Die Lage ist sehr zentral, die Mitarbeiter sehr nett und hilfsbereit, die Zimmer vor allem die Möbel müssten mal erneuert werden aber was mich am meisten gestört hat waren die Kissen, diese sind katastrophal also man kann diese nicht als Kissen identifizieren, ich hatte jeden morgen Nackenschmerzen.

Essen war sehr lecker, große Portion, netter Service. Etwas Hintergrundmusik wäre schön gewesen.

Zum erstenmal zum Frühstück dort gewesen, es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und geschmeckt. Es war alles vorhanden und der Service durch Fr.Schaab sehr gut und immer auf Augenhöhe. Die Räume sStihlvoll eingerichtet. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Das Fleisch war auf dem Punkt perfekt gegart. Das Essen war gut gewürzt und sehr appetitlich angerichtet. Das Servicepersonal war freundlich, sehr aufmerksam und war auf zack trotz vollem Haus.

Hotel Eisbach combines tradition with modern thinking – exactly my style. The restaurant offers regional specialties, and the hotel is truly progressive when it comes to environmental responsibility. Using WingsCoin, I was able to skip the cleaning fee and receive a small bonus. The fact that the hotel also supports Project Wings makes it doubly worthwhile. It's these small steps that make a difference – I'd gladly return!

We've eaten there several times with friends and family. The beautiful and stylish ambiance, the very friendly and professional service, and the truly excellent food always make a visit to Eisbach a special experience. Unfortunately, it was a completely different experience for us. The food in the restaurant was truly excellent, and the service there was fantastic. The room, however, was a disaster. Aside from the spartan, mismatched furnishings, the heating in the bathroom didn't work. When we asked, we were promised a fan heater, but unfortunately, it never came. Showering in the bathroom wasn't just problematic due to the lack of heating: the poor sealing of the splash guard in the tub also made it almost impossible to avoid completely flooding the bathroom. We weren't offered a discount at checkout either.

We went there for dinner, and it was definitely one of the best mushroom cream schnitzels with super delicious spaetzle I've ever eaten!

We were completely satisfied; a pleasant, quiet hotel. The staff was very accommodating. We stayed there from Friday to Sunday and had half board, with breakfast buffet and dinner from the à la carte menu. We will definitely go back; the value for money is impressive.

Very good cuisine and very attentive staff

This review refers only to the restaurant. The ambiance is quite nice. Unfortunately, the food wasn't for us. The spaetzle were swimming in butter. The poorly seasoned schnitzel came with very little sauce. The curry and the gourmet pan were rather small in portion size. The service was quite friendly, but because the server hadn't taken down the orders, a drink was missing. About ten minutes after the food order was taken, we were asked again what exactly we had ordered. After that, we waited another 40 minutes. Ultimately, two dishes didn't come with the ordered side dish. All in all, we were rather disappointed, given the many positive reviews.

Good value for money, and the rooms were, above all, clean and tidy. The size of the single room was perfectly adequate for me. A lovely breakfast room and, in good weather, a terrace that's obviously great.

Yesterday (Saturday, 6 p.m.), four of us spontaneously decided to have a meal and a drink in the beer garden of the Hotel Eisbach. After finding a seat, we waited about 15 minutes for service. We were then asked if we had a reservation. When we said no, we were told that everything inside was reserved and the beer garden would be closed due to a supposed thunderstorm forecast—even though it remained dry all evening. It was particularly disappointing that at a neighboring table, guests were still sitting and being served at the same time. There was no indication anywhere that the beer garden was closed. We walked 6.5 km specifically to stop by here, only to be turned away. What a shame and disappointing—we won't be back anytime soon.

Yes, Ransbach Baumbach is very well located, you can do a lot from here, by car and on foot

The hotel is located right on a roundabout, and the noise from the cars is clearly audible. The room is generally not bad, but there are wooden beams on each side of the bed - I was constantly worried that I would hit my head. There is no curtain on the small window, and bright light penetrates the room from the very morning, which is not very convenient. The shower is very spacious. However, there was very little shower gel, barely enough. Wi-Fi practically did not work: the connection is weak and unstable. Breakfast is very ordinary, but you can eat. Overall, it is an option for just spending the night.

