the serving of the drinks/food, the atmosphere, the table decorations. Everything is right here. Keep doing the same.

Service leaves a lot to be desired, no one asks if you would like to order anything else. The service staff prefer to spend their time chatting with obvious acquaintances who are guests. The table wasn't cleared for ages after dinner. And this despite the fact that the restaurant was not very busy. The food is mediocre and nothing special. Portions manageable. The prices are not justified.

Absolutely anti-dog! We often go out to eat, but I've never experienced anything like this! I had my 3 kilo Yorkshire Terrier with me and the daughter of the house told us in a rather unfriendly way that there were customers who were allergic and this was against her rule?! Then you'll be happy to spend your money somewhere else!

Today, after a visit to the Montabaur Outlet, we spontaneously went to the Cavo Doro restaurant. Although not reserved and busy, we were immediately given a table for two. We were welcomed very friendly and served as well. We had the Athens and Karistos grill plates. The food was very tasty, well seasoned and everything tasted very fresh. Absolutely recommended. We'd love to come back.

We came here spontaneously after a shopping tour and didn't have a table reservation at the best time and when it was very busy. We were asked to be patient for a few minutes and they already had a comfortable place for us. The service was great, everyone was super nice, friendly, attentive and quick. But that was surpassed by the food itself. My husband had a grill plate, I had pork fillet in metaxa sauce with croquettes (if desired) and tomato rice. All an absolute pleasure! We have tried many Greek restaurants over the last 10 years but this is by far the best! We would love to come back ❤️

Pleasant Greek restaurant on the edge of Ransbach-Baumbach, which despite the z. Due to construction work currently taking place in the city, it is easily accessible, especially with a navigation system. We had reserved a table in advance and were able to sit down outside. The waitress was at the table quickly and brought the drinks after a short time and at the same time took the order for the food. This came in a reasonable time. All in all, we were very satisfied and will come back here at the next opportunity.

So one star is still too many. You call and reserve a table for two (which is no problem according to the boss), then you come there and after you are asked if you have reserved and give your name, you are looked at with wide eyes, as if you had “not reserved”. At this point you should optimize yourself, as this is not the first time this has happened! And you are left standing at the entrance for 7 minutes before you get a table. You should run your shop a little more organized, which was definitely not the case yesterday. After a lot of waiting, we were told that the colleague would be coming soon and would assign us a table upstairs. This colleague came and was just about to go up with us when another colleague came down, there was a short chat and suddenly the table behind us (on (draughty entrance) was quickly cleaned and told that we could take a seat, where we noted that we had been asked and wanted to go upstairs, the service staff rolled their eyes, so that's a no-go per se and not customer-oriented! We left on the spot because I don't have to go out to eat somewhere where customer service is tolerated due to miserable staff. We then went to the Olympia in Dernbach, we were welcomed very nicely and the food was great. All I can say is that the Cavo Doro had better previous owners (who also had great staff). As I said, I won't be entering this store again, even though many people say the food is so great, it's an average Greek, nothing more, nothing less. @Thomas J. Schneider: if you had read my review correctly, you would have been able to see that I made a reservation in that sense... and when I'm supposed to be shown a place upstairs and suddenly it's not, but next to the entrance door, that's telling that of a lack of planning...and an eye roll from a service employee towards a guest (who is after all paying their salary) is disrespectful. So please read everything a little more carefully next time before you mention “cavo doro” countless times in your review, perhaps at your favorite place, the table right by the entrance door…

Just perfect. We've been there many times, over and over again. Like a few hours of vacation.

First of all: The food was very tasty. Unfortunately, the female waiter didn't give the impression that she enjoyed her job or dealing with guests. If that doesn't bother you, you'll get your money's worth culinary here.

Prices are relatively high, but they are okay because you really have a real “restaurant experience”. The service is really very good, he is very friendly and doesn't ask too often or too rarely. The whole place is nice and in good condition, the ambience is absolutely above average. Also definitely suitable for upscale occasions. But the most important thing is of course the food. As I said, the prices are one thing, but that's not so bad because the portions are really big and it tastes super delicious! I'm sure everyone knows that they charge a lot of money but one portion is hardly enough and there's nothing else that can convince them, so you don't like going there. But it tastes great here, I ate the best gyros and souvlaki I've ever had here. The tzatziki was also 10/10 delicious! I also thought I would test what is served to me here when I order tomato soup. But it was also very tasty and most likely homemade, nice with a little cream and parsley but the soup also has a super strong, fresh, unique taste with several levels. It was definitely not a finished product. Oh and the garlic bread to put in! Crispy, delicious baguette slices (8x), lightly toasted, with garlic, tomato pieces and herbs. Splendid! The only thing that is average here are the fries. They're not bad, but they're not outstanding either. But that's not why you go to a restaurant like this. I can only recommend everyone to go to the restaurant, it's worth an hour's drive!

We came on a recommendation with a journey of around 25 km and will come back!! Absolutely fantastic. Very tasty food, very friendly service, great ambience and plenty of parking spaces in front of the door. Price-performance ratio tip top. Only the side salad should be more Greek (coleslaw), but that is a matter of taste. We give it a 100% recommendation. 💯💯💯 I also like to give a generous tip if you have a successful restaurant visit.

