We wanted to have something to eat and try a few wines on Saturday evening February 22, 2025 at 7:10 p.m. in the Kaisergarten wine restaurant and wine shop. Unfortunately we couldn't get a seat, even though some tables were free. The lady behind the counter told us that the kitchen closes at 9:00 p.m., and as I said it was 7:10 p.m....somehow we had the feeling that she didn't really want to accept us as guests at that time. We got a very good stay at Armando's, but the event was still unpleasant. We will avoid this restaurant in the future.
Addition to the answer from the owner:
I wouldn't bother writing a review if I went to a restaurant, asked for a table and was answered: Unfortunately we are fully booked today. We didn't understand your employee's statement to mean that all tables were already reserved. And when we walked back to the car around 9:40 p.m., there were still some tables unoccupied. A different picture emerged for us.
Fast delivery, friendly delivery man. The food was actually quite good. The pizza tasted good, the creamed schnitzel was okay. The Chinese noodles weren't as expected, and the flavor was rather lackluster. All in all, though, it was certainly good food for such a wide-ranging menu!
The food was good, as you'd expect from a British restaurant.
The young gentleman's service was excellent. He presented our food beautifully and brought food to an elderly couple's table when they hadn't heard their food was ready.
I was on vacation in the Raven's Nest in August.
Once and never again. Room dirty, in need of renovation.
Was treated condescendingly by the hostess. Never book again
I ate a currywurst with fries. When a regular customer comes who she knows by name and says the fries are old, she makes him fresh ones. Of course I got some of these “old” fries beforehand. Thanks for that