Simple but welcoming structure, perfect for a stopover if you are traveling along the A3. The location is convenient, easy to get to and with parking available. The rooms are basic and quite clean. The furnishings are decidedly dated, and a general refresh would be needed. Some rooms are small and with a little narrow spaces, they are acceptable if you are only staying for one or two nights. The restaurant, however, is a pleasant surprise: the food is good, the dishes are well prepared and the portions are right. The breakfast is also fairly varied and of good quality. The staff is friendly and helpful, and there is a family atmosphere. The only real limitation: there is no lift, so if you have heavy luggage or difficulty climbing stairs it can be inconvenient. Overall, a good place for a quiet stop without too many pretensions.

Wir waren jetzt zwei Sonntagabende hintereinander mit Freunden dort (vorher noch nicht). Das Essen (zweimal verschiedene Gerichte) war klasse. Portionsgröße und Geschmack einwandfrei. Wir haben beidemale recht lang gesessen (wir waren jeweils die letzte Gäste...). Es gab keine Anstalten des Personals uns zum Gehen zu bewegen. Sehr freundlich. Man kommt gerne wieder.

We went to Retaurant Eisbach for dinner on Boxing Day. Super friendly staff, both from the reservation point and in the evening for dinner. As usual, the dishes were beautifully prepared and tasted very tasty. Only the fulfillment of the wish for a vegan menu still has room for improvement. All in all, a lovely evening in a small family circle at reasonable prices. We would also like to come back. We did not rate the room or location. What should be highlighted is the ample parking space at the hotel/restaurant.

The building is beautifully renovated inside and out. But I can't write any more positive comments. The room stinks. Cleaning is casual. The buffet table is poor. Hotel staff is listless. The final bill is inaccurate. Panorama is... I don't like it - rear entrance of the neighboring shop.

We ate there with our little daughter 2 weeks ago. Very, very child-friendly, totally flexible and all the staff were very friendly. My daughter had a lot of fun, especially with a really lovely Keller (Hassan). The food was absolutely delicious. We are super happy when we go home and will definitely come back.

Decent hotel in a central location with good value for money

We were there for breakfast because friends of ours were staying there. Price per person €14.00 Not exactly cheap, but if the quality is right, just about acceptable. Very small room for the buffet. Unfortunately, the scrambled eggs weren't cooked properly, and the few pieces that had an OK consistency were only lukewarm. There were no boiled eggs because apparently there were no more eggs available. On the weekend with a pottery market and a full house????? 🤭 Bread and baked goods were delicious. With the sliced ​​cheese you could still see that it had only been taken out of the self-service packaging. A piece of black pudding, already without the skin, was uncut in the sausage selection. Should everyone do it themselves? Hygienic is something different. Overall it was a disappointing stay and our last at this hotel. Even if it was just for breakfast.

Rooms, basic but functional- we had a room( 35) at the top of the house which has a tiny bathroom and even smaller shower cubicle. But the room is on the larger size as has a sofa in it we're a kids bed was put infront for our vist with our 4yr old. Location wise not to far of the M3 which is why we picked this town to stop the night in . Not far (1.5km) from a local petrol station with cheaper prices than the motorway.

Double rooms look quite retro, the staff is very friendly, the food is anything but tasty. I got a stomach ache from the multivitamin juice and the ride back in the car wasn't very pleasant. The salad with almost every dish in the restaurant was far too vinegary and the food in general was sometimes already cold. The rooms are all very simple and old-fashioned. As soon as you sit on the bed, half the mattress flies up. These are also way too soft, which is why I now have back pain. I don't understand why there is an armchair under a television. The bathroom is very small and the bathroom door is very difficult to close. You could see the rusted pipe at the sink, which is not necessarily in your field of vision when brushing your teeth. There were no options to hang or put anything down. When you go to the toilet you half-kiss the wall and, if you're a little taller, bump into some kind of heater. You could even still see a layer of dust on the mirror. The buffet was arranged in a small aisle. There was a very small selection and the food didn't look particularly fresh. The juices available were orange and multivitamin juice. Normal in itself, but only if nothing is spoiled. It looks like the juices are not tasted before serving, that should be changed. I drank 2 1/2 glasses of it and didn't realize that the stuff was already bad. After a long and almost sleepless night, I wasn't able to pay attention to anything like that. [When we got there, we spotted a rat opposite the night entrance, so that was pretty much it for me.] The staff is super friendly and will fulfill your every wish or help you with any questions straight away. I wouldn't go to this hotel again to sleep one night. This experience wasn't exactly the best or nicest.