The food tastes excellent! The meat is nice and tender and the portions are generous. Ambience and service also great. There are enough parking spaces available. You can sit very nicely on the outside terrace. Prices OK.

The food is super tasty, varied and the portions are large. My favorite is the gyros pan a’ la’ creme. The staff is very friendly. There are enough seats outside and inside (ground floor and upper floor). If you have a severe disability (wheelchair or walking aid), it is best to reserve a seat in the basement or outside. The parking spaces are directly in front of the building. The restaurant is always busy, especially on weekends.

Saganaki salad according to the menu: Green salad, coleslaw, vine tomatoes, cucumber and egg, baked, breaded sheep's cheese, mustard-honey dressing and white bread Price according to the menu online €13.30. I received a square deep plate with green salad and coleslaw and now it comes: A decorative cucumber slice on two corners of the edge of the plate and a tomato slice on the other two corners. The ingredient egg consisted of two quarters of an egg. Plus three small rolls of baked cheese and 4 slices of baguette. I hadn't imagined it like that. A salad couldn't be more boring, colorless and with almost no ingredients. And the price online isn't right either. I paid €15.30 and not €13.30 as stated. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo. But my colleague also ordered a salad that was served with almost no ingredients and can confirm that. Very disappointing !!!

Geschmacklich, von den Portionen absolut ausreichend und preislich absolut top😋das Restaurant ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet und in der Weihnachtszeit sehr geschmackvoll dekoriert. Wir waren vor kurzem mit einer großen Familie dort essen... Alles und jedem hat es sehr, sehr gut geschmeckt! Das Essen, egal ob Vorspeise oder Hauptgang, sah schon lecker aus. Der Service ÜBERAUS freundlich, obwohl sehr viel zutun war an dem Sonntag. Die Auswahl an Speisen lässt keine Wünsche offen! Was mir auch sehr gut gefällt ist, dass man im Sommer draußen schön sitzen kann... Da können auch Kinder toll und unbesorgt spielen, da es im ruhigen Wohngebiet gelegen ist! Wir kommen sehr gerne, und in Zukunft auch öfter, wieder!

Ein eher durchschnittliches griechisches Restaurant. Vom ersten Eindruck von außen und beim Betreten ist es ein Restaurant, das ein Publikum ü50 anspricht. Der Service ist jedoch exzellent. Super schnell, aufmerksam und stets freundlich. Hier kann man fast nicht besser sein. Das Essen ist jedoch unter dem Schnitt. Die Gerichte vom Grill waren nicht typisch scharf angefüllt, sonder nur leicht angeröstet. Auch in Sachen Gewürze , hat mir der typische griechische Stil gefehlt. Eher für den deutschen Durchschnittsgaumen gedacht. Das Ambiente steht auch nicht für einen Griechen, sondern für ein klassisches deutsches Restaurant. Hier könnte man deutlich mehr draus machen.

Ein griechisches Restaurant. Sauber, nette Bedienung, lecker. Preise sind völlig in Ordnung. Es gibt ein Außenbereich als große Terrasse, wo man essen kann oder einfach etwas trinken, im Sommer ein Träumchen. Besonders abends. Hier haste Ruhe. Einfach klasse. Der Innenbereich ist auch sehr schön. Jedoch bei Vollbelegung etwas warm und laut. Aber nicht unangenehm. Alles in allem. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Essen ist gut gewesen. Wir hatten für 18 Uhr einen Tisch bestellt und wollten einen gemütlichen Abend dort verbringen. Später wollten noch Freunde nachkommen, nach dem Essen. Leider wurden wir um 19.30 Uhr gebeten, nachdem wir gegessen hatten, zu gehen, da der Tisch um 19.30 Uhr wieder reserviert sei. Wenn uns das bei der Reservierung mitgeteilt worden wäre, hätten wir uns eine andere Lokalität aufgesucht.

Ein wirklich gutes griechisches Restaurant! Ich muss für mein Teil leider zugeben, dass ich kein großer Freund mehr von griechischen Essen bin. Trotzdessen hat mir das Essen hier wirklich gut geschmeckt. Die Portionen sind auch groß genug! Alles in allem kann ich mich nicht beschweren.

Leckeres Essen 😋 wir sind definitiv satt geworden 😀

Wir waren gestern hier nach vielen Jahren noch mal zu Abend essen. Zuvor hatte es leider nicht geklappt zwecks Reservierungen oder spontanen besuchen. Das Essen war hervorragend und hat sehr lecker geschmeckt. Die Portionen sind wirklich sehr üppig und die Preise sind voll in Ordnung. Die beiden Kellner waren sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und Kinderfreundlich. Wir werden bald wiederkommen👍☺️.

Sehr lecker, vor allem die Zucchini Bällchen schmecken wie im Urlaub. Alles sehr authentisch außer Schnitzel auf der Karte Schnitzel finde ich muss bei so einem tollen Griechen nicht sein aber es scheint wohl genug Kunden dafür zu geben sonst würden sie es nicht anbieten.
