The wine evenings are a pleasure! The owner Michael Vollmer puts together the right wines for a specific theme. He coordinates these with the excellent chef Rene Sauerzapfe for each course - really a culinary delight :-)

We recently went to a breakfast buffet for a .....silver, gold or diamond wedding, I don't want to specify that as I was invited. It was more than below average. The buffet was not replenished. I would have liked to eat a slice of raw ham or some fish, no chance... and that wasn't because of the behavior of the other guests but because they didn't add more. The cheese plate consisted of the cheapest varieties from a discount store. No Brie, no Camembert, no trace of cream cheese. There was one type of bread, rolls, no croissants, no freshly fried eggs. For us one of the worst breakfast buffets we have experienced. We won't have breakfast here again

An institution, a must in Mastholte

Had dinner here this evening. Had a pizza and dessert. Everything tasted great. I'd love to come back.

Great pub, friendly staff, ok price.

Food was ok, but not really good. It was enough to satisfy the hunger, but not so much to satisfy the appetite. Prices are good though.

So if you are looking for a cozy watch pub, you are exactly right here. Very interesting decoration, nice service and delicious food. But you should ask for a table beforehand. Drinks are the usual suspects, from beer to cola to water.

We were there for lunch and were super satisfied, very tasty food, fresh salad and good portions Friendly service. It's not a noble restaurant but good down-to-earth cuisine in a restaurant character. We'll be happy to come back. We are already looking forward to the Christmas buffet

Very friendly staff, you don't have to wait long, and super delicious food at reasonable prices