I rate the hotel based on the fact that many business travelers and mechanics probably stay here and this results in a solid price-performance ratio. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is manageable. The only real criticism: The internet is underground and I wasn't able to connect to the company via VPN.

I was there for one night, that's enough. As a regular, mostly professional, but also private guest in hotels (usually larger hotel chains), I didn't expect so much from a "smaller" hotel in the province, but there were a few no-gos that didn't motivate me to visit again. The most positive thing: The few contacts with the service staff were friendly. I look at the size of the room with mixed feelings: there is a world of difference between the website representation and the reality of room Zi25. The furnishings aren't really modern either, but in my opinion rather rustic/old-fashioned - but there may be people who find that nice, but it's not mine. You can perhaps put all of this into perspective for one night. But my absolute no-go: cleanliness! Personally low point in my hotel experiences so far. The cleaning lady who I first asked about it just shrugged her shoulders and nodded in a friendly manner. At the reception they were at least understanding and promised to take care of it. I hope that this was an exceptional case, as I rarely find any references to cleanliness in many other reviews. Breakfast buffet is appropriate for the size of the hotel.

Location is okay and the garden is really nicely landscaped. We only went to eat. The service staff is very nice. Food was an absolute failure, at least for me. Chicken schnitzel with a crispy crust and a large salad. Meat was pre-breaded pressed meat. Large salad was very small and salad dressing was anything but tasty. The price for this is completely overpriced.

We stayed for one night + breakfast at the Hotel Eisbach, in Ransbach-Baumbach. 200 year old building. Room was ok. The mattress was too soft for me🙈Bathroom was also ok, only the broken (inside) sink needed to be replaced. But it was very clean and that's the be-all and end-all! Very quiet. Windows have blinds. Service good. Delicious breakfast, fresh rolls, lattemaciatto on request👍The environment is very good. Enough parking spaces at the hotel. It was about a 10 minute walk to the town hall. Definitely recommended for 1-3 nights. The hotel has a great restaurant where you can also eat in the evening, but with reservation, it is in great demand.

Das Restaurant ist bekannt, hier geht man gerne hin, weshalb es zur Essenszeit auch schon mal voll sein kann: Wir hatten aber unseren Lieblingstisch (am Ende des Gastraums auf einer kleinen Empore) vorher reserviert, was auch problemlos klappte. Sowohl die freundliche und effiziente Bedienung, als auch das Essen waren bestens. Sehr lecker die Rinderbouillon, Spargel und Schweineschnitzel, ein Highlight auch der Apfelstrudel!

Selection of dishes is rather clear, prices are quite high. It's also worth mentioning that they charge €2.20 to change an insert - I've never experienced that before and that's quite bold.

Parking spaces are at the back of the hotel The transit areas and the restaurant are clean and well maintained. The service staff is friendly and courteous. The food was very good. Das Essen war sehr lecker und preislich angemessen, ein guten Steak für knapp 35€ in so gutem Ambiente ist nicht zu viel verlangt. Die Getränkepreise waren auch vernünftig und nicht übertrieben, das Essen wurde schnell serviert und wir wurden regelmäßig nach weiteren Getränken, Nachtisch oder sonstigen Befindlichkeiten gefragt, also alles top.

Wir sassen mit vier Personen in einer kleinen Nische zusammen mit 6 Personen. War sehr gemütlich und lecker. Das Personal war sehr bemüht. Gerne wieder.

Wir hatten eine Gans für 4 Personen mit Rotkraut, Rosenkohl, Serviettenknödel und Kartoffelknödel … und natürlich mit viel Sauce. Es hat uns allen sehr gut geschmeckt und wir kommen gerne wieder 👌.
